days or a little bit wild and reckless back over here but ever since this gap on the eleven things have started to slowly come back to life pretty interesting day normally I lose on inside day candles but it is earnings season and there are an abundance of deliciously delightful earnings out there and speaking of the SP why for those who have shares this cover call at 3:06 for November has already lost a decent amount of this value and we're looking at buying that back relatively soon other than that on the broader market at this gap will fill the one that came in on 10th to the 11th go ahead and write that down it'll fill questions just win and this move that's happening right now looks very similar to right here I mean there's a lot of similarities so yeah we could go a little bit higher make a new high and then fill the gap we can fill the gap next week or later this week I'm not entirely sure but the gap will fill and overall I'm so bullish on the market I know it sounds crazy but the trend is your friends and right now the trend is not broken at least not yet so that's really all I do to look at the trends is just you know look at the trend I don't really read much more into that let's talk some stocks that were requested didn't have a time but I didn't have some I didn't have a few square on that list example sq and square just hanging out trading sideways inside a candle today but I do like the breakout that happened yesterday and again I do still think this gap right here will fill on square just a matter of time most people who are in square has a longer term put sales or some share ownership and it's kind of doing cover calls being patient and buying their time Netflix come out with earnings tonight so here's my thoughts on Netflix I'm really interested to see what it does I'm kind of hoping that the gaps in one direction or another and most likely it will but I don't think a gap towns gonna be that bearish unless open to two 63 it opens a 263 we might go to get a sell-off down to 240 but this long 215 put will pretty much be worthless unless Netflix just hemorrhages and gaps down like 230 or something the that puts it that long put those more or less being paid for by this short put the December 180 put sale so 180 is a hundred dollars away on Netflix for December so it's pretty far away and then of course this bull call spread there's pretty much if Netflix decides a gap up a little bit and I don't know if it's going to but this is a very nice consolidation so if we do get a gap up on Netflix you best believe that it can run a little bit so I keep it a real close eye on Netflix for shout here is Apple and Apple of course at an all-time high not buying up here in fact the traders who are an Apple or selling covered calls they're locking in share ownership of selling some shares getting into caller strategies this is not a spot to buy Apple it's just all time I really looks beautiful gorgeous breakout the trade is bullish unequivocally and buy the dip right Apple you know the trend right now it looks really nice and things are hanging out let me talk through this Tesla trade that I played today I played one really terrible trade and then one really good trade on Tesla so we'll talk about it and a lot of traders have always been wondering you know kind of when do you do what I did today on Tesla and I'll kind of walk you through it so number one I did go bullish on Tesla today which does look kind of stupid right massive massive bullish move strong strongly taking out the high this candles like I mean how much hires are gonna go I would love Tesla the pullback to like to 40-ish we'll see what it does on earnings but this is a very nice double bottom and I am looking for bull trades on Tesla from here but here's the 5-minute trades I'm just kind of walk you through the trades to kind of give you the step-by-step play-by-play if you will so as you can kind of know when to or at least practice when a good time is to consider doing what we did on Tesla in the morning-room so first and foremost here's the trade setup big bearish volumes you can see the big massive bearish volume right there on Tesla big bearish volume came in and that was at 10:25 central 1125 Eastern big bearish volume Morningstar reversal hi hi this candles 260 140 high of this candle 261 40 didn't even know the bearish candle do you have another bearish candle so my thought was okay if we break out the high of this we could run and test I could just keep on going because the trend is bullish you can see the volume bullish find bullish down here gorgeous s-curve look at this s-curve Angela made four R's on Tesla today playing that bullish traits that I've just really nice probably just bought the pullback into here stop was down here somewhere and just sold it would have made a new high so great job Angela anyway my plan was I wonder if Tesla will continue so I said that trade up another bearish candle game look at the volume nice volume so it was looking at getting in bullish here at 260 140 and then bang now I won't trigger me in so look at the volume increase while an increase was great candle looks nice the challenge was on the daily chart Tesla was very extended so we just talked about that so much bullishness in a row and the very next candle that came in why was sorry this is a five-minute chart a a little bit of an inside candle so it's like maybe has a shot maybe it has a shot he's looking up a double bottom his Tesla gonna bounce its Telsa gonna bounce new so that candle was the one I was like okay most likely if it starts breaking down I'm gonna be wrong and that can okay min and then the I can okay min and I got stopped out so hit that was a trade so the thing is if I'm ever flipping on a position if I am immediately wrong it normally helps for me to flip so I was immediately wrong on this trade and I lost got stopped out and it's okay now to kind of give you like the play-by-play this was again we just do so many updates on all our trades so that everyone else what's going on right here was at 10:54 a.m.
is the central time there's the set up and I didn't work right it got stopped out okay guys we're gonna flip stop down on Tesla flipping on Tesla so here's the flip bearish 259 at 75 by 260 95 all right that was step one waited some more still no fill on Tesla just waiting these are Brad's updates on a micron bearish trailer a few people are in and then changing my Tesla day trade 12:30 to Central and here it was right guy this is a really nice bullish candle here really nice bullish candle there this was a shaved bottom candle both of these candles are the exact same low so check that out so bang bang bang bang just keep trading over here so this candle and discount both of those are the exact same low well that's interesting so if we take out the lows of those two candles one would imagine that it would probably go a little bit lower so this camera comes in this camera comes in and get triggered in I cam comes in breaks down close below the support close as well lower shadows and there it is that was the flip so kind of like a little bit of a diagnostic on if I'm getting into a trade I'm gonna go the opposite direction it's normally if I'm wrong immediately work day one of the gaps of the day very nice phenomenal bearish gap and Gil again ladies and gent owning season is here so if you need practice even though this actually was not an earnings gap but if you want practice spotting gap and goes this is one of them and you'd have to been very very aggressive on this trade we were so shout out to Joe Sidoti and I'm Glau and Joel fuel the traders playing this one I'm a kind of scroot scroll Scroll scroll this was it so four minutes into market open right before market opened I said a bearish gap on work day waiting for some buying on the 1-minute chart because again it was such a strong bullish trap bearish gap down that one some one minute come in and looking back at it I still played it too conservatively I should have put a stop like right here to sixty-five thirty three thirty sixty cents low or something but anyway waited for this candle to come in this was the setup right there Barry stop limit one sixty to ninety one by one sixty five ninety one one 57:13 it was the target and that was pretty much it on work day so I ended up trailing out of that one four point four seven did set my stop a little too aggressively got stopped out by some pennies and then she eventually rolled down could have been much much better but you know you can't complain too hard about making money by pressing buttons anyway great gap there and some really fun stuff transpiring out there at the markets my friends so stay thirsty stay hungry eat and drink the markets because the next few weeks they're gonna be all kinds of great opportunities for us as day traders and active traders in the markets to snag some games and enrich our lives I will see you all on Friday for a trade review and until then love life live life and trade it
