01. hey guys welcome back to the channel today we're going to talk about five investment tips from Charlie Munger and as we go into his Charlie Munger's portfolio here you'll be able to see that he he's only invested in about six companies one of them being Berkshire Hathaway Costco Wells Fargo and Bank of America you guys and I think the other one small portion over there is US banks you guys here you see a very non diverse portfolio okay and it just goes to show how easy and best thing can be you guys okay a lot of people try to make this complicated it's really not that complicated you guys so here are as we as I share these slides with you I want you guys to grasp the information that I'm trying to give to you guys here okay big money is not the buying the big money is not in the buying and the selling put in the waiting okay very clearly you guys okay so as you wait for your money to compound okay that's how that you're able to make a fortune you guys how much can you make if you invest twenty thousand dollars today well guys if you can look at the current principal here twenty thousand dollars invested today I can add up to one point six million dollars all the way at the bottom okay guys and the way you do this is by simply of course having the current principal which is twenty thousand dollars annual edition of ten thousand dollars or every year you have ten thousand dollars to those twenty thousand dollars for 20 years I'm 50/50 percent interest rate guys your money will be worth one point six billion dollars okay very very basic mathematics very easy thing to do you guys okay there's a lot of people out there that don't have a real plan but here we're gonna work on your plan and help you gather all this information that you need so that you can be a successful investor okay guys you need a different checklist okay you need different checks lives you need different mental models for different companies okay so very clear there you go very clearly he states the you need mental models and you need if you need good mental models and you need a checklist for you for your for the companies that you're going to choose okay so here I created a small checklist that you can use as a basis for your future financial investment okay so is the stock undervalued does it have real competitive advantage does it have reputable management and does the company have any cash okay guys all these things are very important okay these things are some of the most important questions you are having your checklist and there's many more very important questions that should be added on to this list that's just a few of them for you to start off with and then grow your list as you become a more seasoned investor okay okay it is remarkable how much long-term advantage people like us have gotten by trying to be consistently not stupid instead of trying to be very intelligent okay so there you go just goes to show that you're not you you don't have to be super intelligent to to be a very good investor you guys compound interest here we have on the right Albert Einstein okay compound interest is the greatest invention the world has ever produced okay and you guys just have to learn to understand that compound interest is the greatest invention the world has ever produced okay because it's just your money accumulating and compounding over the years now you will be surprised like Charlie and Warren Buffett I said before you will be surprised what just sitting waiting for it for your money to grow how easy it can be okay acquire worldly wisdom and adjust your behavior accordingly if your new behavior gives you a temporary unpopularity with your peer group then - the hell with them okay so just basically follow your own intuition if it feels right then it's probably right okay so here on the bottom you guys we have a different scenario but almost the same okay let's say you don't want to wait twenty years let's say you you're willing to wait ten years well if you invest twenty thousand dollars today with an annual addition of ten thousand dollars every year for the next ten years you guys would an interest rate of 20 percent you're looking at about half a million dollars you guys okay so very very valuable information here that I'm sharing with you guys if you just if you guys are just able to grasp this information okay so what that being said here I wanted to share a little bonus with you guys Bill Gates owns 50% of his of his portfolio is is is in Berkshire Hathaway okay another one is in waste management the other one is in Walmart caterpillar FedEx UPS and other small companies that I can't see through this graph right now but I just wanted to throw this in there for you guys so you guys can have an idea of how investing is really not that complicated okay it's really simple but you have to work on it every day okay that that's the only thing and that's the thing that holds most people back so go ahead and hit the like and subscribe button subscribe you guys I will have more information more valuable information we'll get more into detail into these companies and what the future holds for these companies and I just hope that you enjoy the video you guys think you're late you
