So, Michael Burry, this guy right here, the famous investor that predicted the 2008 housing crash, is warning that today's stock market looks very similar to the dot-com bubble before it crashed in the year 2000. Now, personally, I was following Michael Burry, this guy, sorry, sorry, I don't want to point.
Back when he was working uh on shorting the actual market, and he was him and his uh posse, let's say, was causing quite a storm, a stir, and a lot of people laughed at him. I didn't. I sold 90% of my properties, lots, uh rentals, um it I I got rid of stuff fast. Now, his concern is that stock prices may be rising too fast compared to the actual strength of the economy.
And I can say to that, amen. See, right now, many Americans are spending money and feeling financially confident because their stock portfolios have grown so much. But you see, what people don't realize is in an inflationary environment, stock market always goes up, until it doesn't. You see, at the same time, people are saving less money than normal, and that could become very dangerous if the stock market suddenly drops, especially if people are buying on margin.
So, what I want to do in this video is explain um that company earnings are actually still strong right now, which is one reason the stock market continues to move higher. However, if those earnings begin slowing down, like, let's say, because people stop buying companies' products or using their services, because they're having a hard time filling up the gas tank at the pump, well, the market could eventually correct.
You see, this is why it's so darn important to look at what's going on with Michael Burry's warnings and what's going on in the real estate market. See, the real estate market's actually been on a decline since year 2023, and the media is not reporting on it. If you look at the St. Louis Fred numbers of the median and average home prices, they've actually been on the decline.
And that's something that the media doesn't want you to know because a lot of their sponsors are either home do-it centers or home builders themselves. You see in some cities home prices and condo prices have become extremely expensive compared to local incomes. But sellers still believe their homes are worth peak pandemic prices until they're not, and sellers are beginning to capitulate.
They're lowering their prices. Buyers are starting to push back because homes are becoming so unaffordable, and they simply can't afford the payment when you add up the higher interest, the cost of the tax, the property tax, and oh, that's another thing. If you want to start looking at making real passive income, start looking at investing in tax deeds.
Just go read about it on the internet. All that information's out there for free, or you can link down below if you want the entire program from A to Z, soup to nuts. That is a massive deal. But buyers are sitting there going, "Hey, insurance costs are going up, the taxes, the interest." So they're just holding off, and sellers are capitulating.
You see, the idea that is that if the stock market falls, more homeowners may decide to sell their properties, especially if they suddenly need cash. Remember during COVID, during the pandemic, a lot of people that were in the middle to upper middle class, they actually went and bought second homes to Airbnb them, or they moved out of the area and went to remote work.
Only now they're finding they're getting called back to the office or losing their jobs. They have to sell that second home. See, right there, if they suddenly need cash, it's a big deal, and that could increase housing inventory and push home prices lower in overpriced markets. Well, right now we're already seeing home inventory expand, but that's because it's seasonally.
But as we see this number get higher and higher based off of other years, prior years, that really shows what's going on. You see, at the same time, some investors could move money out of stocks and into real estate if they believe that house are housing is safer long-term. But the fact is when you start looking at the numbers like the St.
Louis Fred, you start to see really quick that housing is not the safe haven that it was a mere handful of years ago. All right, if you want to learn about tax liens and deeds, links down below. Don't pay $50,000 for the course and coaching. I've got it all set up to where if you want the entire program and you want a year of group coaching calls twice a month.
Make sure that's right there. Sorry, I keep poking you in the face. Sorry. Sorry. Links down below. It'll cost you you'll be out of there for around 1,300 bucks for the year. That is an insane price and I need to raise it soon. All right, that being said, the Economic Ninja is out. How do you turn this thing off?
