01. Welcome everyone, this is ZooStockwatch. Today I'm going to go over some of the trades I alerted to the trade exchange service, along with some of my personal trades, and share some of my philosophy on trading.

02. The first call was AVEO. I alerted it in the room at 9:34 and also mic-alerted it. I set the alert on AVEO above $2.78 and put it in the room so folks could see it. It popped, but then it started coming back at me. My personal rule, which I try to convey, is that if you get a pop and it starts coming back, don't take more than a 5 to 10 cent hit in any early-morning stock. Since this was my first trade of the day, I took a minus 3 on it. It popped, came back at me, so I got out for a minus 3. No harm, no foul. If AVEO pops again, I'll live the trade again, but as I usually do, I moved on to the next trade.

03. The next one up was KORS. They had earnings, and the stock was very strong in the pre-market. I was watching the $44 level, and KORS worked a little for me. I tried it over $43.90, and it popped up to $44.08. I sold about half, since I think I had around 1,000 shares. Then it started coming at me, so I took a flat on the rest. That was my second trade of the day. It popped, came back, and I got out of the rest flat or with a small loss. So I took a flat on the last half of that trade. The morning was starting out kind of funky.

04. MTOR is a stock I talked about in my video last night, one I had on watch. I was watching the $19 breakout. On the daily chart, I'd shown that if it broke over $19, you might get a continuation move, and that's exactly what happened. It's nice when they work out that way. At 9:47 I put in MTOR over $19.02, before it triggered. It was mic-alerted, and up it went. It's still running, and I'm still holding some of it. It made for a very nice day.

05. So the first was a small loss, the second a little gain, then a flat. A little discouraging, but it looked like a funky trading day, with SPY a bit weak. But we keep persevering, and since we don't take big losses, we can keep trading. MTOR worked out beautifully. Next up was Fitbit (FIT). This one has been gaining momentum. On the daily chart, it took out a key level, and it was starting to turn back up. I called it in the room at 9:50 AM, over $5.86. It came back at us a little, but no harm, no foul. I just hung on because it only dipped to $5.85, so I stuck with it. We got a very nice runner, up to $6.90. It was a nice push-up. This is a two-minute chart with pre- and post-market data, and it's what I trade off of in the morning, because I like to see pre-market action. On my two-minute chart I use the 28-period exponential moving average, which can act as a guide. FIT was on my radar because GoPro has been getting some nice runs lately, and FIT was also being talked about on social media, which brought it to my attention.

06. Next up was Urban Outfitters (URBN), which had unusual options activity. We have someone who watches the options at the trade exchange, and there was some unusual call activity going on. Volume was coming into the stock, and I called it over $19.20 at 9:59 AM, right in this area. It popped, but I took a flat on this one. Usually, with options activity, if the stock is going to pop, it keeps going. It didn't, so I took a flat to a few pennies, about a nickel loss. No big deal. I like to stick to my rule: if I anticipate a stock should move up, and it should have broken over $19.25 and continued up, especially with all this volume, but it didn't, I get right out.

07. The next one I called was CLR. Oil was starting to move up again, and SPY was moving back up. This was a quick one. It popped over $33.01. I called it at $33.02, excuse me, let me fix that on the chart. So, over $33.02. $33 was a pretty important number, as you can see from the earlier action in CLR. It got over it, and we got a nice pop up to $33.15. I sold on the way up. Some people held and did better than I did. They probably got up to around $33.28, based on the messages I received. So CLR popped and I took it, but it came back at us, and some folks held on. Then it got a continuation up, because USO was moving up. I'm not sure what news drove USO, but it popped, and CLR followed.

08. My last trade came from options activity, which we also put into the service. MU had unusual options activity and popped. I'm looking at $28.95 at 10:35, mic-alerted, with a possible break of $29 as well. I put in the instruction. We got the $28.95 level because the volume was coming in, and then the $29 break. We got a slight pullback, but I was selling into $29.10 while holding my position. Fortunately, it held $29.95, and then we got a nice run up. I still have around 200 shares of MU. If it breaks $29.10, I'll get out, but for now I'm holding some.

09. SPY is currently flying, with new highs. Once it got over the $247.88 level, it popped. If you watched my morning market video I posted around 8 AM, I drew lines on SPY, and we broke over that resistance and have been pushing up the rest of the morning. Check out those morning market reports. I give valuable information: earnings that have come out, upgrades and downgrades, and so on. I find them very helpful. I usually take the SPY chart and draw the support and resistance lines I see.

10. That's the trades I called today. Good day in the markets, and it's always a blessing to have one.
