so the crypto was to steal your money and get you used to digital currency the whole thing is a promise that you can get rich for free now all cryptos will be outlawed and go to zero because they won't allow a competing crypto to exist or they can have control over you so anybody that tells you cryptos are going to make you wealthy after the crash these games are rigged and if they're rigged and you're not the one rigging them you're the sucker at the table so get out before you lose everything so yeah gang this um video was sent to me by a friend and I thought I'd make a video about when you watch videos like this ask who the are you and why should I listen to you it's very important who is this man this man's a Salesman if you go to his if you go to his uh sites he says he's worked with three 33 different companies there's some similar investment uh salesman a sales investment advice um I don't know if he's a financial and to be clear I'm not a financial advisor this is not financialized this is just my opinion I'm just a guy talking about crypto you got to have a critical mindset when you hear information these days it's very important oh I'm going to switch to a different video which holds a lot more weight um let's listen to this one from Mr monger and Mr Buffett the asset itself is creating nothing I think it's a scumball activity I would short it if there was an easy way to do it so there you have it you have Bill Gates Warren Buffett Charlie Munger one of them was calling it a scumball activity the other saying Bill Gates saying he would short this thing if he could and you're saying they're all wrong yeah explain um well look not everybody is right all the time and I think we have to acknowledge that we all have biases and look I'm a disciple of Buffett and monger and one of the things that um they have said for years which I believe is you define a circle of confidence and you stay within it and I think it's been clear in his entire investment now if you don't know who this cat is shamath um Palo hoptaya this man came from poverty I mean we're talking real he came from a very abusive uh household an abusive situation he's he's now a billionaire um and one of the things they were interviewing people who become billionaires and one of the things is going through severe struggle uh people that go through severe struggles in life um not all of course but a few of them fight their way out of it and become hugely successful and maybe there's something to that um there's another interview with chamoth he's talking and they ask him to you know do you own Bitcoin and he said yes he says what about you know the other assets like ethereum what about um other things he says uh you know I just decided long ago I could make my life complicated or I could buy number one um and that's what Bitcoin is it's the it's and to be clear um it's an asset it's a digital asset I know the word crypto gets thrown around a lot it's not a word which people like or warm up to it sounds I don't know it sounds Shady crypto but these are assets we're talking about and much like a painting um I'm not saying it's like a painting but you know assets like a um anything which appreciates in value assets also depreciating value um almost anything you can name does this and let's hear what he says about his response to these uh billionaires in career that technology is not in a circle of confidence and so the only technology name that he's owned is Apple I mean he you could claim that IBM was a technology company that's borderline it's out of that that didn't work anyway right and apple I was thinking that if he got in Bitcoin if you eventually got in Bitcoin when he got in events it got into Apple it had already been a million dollars probably probably but just going back to this I don't think he looks at as a technology I think he looks at it as an asset class that he would put in the same similar class with gold just it's a non-productive asset it's an asset that is only worth more if other people agree to pay more for it that what type of issue which I also agree with I think I think it is exactly that I think it is a replacement to Gold but again but you like gold you're saying you like non-productive assets I like in a portfolio again my portfolio is 99 risk on one percent risk off and in that one percent risk off bucket I think that something like Bitcoin is really important why because it is not correlated to the rest of the market and the biggest thing that's changed you don't believe that the success of Bitcoin over the past several years has been correlated to the marketing this man left man speak so the idea that there's as much liquidity in cash sloshing around in the world has allowed people to buy into Bitcoin in a way that they wouldn't have frankly if they're different than being correlated to Australia that's a liquidity since 2012.
and I feel like I'm in two different universes I need a passport to go between the Bitcoin world and my regular World these are not the same people and what I would tell you is the people that own Bitcoin in 2012 all the way up to now the majority of those people view it as a hedge to the traditional Financial infrastructure whether that's true or not is unclear but that's how we've all viewed it separately what Joe says is absolutely right there's a big difference between correlation and liquidity and the reality is all of these Financial Assets in the traditional markets are fundamentally correlated we saw that in 2007 everything broke down things that we thought were Hedges went away and so I think it's really important to not forget what happened there so in 2018 or 19 heaven forbid we go through another cataclysmic financial event we are going to see the same fundamental correlation and so again I ask why would it not make sense to have a non-correlated hedge for a small amount this is about buying insurance it was the same reason why in 2008 the folks had bought simple simple Insurance buy gold I mean at least Gold's got a 3 000 year or ten thousand year record of of being a store of value I mean I think that's the other thing Buffett's saying there's no reason to think this is a story I think that's a fair point but I think these are not exclusive decisions and you know for for this younger class of entrance into the market they probably don't want to buy gold in fact they don't want to buy gold and they want to buy something that's much more digital and reflective of their value I feel though about the idea that that so he's he's right and um if you look at how Bitcoin is performed and compared to Gold there's no comparison um there's no there's just no comparison and the fact that you can go anywhere in the world and it's worth the same you don't have to exchange the currency if you're going to a different country uh what you own in the U.S is the same that you would own in Tokyo or Paris um the way you access it is is much simpler than bars of gold um it's I mean how can you how much do you think something like that is worth why do you think people like BlackRock are um interested I'm going to move on because this is this is starting to get on my nerves these people but um you know this is Kathy Wood let's listen to what you've got your own filing for uh physical physically backed Bitcoin ETF do you think that the excitement there has driven up prices across crypto I mean today is a down day but we're still looking at twenty nine thousand dollars for Bitcoin uh yes I do think uh that that in June when BlackRock uh announced its filing or when it was announced that uh BlackRock had filed for Bitcoin ETF uh the Bitcoin price did shoot up uh and but has been fairly stable since then uh so I I do think it's had an impact a a bigger impact this year was the Regional Bank crisis it was very interesting to watch Bitcoin uh go from nineteen thousand to thirty thousand right in the middle uh yes so a while back Bitcoin Rose 10 percent just in the last few months I think it was like eight like what she was just saying when the bank started failing oh boy I mean went for 18 to 30.
