Hello viewers, welcome to the Vistara Money Plus YouTube channel. I am Vasudev Marnad, one of the greatest investors in India. It has been two years since I met Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. So let's see what Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's investment strategies are in this video. Born in a middle-class family, he started investing in shares in 1985 with Rs 5000, but by the time he passed away at the age of 62, he was the owner of a wealth of Rs 40,000 crore.

He had founded his own airline, but he did not have the fortune of seeing planes flying in the sky for long. He died within a week of the launch of Akash Air. Your guess is right. It has been two years since the death of this protagonist, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. The famous Warren Buffett of India, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, has inspired Indians.

There are many things that need to be learned from generation to generation, that is why his investment strategies and financial theories are always remembered. Let's see what they are. Born in a Marwari family, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala had a great interest in the stock market since childhood. Jhunjhunwala, who was a chartered accountant, invested in shares in the names of himself and his wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala.

According to the trend line, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and his family have now invested in 26 stocks. They have investments in companies like Titan Company, Canara Bank, Federal Bank, Nazar Technologies, NCC, Tata Communications, Tata Motors, etc. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's investment strategies are as follows: Long-term investment Rakesh Jhunjhunwala had great faith in long-term investment.

He used to say that the stock market is a way to convert money from haste to patience. His strategy was to buy stocks, hold them for a long time, and sell them when the indices rose to make a profit. Whenever Jhunjhunwala invested in a company, he would check the management of the company. He would say, "Respect the market with an open mind and consider investment as a responsibility." Patience and discipline were his mantra.

He emphasized that people who rush into market movements and make decisions will lose money in the stock market due to emotional decisions. Learn from mistakes. If you learn from mistakes in the stock market, the path to growth will open. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala believed that failure is a part of life. If you don't fail, you won't be able to learn.

If you don't learn, you won't be able to change. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala had an amazing ability to identify stocks that were undervalued and had the potential to earn good prices in the future. He would buy such stocks for a long time, hold them for a long time, and sell them when they got a good price and make a profit.

Thus, the market insights he provides are invaluable. Retail investors and market experts listened with interest. If you look at the investors who have made huge fortunes in the stock market, if the American Waram Prophet investor or equity investor made huge money, George Soros became a trader. But what is special about Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is that he is an investor and trader.

He does trading himself. He advises retail investors not to trade without learning properly. He had Titan shares in his account for more than 20 years, even until his death. Jhunjhunwala boldly said that one can make wealth directly in the stock market. He confidently explained the bright future of the Indian stock market.

In the stock market, you either make a profit or lose something valuable, so there is no real loss here. Deep research The research he was doing behind Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's success is the role of continuous study. He does not make hasty decisions. He was not taking any money. He used to read the company's balance sheet.

He used to know about the growth of the company's sector. He was aware of all the issues of the board of directors. Since he was a chartered accountant himself, it was not difficult for him to examine the financial accounts. He was vigilantly observing the trends in the industry. He was not only an active investor and trader but also a director of many companies.

He faced a trial in the insider trading case and settled with SEBI in 2021. One of the reasons for Jhunjhunwala's interest in the stock market at a young age was his father's discussions with his friends about the happenings of the market. His father, who was an income tax officer, was curious about the stock market, so he taught his children about stock mutual funds from a young age.

While studying in college, he invested Rs 5,000 in stocks with his savings in 1985. At that time, the Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex rose by 150 points. It was around 5000 in the 80s, a huge amount. Now the Sensex has crossed the 79000 mark. In 1986, he made a huge profit of Rs 5 lakh from Tata T shares.

He bought 5000 shares of Tata T at Rs 43 per share and sold them for Rs 143. He made a profit of Rs 20 to 25 lakh between 1986 and 1989. After that, he never looked back. In 2002, he bought eight crore shares of Titan, a company of the Tata group. This gave him a huge profit. The current price of Titan shares is 3400.

When I bought it in June, it was around five rupees. The opportunities that the stock market offers to people are really amazing. If you are going to invest in real estate, you should see where the land is. It will be maintained in the future. You should go to your real estate property from time to time.

It is easy to buy shares, says Idu Jhunjhunwala. Here is an interesting fact to note. When Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was young, his father did not want him to get fully involved in the stock market. He said, "You can get a good paying job by being a chartered accountant. If you want to invest in shares, I will not give you money.

I will not support you financially. Use your savings. Don't be afraid to continue." So how did Jhunjhunwala learn the inside scoop on the market? First, Jhunjhunwala learned by thinking independently. He knew that India would follow the rules of capitalism instead of socialism. In an interview, he said that why he invested in Titan?

Not all investors have made equally good decisions, but great investors have made the best decisions in their lives by investing in any one company. For example, Warren Buffett made brilliant decisions by investing in Walt Disney and American Express, which increased his wealth significantly. Trader George Sources succeeded by taking a shot at the British pound.

Similarly, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala made a smart decision to invest in shares of watch and jewelry manufacturer Titan, which made him the Warren Buffett of India. In 2002 and 2003, Titan shares were at their lowest price. Jhunjhunwala bought a large amount of them. The flow of wealth flowed towards him. Jhunjhunwala had a perception that Titan could make good profits in the future.

It did not just come. Titan's revenue has been increasing in the last 15 years. The brand was known in the market. He was sure that the internal and external challenges of the company were only temporary. I knew that no one else could sell watches like Titan. His marketing strategies were good, says Jhunjhunwala.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala is the heir to the wealth left by his wife. He owns a fortune of Rs 48,406 crore in shares of 26 companies. He has to keep an eye on the value of the shares regularly because there can be a huge difference in four to five years. I have seen that too, he said.

Titan may be the leader in the market, but there may be fierce competition in the future, so it will have to be evaluated. Jhunjhunwala had said earlier that his family owned 473 crore shares of Titan as of June 30, 2024. Finally, if we talk about Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, he has always had immense confidence in India's economic growth.

When the whole world was shaken by the Covid crisis, of course India was shaken. Economic growth was stumbling. In such a situation, the indices in the stock market fell sharply. In such a situation, he boldly said that no one can stop India's economic growth. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala This was today 's special video.
