01. It's great. Larry, let's talk on a global level. You said the world will need up to $68 trillion in new infrastructure investment by 2040. That's a trillion with a B now. Where do you think there is the greatest need for infrastructure investment worldwide? Let me highlight the United States. In the next 10 years, the United States alone will need more than $10 trillion in infrastructure investments.

02. And the key is how it's going to be done. Where is the money going to come from? And the key is the beauty and vitality of the United States; more and more foreigners want to bring their money to the United States. And that is a real indication of the exceptional nature of the United States compared to other places.

03. Therefore, we remain a great destination. But I think a large part of this money is going to come from average savings and investment accounts. It is important that we generate more and more trust in our population to grow with the United States . If we keep money only in a bank account, we are not growing with our economy.

04. We are not growing with the United States. Therefore, we must instill more confidence that long-term investing , long-term investing in Texas or throughout the United States, will perform much better as an investment vehicle than investing or keeping our money in a savings account at a bank. Yes, that's security and all that, and we all have...

05. I'm not saying we shouldn't have funds for emergencies or anything like that. But if we could get more and more Americans to think about growing with the United States, we would have more than enough money to invest in this infrastructure. But as the governor said, the need for electrons grows every day.

06. Some of these things , you know, if we are going to be leaders in technology, as we are, if we are going to be leaders in AI, as we are currently, will only require trillions of dollars in investments. And if we don't invest in it, China will be the world leader in this. Therefore , for me, it's not a question of whether this is an obligation.

07. And if you think about how that translates, it translates into a more dynamic economy. We need the US economy to grow at more than 2%. We need the US economy to grow at 3%, especially with the growing deficits of the federal government . Therefore, much of this money, not just for projects, will come from the private sector.

08. Savings accounts, pension accounts, insurance companies, and so on. The whole world needs to improve its infrastructure. You know, the governor talked about energy in Texas and doubling the energy here in Texas. But when you think about the United States, we haven't invested in our country's electrical grids as much as is needed.

09. And what worries me is that we're not investing fast enough. And in some states we have too many restrictions, too many permitting problems. And one of the main reasons why Texas remains one of the top destinations, the capital , is the ease of putting that money to work. And besides that, now investing in the people of Texas is a happy environment.

10. I can't say that about many places in the United States, or about all places in the United States. And then there's the money, the trillions of dollars that will be needed to create the vitality so that our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have the same opportunities that we have had or will have.

11. And for me, it will come from the private sector. We cannot rely solely on the federal government; state governments will also fund it. And I think we will see more and more joint public and private investment, cooperating with state and local governments to build this infrastructure. When you think about housing, as the governor said, in fact, in the United States today, we have the oldest housing stock in the United States in the last 50 years.

12. We are not investing enough in housing. And that's why housing prices have risen faster than inflation, which is why housing affordability remains one of the central issues in the United States today. But I believe we will be able to solve these problems because we talk about them, and if we address them, we can allocate more capital to help more of these areas needed to build America's future vitality.

13. Thank you both. Just one statement to answer this question. What does success look like in 5 years? Governor ? Texas being number one in most jobs, number one in the best economy and, by definition, that would mean number one in the best workforce in the United States. It's great. Mr. Feig, well, I'm an avowed capitalist.

14. We need to make capitalism work for more people. We need to make capitalism work, and I'm concerned that some of the younger generations are questioning it. I mean, in many surveys that's a big question. Those are things that scare me. I mean to say that the alternative, from my perspective, is not the right outcome in any way.

15. We have governments, state and local governments, that believe socialism is a better outcome. So, as an avowed capitalist, I must commit to myself that over the next 5 years we will make sure that we are making capitalism work for more Americans, period. It's great. Everyone, let's give them a round of applause. Mr. Feig, Governor, thank you all very much .