so anyone thinking it was just gonna go straight up to the Moon from there is is just delusional things go up they come down if you don't have the stomach to ride through those ups and downs this isn't the asset for you really all assets behave in this way and let's be clear the US dollar is an asset even if you were to convert all of your money into Cash you don't think the US dollar goes up and down take a look I'm not going to bring up any charts right now but look it up the US dollar has been doing well at all it has been going down in value and as they the government continues to print more and more people are looking for other assets to invest in and that's what as uh excited people about Bitcoin and I'm going to let Kathy talk for a minute of that banking crisis as Regional Banks were going bankrupt so it was a flight to safety so I thought that move was just as interesting hang on a flight to safety is buying Bitcoin somehow a flight to safety isn't it a little too volatile for that well if you think about it uh Bitcoin serves as two kinds of Hedges one is a hedge against inflation and outright confiscation of wealth the other is against counterparty risk and I don't know when the regional Banks started uh going down this fear sort of uh uh you know memory our memories are fresh with 0809 the counterparty risk uh became real and so there was this flight into Bitcoin a completely decentralized transparent uh Network which is not subject to counterparty risk uh Kathy so you are in this race let's talk about the race a little bit the first important deadline coming up is August 13th where the arc filing the SEC is either going to delay it which we think they'll probably delay it um and then BlackRock is later you filed before BlackRock but BlackRock came in with the surveillance sharing agreement with coinbase that was novel right now we're looking in the future there's talk of a common clock where the SEC could approve a bunch of ETFs at once putting you on the level playing field with BlackRock and others what's your take on how this will play out given you filed earlier I I think you're probably right that uh August 13th will come and go and uh I think uh I think the SEC if it's going to approve a Bitcoin ETF will approve more than one uh uh at once uh so then uh again because most of these essentially will be the same and it will come down to marketing communicating the message you know we've been putting out our Bitcoin monthly for the for the last uh year uh we are now starting a Bitcoin um brainstorming session uh our first one we launched last Thursday uh so we're trying to get the word out there that uh you know our research is deep and we've been doing it since 2015 when we gained our first exposure to GB I'm gonna I'm gonna stop it right here if you're not familiar with Kathy Wood she's with Arc invest she's which it is asset manager um you definitely should go to their YouTube channel Arc invest and watch every single video this this company our asset manager is involved in all the new tech from AI to bitcoin and they're not always right 100 of the time but they have a deep and critical uh methodic way of approaching how Tech is influenced in the market and these are the people I want to hear from what do they think this guy well they can have control over you I don't want to hear anything that man has to say you feel me and I'm not going to go on and on with this video but I encourage you to do your research do your homework and that's my experience for what it's worth this is not Financial advice do your own do your homework and last guys don't risk what you can afford not to lose I'll say that again once you once you invest uh Kiss It Goodbye because it may come down to that you do all you do your best research you do your best homework um but if you can't afford it don't risk it if you can't live with the loss and I say that it was experience if you cannot handle the fluctuations in price and and some people just aren't built for that way just go to work you know do a regular job but the people who are up here they'll all tell you assets are the answer and you really have to understand assets and again just because because you're holding all this U.S currency doesn't mean it's not going up and down it goes up and down every day and whatever you made last year is made if you made a hundred thousand dollars last year that hundred thousand dollars you make this year is worth less than it was last year I can show you the charts but you should look for yourself um you know that happens you know what a hundred thousand dollars was worth ten years ago is with more more than it is right now today so we all know that um and if you have a lot of money you got to find a way a hedge against that sort of inflation you got to find something that isn't depression depreciating the way the U.S dollar is so what is that art real estate I don't know again this is not Financial advice this is just me talking um so good luck gang and uh all the best take care
