let's get a check on what's playing out um in the crypto Market we know it was pure red uh yesterday on the board but that has changed um today we see it's uh more of a green uh scene there we have in the market um right there with xrp also deeply um in the green Bitcoin 4.86% after revisiting 90 about $91,000 if you look at the chart it did fall um below 90,000 you know at some point tested $889,000 but uh we see Bitcoin back up again 4.86 uh% seemed like some kind of um double bottom was forming on the one day chart if you check that out xrp 2 um $258 5.77% up deep green xrp again might be starting its own um rally with um cardano um also dropping below $1 and trying to get back above that let's look at the sentiment in the market now how investors are feel feeling uh yeah they're they're feeling greedy again it got to about it was got to neutral um yesterday that was according to coin market cap but we see coin 36 there giving us greed now 63 points and that's uh for how investors are feeling in the market let's look at some headlines now we see tether is the Ming a move to El Salvador you know that stable coin you hear about a lot in the crypto Market that's the company behind that cryptocurrency so they're planning to relocate it headquarters is from uh British Virgin Islands to El Salvador with the aim of leveraging the country's crypto-friendly environment then we also seen Black Rock they're buying Bitcoin uh but Fidelity they're selling you know at this point doing going on the opposite um direction we see black rock revealed they purchased 318 um Bitcoin is US sport Bitcoin um exchange traded funds that hit the one year um high after being approved and launched fidelity um also sold about 1,210 Bitcoins from its Fidelity physical Bitcoin ETP so we're seeing um both um doing different things right now um in the market that might be driving sentiment um from what we're seeing in the market uh with Bitcoin recovering from about sub $90 $90,000 such about $889,000 let's bring in room now Financial Market analyst hello room good afternoon l Happy New Year to you happy New Year R so we're seeing um Bitcoin revisiting some lows you know some would say you know 90k is definitely a high you know at this point 880,000 is also a high but it cannot go up forever so it's visited $889,000 but we're seeing a big bounce um in the market is it Bitcoin just playing you know with the chart just following what the chart is saying at this point all right because uh a lot of things are happen in the markets uh I think uh a couple of persons are doing profit taking a couple of persons are actually are reconsidering their portfolio considering what is happening in the United States economy and also you can see that the dollar is gaining a stronger dollar is actually it was in 109 right about now and uh as as the fact that the new US president is coming we don't know if the dollar is going to move up uh but if the dollar uh goes down suffs a bit we're going to see most times Bitcoin go but when the dollar is strengthened uh people actually don't look at risk on asset like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies so uh a lot of data going to come up this um this week CPI is going to be tomorrow and I think PPI today and a couple of uh earnings are going to be coming up so the market is Forward Thinking and with that it's already suggesting that uh we might see some Downs uh for now probably uh towards the end of the year again or maybe when their favorable signals things are going to go up but again a lot of persons are actually anticipating 20th of January but the truth is that we already know that Donald Trump won the election and Donald Trump is going to be inaugurated so for some person actually saying that uh uh 28th of January we're going to see the market move up um that is not really a very strong uh way to speculate the market uh sometimes it goes down and when uh it uh there's a buying pressure it goes up again right so I guess you're not expecting any H move from Bitcoin on the day of inauguration that's priced in according to you exactly the truth is we might just see some B said the news kind of thing we have exhausted the the Donald Trump news from when the the possibility on poing Market was bet where the bet came up that he most likely till his eventual winning Landslide right at some point some felt like there could be some uh some tires point then he eventually but he won Landslide so the market responded to that from there to now we also saw the ETFs where Market moves from about 50 something to 8,000 this is Bitcoin in years past that was selling for less than a dollar you know so we have exhausted that and uh at some point it has to take a breather then we can see possible movement again when institutional funds start to come in we already seeing uh the the ETFs uh outflows gradually but uh my ta signal is the ETF and also micro strategy he's buying a big ball a couple of time not as he used to buy so you'll see that the the the interest before now compared to what was before is a bit dropping so but retailers are not looking at that they always think that the market will always go up and up and up and it doesn't work like that here right well we've seen headlines fled with micro strategy uh buying 5,000 Bitcoin 6,000 Bitcoins but I I guess at some point that has to slow down and we're hearing um Jamie Diamond there uh JP Morgan CEO saying uh Bitcoin is just for criminals at this point that's his latest statement I'm I'm kind of uh I'm kind of embarrassed pass uh by the biggest the CEO of the biggest bank in the United States saying that Bitcoin is uh uh money for uh traffickers money launderers and um also rans somewhere uh it's quite embarrassing because uh we have seen how Bitcoin has actually changed uh the digital way of of of of value transfer and we have also seen that the Bitcoin blockchain is most transparent like it is much more transparent compared to cash we've seen the situation where by law enforcement agents all around the world tracking proceeds of crime uh from with uh Bitcoin or cryptocurrency analytic uh companies to where they are and at the end of the day apprehending most of them you know but in in the case of cash we have not seen cash is the most used uh currency to to commit crime all over the world and we have seen the situation here even in our CLI Nigeria where the economic and financial crimes commission have actually applied those tools being used in uh all around the world in the globe to track illicit transactions you can actually track illicit transactions the Bitcoin blockchain is open for everyone to see transactions you can go to the Bitcoin Explorer and you see all the movement in transactions so for him saying this if you ask me it could be a way to distract to put smoke screen uh for people to have this doubt about Bitcoin then the institutions or maybe his bank stylishly accumulating but if you tell me that son has as as popular as an intelligent uh as JP jond the CEO of JP Morgans to be saying something like this it only suggests that it's either is deliberate or he's trying to pretend that he has zero knowledge of what Bitcoin has actually proved to the world to be a seamless and transparent means of transaction which I even think that uh governments around the world are already looking because you can track ilc transaction that we're seeing people moving money politicians around stealing money and all of that that can be that can be actually handled well by by the the blockchain maybe at some point we'll see the the full use case of Bitcoin you know when it comes to that uh public Ledger and the blockchain technology you know and that but it seems you guys might find it really difficult to convince you know Jamie Diamond um otherwise but thank you so much R always great having your perspective thank you thank thank you very
