01. hey everyone and welcome there is one thing that I like to do on my channel and thus sharing the best dividend stocks that I can find today we're gonna talk about two amazing dividend growth stocks that I think you're going to absolutely love so let's not waste any time and Jump Right In the first stock on my list is innovative industrial properties which trade under the symbol iipr you may have heard of them over the last couple of years because they were possibly the most hyped up rate on the US market the funny thing here is that people were lining up to buy them when the price was almost 300 yet nobody wants to touch them now when they're trading at about 89 personally I think they're a very good bargain right now and here is why first of all in case you're not familiar with Innovative industrial properties they focus on the American cannabis sector iipr acquires owns and manages specialized properties which they lead to experienced state license operators for their regulated medical use cannabis facilities it is is a new growing field in the U.S and iipr is a good way to bet on it the American cannabis sector is projected to show a double-digit annual growth over the next few years despite the problematic economic conditions so that is one reason why I am long-term bullish on iipr second of all iipr is one of the rates with the smallest Deputy Equity ratios on the market with only 306 million dollars of unsecured debt versus 2.6 billion in total gross assets since iipr's debt does not mature until 2026 the company should be relatively protected from the recent hikes in interest rates iipr does have an investment grade credit rating of Triple B positive which is not the best one but it is okay for the rate market and the time being the third reason why I am bullish on this dividend stock is that they have a very strong dividend yield very strong they currently have a dividend yield of just under 8 compared to the 4.5 percent sector median their dividend is also expected to grow annually by 13.8 percent over the next couple of years compared to the sector median of 4.1 percent so it's not hard to see how much of a compounding power this dividend stock has the best thing about this dividend is that it is sustainable and this is my bullish reason number four Innovative industrial properties are expecting a 19 compounded annual growth in ffo over the next few years compared to the industries five percent the same thing applies to their revenue with an expected annual growth of 35.3 percent compared to the industry's 9.5 percent add all of these to the fact that iipr is currently trading at its lowest level since the start of covet and you get a very attractive investment opportunity obviously there are some caveats iipr recently had a tenant problem with King's Garden and vertical which amounted for three percent of their rent for the first nine months of 2022 and this is probably only the reason why iipr has taken a bit of a hit in terms of stock price plus the American cannabis industry is still very young so nobody really knows how it will progress during the likely economic slowdown over the next one or two years however I think that the risk rewards ratio here is very attractive like I said the all-time high for the iipr stock was at around 300 dollars and they are currently trading at about 89 which is a roughly 70 drop plus it looks like the stock has established a bottom at around 90 doors although the lowest support I can see is at about 68 doors honestly stocks like this one really remind me of what Peter Lynch said about the.com boom you had all these Hot Shot tech stocks that had Sky High valuations during the boom then they dropped so much once the hype went away that they literally became value stocks I think we are seeing the exact same thing here and I will be loading my bags over the next couple of weeks again I want to stress that this is definitely not a safe bet the stock price may drop further down to as low as 68 dollars the sentiment is really low right now and investors seem to be a bit scared of entering the stock but like Warren Buffett says be greedy when others are fearful the payout here could be big over the long term maybe one two or three years ahead and you could also be bagging a very high dividend yield which grows way faster than the rest of the industry finally iipr will be releasing their earnings after market close on the 27th of February so Mark the date keep an eye on the news and keep an eye on the stock price the second stock we are looking at today is broadcom which trade under the symbol avgo for those of you who are not familiar with the company it designs develops and supplies semiconductor and infrastructure software Solutions worldwide it really is a massive company with a market cap of 254 billion dollars revenue of 33.2 million and net income of 11.5 billion over the last year you may be thinking massive companies like broadcom are slow Growers lazy dividend payers and so on but that's not actually the case here broadcom's EPS is expected to grow annually at about 12.5 percent over the next three to five years which is roughly the same as the median for the IIT sector of 13 given its forward adjusted PE ratio of 14.9 this gives us a PEG ratio of 1.19 which is lower than the sector median of 1.66 the good thing about the growing earnings is that also gives broadcom the chance to grow its dividend broadcom currently pay a three percent forward dividend yield compared to the sector median of 1.7 and that's expected to grow by about 10.6 percent annually over the next few years while the sector's median