The internet and news about Bitcoin keep coming this week. Everyone is pointing out that Bitcoin is being manipulated and attacked unfairly and deliberately. All of this stems from China's ban on everything in their country, creating a snowball effect that has now culminated in this character, Jamie Dimon.
I'm sure you've seen him somewhere; maybe it's Facebook posts or just a quick glance on a YouTube channel. Obviously, all the comments are full of snark and laughter from various sources, declaring that he's an idiot, that he's irrelevant, that he has no idea what he's talking about, and that what this poor devil says simply doesn't matter.
Today I want to do something different than just dictate an article that's available online. Today I want to show you why this character's opinion is so important in the world of writing and why his statements caused Bitcoin to drop from almost four thousand three hundred dollars to three thousand, since I know many are unaware and still don't understand the reasons behind some things related to it.
Furthermore, who is Jamie Dimon? Jamie Dimon is not... None other than one of the most famous bankers in the world and CEO of one of the oldest banks in existence, Morgan Chase. A bank with so much power and history that its founder, JP Morgan, had enough money to lend out and bail out the entire US economy.
Currently, we could say that Jamie Dimon is what some call the Illuminati. Morgan Chase, a bank born in 2000 from the collaboration of the world's richest people, involved Feller and JP Morgan. On one side, the biggest oil magnate, and on the other, the biggest electric power magnate. But who did he partner with?
The already popular Thomas Morgan, who claimed to be the inventor of electricity. He spoke of businessmen with so much money and power that, if they wanted, they could buy off presidents to lead them, and they did. This was all to maintain their power. Empires that time hasn't fallen, but rather strengthened, and they have worked together for their own survival, as history has shown, thus forging a union between them.
Bankers, including Feller from Chase Manhattan Bank and JP Morgan in 2000, formed the union that led to the creation of the world's largest bank, Chase Morgan. In 2004, they hired the individual we're discussing today, a person completely unrelated to the Morgan dynasty. His skill and experience, gained on Wall Street and at American Express, propelled him to this point, making him the CEO and face of the most famous bank in existence.
But what matters to us about Jamie Dimon and everything related to Bitcoin? As expected, he was never a supporter of this currency for obvious reasons, but his disapproval had as much influence as anything China directed. He said they are worse than tulip bulbs, referring to a financial crisis in the Netherlands in 1634 caused by price speculation in the Turkish flower.
Dimon differentiates digital currency from blockchain technology, which he considers extremely useful, but in the case of Bitcoin... He said it won't work for long because the world can't allow currencies to exist without state oversight, especially if something goes wrong. Limón also cited China as an example of the impossibility of regulated currencies functioning due to its recent rulings related to initial coin offerings (ICOs), which are severely affected by the problems in that country.
He also asserted that the only argument that, from his perspective, justifies the use of digital currencies is that the user finds themselves in financial situations where there are no other options, such as in the case of Venezuela, Ecuador, and North Korea, or receiving payments from illicit activities.
He said, "If you were in Venezuela, Ecuador, or North Korea, or a bunch of places like that, or if you were a drug dealer, a murderer, or something like that, it's better to do it in Bitcoin than US dollars. So there might be a market for it, but it would be a very limited market." Dimon's statements didn't end there, as the bank's CEO said they would fire any employee who traded in Bitcoin for being stupid.
He said, "I'll do it." I would fire them in a second for two reasons: they're against our rules and they're stupid, and both are dangerous. What do you think about this? The rumors about Jamie made us wait, claiming that he's afraid of Bitcoin because it would ruin him, or that he only did it to buy low, arguing that what happened with Bitcoin when it fell $400 in 2015 and now in 2017 will position the US in the strategic place it wants.
But what's clear is that Beckham won't die because as of today, September 17th, it seems that the worst is over and Bitcoin is rising again. But you know what's the funniest thing about this? It's that even though the CEO of JP Morgan spent the whole week talking trash while the price of Bitcoin obviously plummeted, this week he was caught red-handed buying a bunch of shares in the James Bitcoin XV, etc.
And I think the rest is up to our judgment. I'm Salem, and if you liked the video, I invite you to... Subscribe to this new community and have a great day!
