01. Friends, Warren Buffett is the greatest investor of the century. He has given some such financial strategies which if you follow regularly, you can multiply your money in the long term. Here I am not going to tell you any get rich quick scheme. I will tell you some such habits. I will tell you some such methods which if you keep following for a long time, then after 10 years from today, if suppose you had ₹20 lakhs saved, then perhaps by following these strategies you would have saved ₹50 lakhs or more.

02. But let me tell you again that you will have to make these methods a habit. No major change will be seen after a day or two. Because whatever money Warren Buffett has earned, he has earned it in the long term. So the first strategy in this is a very common thing. I am not telling you something very different and that is that you should always try to spend less than your income.

03. Meaning, if you earn one lakh rupees per month, then always try to spend less than one lakh rupees per month. Generally what happens is that if you are earning lakhs then people have credit cards or nowadays they get short term loans, using which they spend more. Then we think that it's okay, I will pay the credit card bill next month.

04. Then their life continues to run on credit cards and the second biggest thing is that in such a situation you buy many unnecessary things which you never needed, due to which you get pleasure in the short term but in the long term your pocket keeps getting empty, you can think of it as a pot which has a hole in the bottom, so no matter how much money you put in from above, it will keep coming out from the bottom, so therefore always try to spend less than your income, if you do this for a long term then your capital can become very big.

05. Now what we mean to say here is not at all that you should do as you please. If you want to buy a car, don't buy it. If you want to buy a mobile then don't buy it. What we mean to say is that whatever you are buying, think carefully before buying it and whether you actually need it. Like nowadays many people buy iPhone, they buy it for hobby.

06. But they do not require it. I have it but I need it because I also create content. But not everyone needs it and even if you want to buy it, then buy 17 or 16, you will get it at a discount. So if you spend wisely like this, then this difference may not seem big in the short term but it creates a huge difference in the long term.

07. After this, his second strategy is to always focus on the long term. I told you Warren Buffett made his money over the long term. So their strategy is that many times you get such offers that if you invest money here, this much will be achieved in so many days. This will happen, that will happen. So, if Warren Buffett has said that those short term strategies are there, then you can understand that in most of the cases, either they are not right for you or due to greed, you lose the money that you had earned, so therefore, if you keep focusing on the long term, then even if slowly, your capital will increase.

08. Now the problem in this is that it is not visible while growing. Now suppose you invest your money in an index fund which gives you annual returns of 10-12%. So here, if you had invested Rs 1 lakh in the first year, then next year you would have seen only Rs 10,000. So you will think that it is only 10,000.

09. But what you don't understand here is that if you keep investing this money, it will compound and become a huge capital. So you always have to focus on the long term. After this, the third thing I have already talked about is index funds. But Warren Buffett says that even if you do not know anything about the stock market or investing, you can still invest your money in at least an index fund.

10. Now what is an index fund? Let me explain it in short. Look, you must have heard the name of Nifty , you must have heard the name of Sensex. This Nifty consists of the top 50 companies of the stock market. And the Sensex consists of the top 30 companies of the stock market. Now, it is not that these 30 or 50 companies always remain at the top.

11. Suppose if a company performs poorly then it is removed from the list of NFT 50. If a company performs well, it is added. That means this Nifty 50 always keeps shuffling after a particular time. So if you think that I don't know whether this company will do well or that company will do well, but I think that our stock market will do well, which you are seeing that the overall stock market keeps increasing over the long term.

12. So in such a situation, you can also invest your money in Nifty 50 and it is not invested directly in it. There are some index funds for this. Just like there is an index fund for Nifty, there is an index fund for Sensex. You can invest in it. In this, you will get good returns in the long term and there is not much risk also.

13. And at the same time, the expense ratio in other mutual funds, that is, the amount charged by the mutual fund company, ranges from 1.5 to 2%. But in index funds it remains less than 1%. So this is a very good investment option which has been told by Warren Buffett. However, if you want to invest in index funds, then for this you must have your own demat account.

14. So if you do not have a demat account then I have given you the link in the description of that video. From there you can open your absolutely free demat account. Now after this, the fourth strategy which Warren Buffett has told is Patience and Discipline. will what? As soon as you invest money in index funds, the stock market performs well in the long term.

15. But nothing is known about the short term. So in the short term, the price you invested. The price went down. Suppose you had invested ₹1 lakh and Nifty fell by 5% in 1 month due to any reason, then you will see that friend, I have suffered a loss of ₹5,000. Friend, I have invested my money in a useless place and what will you do?