dividend growth is expected to be only around 8.3 percent obviously above average dividend yield and above average dividend growth can be a very very powerful combination so broadcom gets a lot of bonus points in my personal ranking broadcom also runs an extremely profitable business the margins here are honestly amazing the gross margin is 75.1 percent compared to the sector median of 48.9 percent in broadcom's five-year average of 70.9 percent delivered free cash flow margin is 38.9 compared to the sector median of 6.8 percent it has gone down a bit though since broadcom's five-year average is 43.1 percent but it is still incredibly high for the sector the same thing can be said for the net income margin of 34.6 percent compared to the sector median of 3 percent and their five-year average of 26.4 percent it is pretty easy to see the bullish case for the broadcom stock here the business is probably one of the most profitable I've ever seen the cool thing about profitability is that it translates into dividend safety too in 2022 broadcom paid 7 billion in dividends on a leveraged free cash flow of 14 billion which covers the dividend exactly twice broadcom is very healthy in terms of finances too they have 12.4 billion in cash which unfortunately does not cover their long-term debt of 39 billion dollars but thus put them in a very safe position for some reason their credit rating is not amazing either it is investment grade but it is towards the lower end as it currently stands a triple B negative with a stable Outlook I am not sure what is the exact reasoning behind that since their dividend payout ratio is only 44.9 percent with the five-year average being 46.8 percent I guess it is higher than the sector median of 26.7 percent but it is still sustainable plus the earnings expectations consensus for broadcom keep Rising which is typically a very good sign analysts are a bit mixed but the majority have done upward revisions for broadcom's 20 23 earnings and revenue overall I'm feeling very bullish on broadcom given everything we have looked at so far however there are some caveats one of them is the fact that broadcom are currently trying to acquire VMware I'm not a mergers and Acquisitions expert but it does seem like the deal can be very beneficial for broadcom unfortunately the deal is being scrutinized by antitrust Regulators in the US UK Europe and China and it is looking increasingly likely that the deal May Fail the big question here is whether the deal failing has been factored into the unlist expectations that we have just looked at if it hasn't been and the deal is shut down then we may see a big adjustment in expected revenue and earnings in all fairness it really shouldn't be that big of an adjustment seeing as VMware only had net income of 1.4 billion over the last 12 months but again I am not an expert in mergers and Acquisitions the second big caveat with broadcom is that apple is looking to replace some or all of the broadcom Wi-Fi Bluetooth RF chips that it uses by 2025 with chips Apple crates in-house the reason why this is problematic is very simple apple accounts for 20 of broadcom's Revenue or about 7 billion dollars reducing that would inflict a massive hit on broadcom's top and bottom lines which can honestly be a massive issue for broadcom the good thing here is that there are some speculations floating around that apple is simply using this to get a better deal out to broadcom since their current supplier agreements ends in the middle of this year ironically when these agreements were signed in 2019 and 2020 Apple had the intention of moving away from broadcom in 2023 now they've stated 2025 so who knows the other thing is that the switch won't happen for another two years and a lot can happen in that time frame plus Apple had similar intentions with replacing qualcomm's chips back in 2019 and four years later they still haven't really managed to do that so so I'm not sure how much I trust Apple over this one basically given everything that we've talked about so far broadcom seems like a great bit to me the only thing that is bugging me here is the valuation broadcom was trading at a very very good price during October when the price hit a low of 427 dollars but it has come up by 40 since then and now trades at 608 dollars generally speaking broadcom is trading slightly above its five-year average when it comes to virtually always valuation ratios so I don't think we're actually getting the best deal right now naturally this begs the question is it worth buying broadcom today or should we wait for a better price now every single financial advisor will tell you that you should avoid timing the market and I tend to agree however the stock is obviously priced relatively high so I want to spread out my purchases unlike iipr which I think is at a great price right now and is worth committing to I will start building a position in broadcom slowly over the next few months given that broadcom's next earnings call is on the 2nd of March it may actually be worth waiting until then before starting to build the position broadcom has gone up by 16 since their last earnings go in December so there may be some positive expectations baked into the price so make sure to monitor the news over the next few weeks so that's it from me for today Innovative industrial properties and broadcom are two very strong stocks in my opinion and I think they definitely deserve some attention I hope you liked the video please leave a like if you did leave a comment share it with your friends and so on thank you for watching and I will talk to you again soon
