Sat Shri Akal Ji, you are watching our channel Bull India and I am Paramjit. Like every time, this time too we have brought you an informative video which is related to the share market and in our today 's video, we will tell you about a person who was a star investor of the Indian share market, Mr.
Rakesh Junjun Wala Ji, who started his business with 5000 and took it to 43 thousand crore rupees and how he grew it step by step, today we will tell you about this. The story of Rakesh Junjan Wala ji joining the share market is also related to the environment of his home, why and how his interest in it developed because his father was an officer in the Income Tax Department and according to the environment of his home, there were discussions about income and money in his home and he got interested in this thing, what is share, what is income, what is money, what is investment.
When he heard about this thing, his interest in the share market got connected. Then he talked to his father and his father told him that whatever he did, but first know it completely, learn and understand it, take a course, diploma, degree and then take that thing seriously. He was also young at that time, then when he completed his studies with full dedication and hard work, and one day when he got his degree and got his CA degree, he went out.
So, after getting his CA degree, he met his father. Father, I now want to try my luck in the share market. And his father thought that if I send him money myself, he might invest money without thinking and suffer a huge loss. Then he told him that whatever you do, son, do it with your own money, don't look at my money.
Then he thought, Rakesh Junjan Wala ji thought that if I invest myself, then first of all I should see what I have and how much my savings are. Then he checked his total and he had only five thousand rupees in total. He started from a small level in the share market with Rs. 1000. Step by step, he circulated the same money and while circulating it, he also got to know it, understand it and invest it.
So in this journey, he came to a turning point in his life, which we can say was the first biggest profit. He bought 5000 shares of Citadel Data at Rs 3, which were worth Rs 2.15 each, and after three months, its value became Rs 3, in which he got back Rs 15,000, which he had invested, and in that, he made a profit of five lakhs, and in three months, he saw such a big profit that when he saw it, his passion became more precise, his courage became stronger, that is, he said, "Yes, I want to do this." Then he kept analyzing it, understanding the market well, watching, investing, circulating money, and his money kept growing, and he did it slowly, like this, since 1986.
They grew it up to 199, meaning they earned a lot by circulating their money, earning 25 to 30 lakh rupees, meaning that their biggest investment in the money they earned was a share of Siga, they bought a share of Siga, Sisa Goa, they bought it for just 8 rupees, and within a few days the price of the share reached Rs.
Then, in this way, whoever got their hands on the shares, wherever they invested, they grew, grew, and in this way, they continued to grow double and even quadruple day by day. In this way, in 1990, there was a significant upsurge in his life which was seen in connection with Harshad Mehta. Harshad Mehta was also called a big bull of the stock market.
Big bull means that wherever he invested, Harshad Mehta meant that the stock which was at the top went up. First of all, you have to understand about the market. What would happen in the market? There would be one bull, one bear bull, who would be in that group. Those who were in the group would make money when the stock went to the top, when it went to profit.
Those who were in the group would make money when it went to loss. And Rakesh Junjan, who was in the group, would be with them. One Radhe Kishan Maidani, who had his own demat account, and one Mannu Mundra. These three people would be in this group and they would make money when the market went to loss.
And then in 1992, everyone knew that Harshad Mehta scam was known to everyone. Back then, Harshad Mehta, who was in power until those days, in 1991, Tamil Nadu was going on a rampage. Those who used to touch the lion, his predictions were so powerful that he would go on rampages, he would go on rampages, he would go on rampages, he was doing a lot of damage.
Seeing this, a turning point came in 1992 when the Harshit Mehda scam came to light and he was arrested. After his arrest, there was so much turmoil in the market that the shares that were falling very fast, when they fell below six, he sold his beer group to Rakesh Junjun Wala. He earned the biggest profit of his life at that time, in the public interest because the Mandri Wala group used to earn money from the same people.
So after Harshad Mehta was arrested, he thought that the market that is coming now will grow further, it will not stay here, it will go further, it will go much further and there will be a big change in it. Then he left that group and joined the Bullav group, he came to that side and started investing.
From there, because by then they had become so much more intelligent, they had learned so much about the stock market, they had acquired so much knowledge that the stocks they used to invest in, the company they bought shares of, grew. By doing this, they reached the top, which meant that they would also be successful.
After that, they opened a company, Rare Enterprises, and after that, they started making their own investments, which was personal investment, in Rare India. And after that, in 2002 or 2003, the biggest investment they made was in Titan. That is, the shares of Titan Company that were bought at a price of Rs 3 crore, which is now worth Rs 100 per share, and the total of which is Rs 1500 crore, and the shares that he bought were between Rs 12 crore and 60 lakh, and look at where he was at that time and where he is today, and what he has, his portfolio, and the portfolio that he has, which is more than Rs 3 crore, which is his stock, and the names of very, very good companies that are around, and the total value of them is more than Rs 43 thousand crore, so this information will be about Mr.
Rakesh Junjanwala, how he made his journey from the floor to the throne, and how he made his big fortune of Rs 43 thousand crore plus from a small investment. How did he manage to get from a common person to the sixth position among the richest people in India? It seems amazing to hear that the sixth position is a very distant thing, but to come to the sixth position among the richest people out of a population of 150 crore is also a very big deal.
It is not a common thing to rise from a simple family and build an empire by making a small investment. These are the ones who have the ability to make themselves a hero from zero. These are the only people who can do it and this was Rakesh Junjhun Wala. So, that's all for today's video. Do tell us in the comment boxes how you liked the information in this video.