16. You will remove it next month itself. Where? So you invested for the long term and you withdrew that money the very next month. Whereas if you look after 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, you would have been getting good returns there. So, whenever you are investing, after investing, you have to sit quietly and if you are investing through SIP, like every month, suppose you invest ₹5000 in an index fund, then you have to continue doing it for the long term.

17. We have done many such calculations to show that if you had stopped investing at any point in the middle, you would have suffered losses in the long term. We have shown many such calculations. If you buy a mutual fund and sell it after some time or if you stop your SIP midway, then you will not be able to earn that much capital in the long term.

18. Therefore, if you do SIP then index fund is a good option and once you start it, it will be better if you do it with discipline for the long term. Warren Buffett has not revealed the next strategy after this. I am telling you this which is very important for your life. See, what happens is that sometimes people save money with great effort.

19. Meaning, many times we want to buy a mobile phone by suppressing our desire but do not buy it. Want to buy a car, buy a small one or don't buy one. And after that what mistake do they make that once they fall sick, all the money is spent on it. And apart from this, sometimes some unforced emergency arises.

20. All the money goes into that. Meaning, you saved money with so much hard work and that money is gone just like that. So to prevent this from happening to you, you have to always do three things. The first thing is an emergency fund. If you earn Rs 10,000, save every month. If you earn Rs 1 lakh, save as much as you can every month, Rs 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, and keep it in a separate account.

21. You can even open two bank accounts. You have to keep that money in a separate account and if you want, you can also make an FD of it or do something so that you can withdraw that money instantly whenever you want. So every month you have to save a certain amount. You will have this amount for your emergency situation in case any problem arises.

22. So if you are making any investment. Suppose you have invested for so many years. The market had fallen. At that time, some problem occurred and you had to sell your investment at a loss. Whereas if it had been kept for 2 more months, it would probably have made a good profit. So this should not happen to you.

23. Therefore, you have to keep a separate amount of money with you which you should always keep only for emergencies, that if there is any problem in the job or any major emergency arises, only then you will use or withdraw that money. Otherwise he will be safe with you. After this, the second thing that you should always keep in mind is that you must buy a term insurance.

24. Look, I don't know anything about human life. So in such a situation, if you take a term insurance, then for ₹ 600, 700 or ₹800 per month, you can get term insurance of even ₹1 crore. So if a person dies and he is the sole earning member of his family, then his family may face a lot of problems. So if you have taken a term insurance of ₹1 crore for ₹700-₹800, then in this case your family can be saved from a big problem.

25. And the third thing is that you must take health insurance for your entire family so that if any disease occurs, your ₹3000 every month can be spent in it if you take care of the entire family, depending upon how much money you want to spend, keeping all this in mind, you must also take health insurance for your family so that if any problem arises, then the money that you have saved with so much hard work is not used.

26. So, you must do these three things. Otherwise, if you want to buy health insurance and term insurance , then I have given you its link in the description. You can buy the policy by comparing it yourself from the market. You will find the link in the description. So you have to always keep this thing in mind.

27. After this, if we talk about the next strategy, then see, since Warren Buffett is an investor, the next strategy he has given is according to investment. He has said that if you are investing, then always keep a margin of safety there. That is, if you need ₹1 crore for your retirement, then you should also keep a little margin of safety here that you may need ₹1 crore 10 lakh or ₹1 crore 20 lakh, then you will have to adjust your investment accordingly.

28. Meaning, if you invest in index funds and think that you will get 12% returns, then what will happen if you get 10% returns? So here you will keep a little margin of safety of 1%. So, if you carry a little margin of safety, then if any problem was going to arise in the long term, you can avoid that too.

29. And finally, the last strategy we are telling you is that you should always keep yourself updated about whatever is happening in the market. Meaning, if you know that nowadays the price of gold is increasing or the price of gold is falling or nowadays the share market is moving like this or like that.

30. So in such a situation, there are opportunities at many places. You will get those opportunities only if you always remain updated. And it's not just about opportunities. If any problem is going to arise, then if you remain updated, you can remain a little aware of that problem also. Like it happened during the time of Covid.

31. The news started spreading even before Covid arrived. So those who were aware started taking some precautions in advance and they remained safe. There were some people who had no idea. Since he was roaming around, his problem had increased. So if you keep yourself updated with the market and keep all kinds of information with you, then it can help you in the long term.
