Did you know that IFIN (Foreign Institutional Investors) have been selling the stocks they've held for the past three months, yet they still hold $800 billion worth of shares? It's crucial to understand why this market slows down for two reasons. The first is when investors sell most of their held shares.
The second is when new investors don't buy shares due to market uncertainty, meaning fewer buyers are buying. Considering today's international political situation, many people are saying the market is falling, perhaps because of the China and T&A factors. But my mentor, Sir Vijay Kedia, says the opposite: "Too much analysis leads to paralysis and no effect in the long term." According to him, the market has been declining for the past three months.
This will end in two or three months. This is a huge lesson for investors who have entered the market in the past three or four months, because they can draw a great deal of motivation from this. It's a golden opportunity. Opportunity to learn how the market will always move in one direction, it will only rise and will not fall.
This cannot be a rule. Those who have ups and downs also have downs, so these ups and downs are just a phenomenon or characteristic or character of the market. If someone goes through this, then it becomes easier for them to learn when will I enter the market and when will I exit. According to Sir Vijay Kedia, this is a cycle of the market.
What kind of cycle? Bull market creates foolish investors. Foolish investors create bear market. Then bear market creates smart investors. Finally, smart investors create bull market again. Bull market creates foolish investors. This is a cycle. You will have to go through this cycle. Many people keep asking Sir in his interviews and speeches, Sir, one thing is, which sector has a chance of growing right now?
Sir says, I am searching because I do not have any money to invest at this time. I have invested all my money. So, in my view, the sectors which I can see having some opportunity in the coming days are airlines or So electrical vehicles or telecom equipments etc., etc., these are still sunrise sectors.
In the coming 10 years, these airlines, telecommunication equipments, electrical vehicles as well as PSU banks can do very well. So what should you do? You have to stay connected with it all the time. How can you listen to the interviews of the management of the companies, watch the commentary on them and keep doing your analysis.
Long term long term, so how much time is this long term? At least 5 years. Forget about stocks for 5 years. And after that, you have to do three things. Do those three things. What are those things? Do not invest by looking at the index. Index means Nifty, Sensex, small cap, mid cap etc., because shares vary from share to share.
Suppose Sensex is falling but the shares kept with you are rising, this can also happen. Therefore, first, do not look at the index. Second, look at the companies and buy their shares. In the list of companies, the companies which have this pattern, their price, price, price, meaning which one Look at the current share price and then pick the cheapest one and monitor the company's growth.
You have to do these three things, nothing else, but you will have to devote time to this. You won't be able to do this after listening to me. You will have to sit with patience. So, these three rules are simple. Look at individual companies, invest, compare them and look at their growth. Your investment horizon means the time limit is at least 5 years.
In these 5 years, no matter how much the market falls or rises, it has nothing to do with you so that you are safe. So instead of doing this, what do we do? We move towards trading. Sir's first thought on this subject, Sir Vijay Kedia expresses his thoughts through poems, meaning he himself writes poetry.
So, Sir is saying in this, I am a trader, friends, it is very difficult to earn. Whatever I earn in a year, I lose that much in a single day's crash. Don't ask about my condition, it is very difficult to earn. I am a trader, friends, it is very difficult to earn. We spend our entire lives thinking about things.
Sir, we're gaining that knowledge in so many lines, yet we don't stop. We keep trading and losing money. Finally, I'll end this discussion with a poem by Sir. That is, shouldn't anyone understand why you keep growing and falling? Why do % of people lose money? When you think deeply, you'll understand this.
Only those who have already started earning earn money. 90% of people couldn't settle down. Open your eyes, brother. Think a little. If these two lines of the poem properly sink into your mind, you will be able to become a successful investor in the stock market. Why am I speaking to you?
