How's it going everyone? It's Sam. Bitcoin is racing up right now, bouncing perfectly off the 50week moving average. I made a video last night saying I was being a lot more aggressive as you can see here. Let me pull this up. Uh I made this video talking about how we were crashing down to the 50week moving average and I was going a lot more aggressive that I just had an order limit filled and yeah, I went and started up a long position on Bitcoin.
actually added significantly to a long position. And what do you know? We're bouncing up very quickly right now with Bitcoin passing $80,000. We'll talk about why this is happening. We'll talk about why stocks like Amazon are up 7 1/2%, Google up 4 1.5%. Um, and yet chip makers down 1.3% for Nvidia.
Uh, Apple up 6.7%. The broader market just racing up today. We'll talk about what this market means. uh what you can invest in that will most likely make you money over the coming years. If you don't mind, hit subscribe so you can see future videos just like this. Also, I I apologize. Let me just say this right up front.
Um I feel like I haven't been responding to comments much the last few days because we've been running around. So, for the first I don't know half an hour of this video. I'll make sure to respond to every comment um that you guys leave. But uh I do look at other comments too as they come in, but sometimes I don't always have time to respond to them with running around with a family.
Uh also let me know what you're drinking down below. I have a coffee here and a water. The market is racing. We have the NASDAQ up 2%. Which I feel like doesn't even represent maybe how much the market really feels like it's up today. I guess if you're heavy into semis or semis, you're not feeling it as much and those are weighted very heavily.
A lot of the pure play AI stocks are not feeling it, but a lot of the data center plays, which is what I'm invested in, are up significantly. Amazon's my largest position and it's up 7.5%. My largest individual stock position. Uh VIX down 20% here today. Oil down 8.3% just crashing. gold up three and a half percent.
Uh this is after obviously the Democrats swept, right? They they got um House, they got Senate, um they got everything and it wasn't even close. Now, this has caused a lot of liquidations in Bitcoin. You can see uh across the crypto market, we saw in the last four hours about $400 million of shorts liquidated.
Now, last night we actually saw a lot of longs liquidated because we had kind of a crash down to the 50we and then pumped right back up. So, it's almost split 50/50 between long and shorts. Um maybe more like 60/40 over the last 24 hours. But this morning, the markets are racing up. Uh I made that video talk about how I was getting a lot more aggressive because oftent times when we go back into a bull run, we'll see a move above the 50week moving average and then we'll come back down and flip it into support.
We touched it perfectly and I had a long position open there or a limit order open uh and it got filled and now what do you know we're up significantly. This position's up 23% in just a few hours. Um if you by the way if you want to start trading using leverage, check out Bidfly. There's a link down below in the link tree.
They have a special bonus right now where you can get extra money just for depositing on the platform. So when you're starting to trade, basically you have to deposit money in and you can get bonuses. I also made the argument last night that um the S&P 500 goes up typically after the midterm election.
Like uh oftentimes people sell off the market because there there's just a level of uncertainty and shortterm um people get worried about that. Longterm it doesn't matter which is why I continue to invest. I don't try to play these things by like selling out completely ahead of the midterms and then trying to buy back.
you know, like it's just better to buy quality companies and crypto when it's selling off rather than trying to sell like everyone else and buy back in right before everyone else. Um, the last 19 out of 19 times the S&P 500 is up 6 months after the midterm. Uh, so no, now it's looking like maybe 20 out of 20 times.
We'll see, I guess, in 6 months. Um, Trump tells the Financial Times the US has no immediate plans to launch launch strikes against Iran. this could be causing oil to go down. Also, Trump just said that he thinks that we lost or that that uh he lost. He said we um that they lost because of um because of the war with Iran that the normal everyday person doesn't understand why uh it is a worthwhile trade to have gas go up um to maybe decrease the likelihood of nuclear weapons um down the line.
