01. they're lying to you about crypto period. Bitcoin, this is Morgan Stanley CEO James Gorman. You've made a lot of news. This is Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, now known as your ETH token daddy. What's the bottom line? I could care less about Bitcoin. I don't know why I said anything about it. And this is Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JP Morgan. That sounds the F... Bitcoin hit a new high today. I could care less. Bitcoin trades for how it trades, why it trades, who trades it. If you're stupid enough to buy it, you'll pay the price for it one day.

02. I've also told people that it can trade at $100,000 before it trades to zero. So tulip bulbs traded for $75,000 or something like that. The only value of a Bitcoin is what the other guy will pay for it. And honestly, I think there's a good chance that a lot of the buyers out there are jazzing it up every day so that maybe you'll buy it too and take them out. If you think crypto volatility is bad, you should see the spread on this guy's Bitcoin opinions over the years.

03. Jamie Dimon's lying to you. In fact, almost everyone in TradFi has been lying to you for over 10 years, and you won't believe the lengths they will go to in order to use you as exit liquidity. So let's track Jamie's comments over the years to see what JP Morgan was really up to when he was telling you to stay away from Bitcoin, while he and his crypto squad gobbled up Bitcoin.

04. His first comments about Bitcoin come from 2014, his trip to Davos, Switzerland, in January for the World Economic Forum, or WEF. As you'll see, there's been an effort to scrub the internet of Dimon's comments. The question isn't whether we accept it. The question is, do we even participate in, or people who facilitate, Bitcoin? It's a terrible store of value. It could be replicated over and over. It doesn't have the standing of a government. And honestly, a lot of what I've read from you guys, a lot of it's been used for illicit purposes, and the people are going to eventually really get upset with it. It will be governments, you know. Governments put a huge amount of pressure on banks, so to know who your client is, anti-money laundering, is it being used for legal purposes? Did you do real reviews of that? Well, obviously it's almost impossible to do with something like that. So they will eventually be made to follow the same standards as all these other payment systems. That will probably be the end of them.

05. These are his first comments about Bitcoin, so negative. Even earlier in this interview, speaking of negativity, Dimon had to address JP Morgan hiring the kids of Chinese officials in order to win Chinese business. Didn't yet, but holy smokes. We wouldn't dare associate with Bitcoin. CCP spies? We're all in Bitcoin? Nah, I'm a pass. But wait a second, here I just found an article from the same date that says Jamie Dimon is not a Bitcoin fan, despite JP Morgan filing a patent for a similar payment system. JP Morgan chief says virtual currency faces major regulatory hurdles. Okay, but those quotes must have been taken from a video, right? Oh wow, the video is removed. Sad. It's almost like it was erased, almost like Jamie Dimon doesn't want you to know that he was behind the scenes already preparing to manipulate crypto.

06. You have to understand, these bankers were terrified of crypto at first, and Dimon was no different. He had to find a way to get in on the inside with Bitcoin, and he found a way. He did. Even in 2014, speaking of the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Wall Street pro said virtual currency is a terrible store of money and questioned its legal status over allegations that it is used to fund illegal activities. "It doesn't have the standing of a government," Dimon told CNBC. "And honestly, a lot of what I read from you guys, a lot of it is being used for illicit purposes." His comments came after the bank filed a US patent application for a computerized payment system, which would allow users to make anonymous transactions similar to cryptocurrency.

07. This got me thinking, maybe there was more hiding somewhere. Then I found this 2015 article, but the snippet on Google was showing text that wasn't on the page. So I started digging in the Wayback Machine, and CoinDesk had scrubbed that article too. Here's the real one. So I dug a little more, clicked the link on the original page that was missing from the original article, and boom, nothing. Page not found. Interesting. So I threw this page into the Wayback Machine, and boom, there you go. A video of Jamie Dimon putting his foot in his mouth about Bitcoin again. Or is it more like making it look like he's doing that, when in reality he was once again making moves behind the scenes?

08. In fact, this time Jamie knew his TradFi buddies, like Larry Fink, were coming to crypto, but once again the video is scrubbed. Why, I don't know. Maybe I found a copy of it somewhere. Let's check it out and see what he may have said, and why they're doing the scrubbing. There's no government that's going to put up with it for long. It's kind of cute, now you know. A lot of the senators and Congress say, "I support Silicon Valley innovation." There will be no currency that gets around government controls. Anybody here want to take the opposite view? The technology will be used. It may be used to transport currency, but it will be US dollars, but digital. The right digital currency will be stopped. Yes, a virtual currency, where it's called a Bitcoin, as opposed to a US dollar. These things may be very well for cheap transfers of money. You see, he just can't help speaking out of both sides of his mouth. Jamie Dimon's words are almost always far different than the moves his bank is making. What does that tell you?

09. So let's go back to the video clip we showed in the beginning, because I wanted to look a little deeper at the date of this original clip: October 13, 2017. Now check out this epic backtrack only a few months later by Jamie, obviously. "Let me ask you about Bitcoin, because that was another famous comment you made, that it's a fraud." "Now we see, which I regret making. The blockchain is real. You can have crypto, dollars, and yen, and stuff like that. ICOs, you've got to look at everyone individually. Bitcoin was always, to me, what the governments are going to feel about Bitcoin. It gets really big, and I just have a different opinion." "Other people, I'm not interested that much in the subject at all." It's almost like someone made him apologize. Maybe I know who that person is, the senior. But the fact is, Dimon is always telling you the opposite of reality, on purpose, the same way poker player Tom Dwan will lie to you about his poker hand to win.

10. Now, Tom will also lie to you in real life to try to backstab you. But that's what those people do for money laundering. And true story, Tom blundered money for crypto exchanges and Brian Evans, but that's another story for another day. Jamie Dimon is the Texas Dolly of crypto holdings. He keeps his cards close to the vest and only shows you the ones he wants to. But even before Dimon made those comments, Blockchain Tower CEO Ari Paul made this video, and I think it's the best response to Dimon ever. He calls him out. Check it. "This is why I think Jamie Dimon called Bitcoin a fraud. A lot of the financial luminaries, people like Seth Klarman, Warren Buffett, Howard Marks, have expressed their skepticism, and most frame it like saying they don't think McDonald's can compete with fine French dining, which is to say they don't really address what cryptocurrency is trying to be. They say cryptocurrency is really bad at being PayPal or Visa, and they're right, that's really not what it's good at. So most of the financial luminaries, I think, genuinely don't understand what it's trying to be. Jamie Dimon's an exception. By all accounts, I know people who spoke to him about cryptocurrency four years ago, before I was really in the space. He gets it. He understands it, probably better than me, and he views it, I think, as a branded competitor to JP Morgan. So he understands that JP Morgan collects a lot of fees for providing a storage of wealth in a secure way that's judgment-resistant to clients, and Bitcoin does an order of magnitude better."

11. So here is the point of this video: look at TradFi behavior clues, but remember, they're never going to give you the accurate picture for that. You have to truly dig and scour and work tirelessly. No, that's not actually true. All you have to do is watch my videos. Subscribe now, hit like, be blessed. Good boy. Out.