So yeah, that that's the reason that uh I think oil's going down significantly today, 8%. Um and some people are pointing out, hey, there's a blue wave that's going to cause more money printing. Accelerated money printing leads to higher prices in Bitcoin, gold, productive land, even, you know, assets like the S&P 500, right?
Uh scarce assets or assets that produce value. More money printing, the rich get richer. they put it into assets that will produce uh value, right? Or hold value. Don't fight the money printer. Some people are also pointing out the fact that the market likes gridlock. Basically, if you know we have a Democratic House uh and Senate that or Democratic Congress just in general that uh with a Republican president, basically things don't happen.
um gridlock and that can cause people to feel much better about investing in companies when there's not, you know, sweeping legislation, right? They can pretty much just focus on their business um and not worry about political agendas. That being said, SDRC, we've been talking about it for a long time.
It is right near $100. So, you can see it actually hit 100 for the first time in months because they actually sold some Bitcoin. They were able to accumulate 16.4 Bitcoin. Now, that's not very much. U but like it's just been sitting right below this $100 mark. As I've said before, I think um someone's trying to hold this down so that MSTR can't buy more uh more Bitcoin with the shares that they're selling.
Um this is going to be really interesting though cuz it it looks like they're not doing a good job of holding it down anymore. Now, data center players are doing really well today. Amazon. I I just talked last week um when they had their earnings that I was buying them after hours. I of course, you know, hindsight being 2020, I wish I had bought even more, but I bought some after hours and the next day because I thought their earnings were actually quite good.
And what do you know? They went from 220, now they're up to 270 once again, nearly up 20% in the last week. And it seems like everyone's uh opinion on them has switched from bearish to bullish in just a week. Now some people might be confused like why are Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft why are they up uh I guess exclude Meta why are Amazon, Microsoft and um Google up today so significantly and I I think there's maybe one major thing that happened last night explains it.
Um Texas now is Democrat. Uh the governor is a Democrat. I think I heard that that was the first time in 20 plus years and they are trying to stop data center builds. A lot of states are. So with that happening, there are various ways you could look at it. I personally think that's worse for Amazon and Google um because I'd like them to, you know, from their business perspective, like I'd like them to keep on building data centers because they see good returns, but the market really does not reward them spending money right now.
they don't like the heavy capex. So, this might mean that they have to slow down the capex and then you'll see a lot more free cash flow. You'll see a lot more net income. You'll maybe see stock buybacks. So, you you'll see less debt, less bond issuance. So, uh I think that's why the market's rewarding these companies today.
Uh it could also be rewarding them because that means that what they've already built is even more valuable, right? Um the market is not like Nvidia. uh after this, right? Or like some of the pure plays, um Micron, these types of companies because this means that they might be hampered, right? They might not be able to sell as much.
Uh AMD was actually up, I think they had, was it earnings yesterday. Uh yeah, they were up earlier, now they're down 5 12% throughout the day. Um again, they just can't sell as many chips if there aren't as many data centers. One of the many reasons I said that I've been buying these types of companies, Google, Amazon, Meta, um, Microsoft, I think these are the really high quality companies that aren't just pure plays on selling more chips that will actually be the end beneficiaries of all this AI spend.
Not just, you know, taking advantage of it for the next 2 or 3 years, but decades into the future. Of course, there are going to be players like I think Nvidia that do really well over time. But, um, yeah, these companies I think will be the big winners, the ones that are buying the, you know, buying some of the chips, creating the infrastructure, that kind of thing.
Now, um, it'll be interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks um, and, you know, few months. It'll be interesting to see if this green continues or if it's just like a gut reaction. Overall, I'm quite bullish on the markets. I continue to put more money into them every single month and I just even got more aggressive with my levered long positions on Bitcoin.
Let me know your thoughts. Again, uh I will respond to comments for the first half an hour here or so. Uh and I'll keep on looking throughout the the day as well, but um I want to make sure I get to all those. And then also if you do want to trade, check out Bidfi underneath the video in the link tree.
