so the market was gapping up a little bit and uh as of uh doing the recap right now everything is negative iwm is down one percent spy is down point seven percent and q is down and dow jones um all negative we are getting into a less volatile time of the market and now we have to look for a stock sim player it reminds me of just all righty good morning everybody welcome to another episode of financial tightening meaning that we're all going to get a little bit less poor by federal reserve so the market was gapping up a little bit and uh as of uh doing the recap right now everything is negative iwm is down one percent spy is down point seven percent and q is down and dow jones um all negative so we're getting into a less volatile time of the market uh and uh now we have to look for a stock sim player it reminds me of just pre-pandemic back in 2018 and 19 we didn't have a lot of volatility in the market but you had to be on the scout for really good uh trading opportunity for single individual stocks so the stock and play today was uh crm and the neo i traded crm unfortunately not very successfully so this one was a company that are gapping up for the good earning last uh yesterday so i didn't try to go opening range break up on it but i was chasing it a little bit in the open because it was a little bit extended from the revamp i got out of it sold off all the viva came back up and then ripped the higher all the way up to 184 and the moira 84 was this moving average on on a daily chart so if you go here so you know this moving average on a daily chart you see it's around 183 184 which is also the high back in early may and that was uh that was a really decent goal that he did it did eventually come back you know i did a couple of cool flags and i did one trade at 180 250 above to 183.50 but i really didn't get a really good run on it i wish i was having a better run on that so that was the crm and then what else we did i did tkq which was one of the better trades that i had so tkq is a trade for um you know leverage the trade of qqq so that did the one minute opening range break up you know from 33.90 all the way up to above 34 and i tried to catch it twice again another that and after that it becomes really choppy so um so that was one trade that i did so that went long and added more here for the next pop so that was a really a nice trade and then i had two small ones that i got stopped out here as as well i eventually ended up profit on the tqq and amd same thing you know same move on amd there is amd here yeah so amd same one minute opening range break up with the engulfing popped up from below one or two one or two twenty five all the way up to one or three fifty and i added more so that was uh actually this is two actually two different uh trades so that's one trade and that's another trade so that's uh these two are really uh interesting trade that we did and yeah that was it pretty much for me what else did they do yeah amd crm and tq that's it uh so brian how was your day so yeah no i traded um let's say so just going into the going into the open i mentioned i was uh really interested the only thing that was really interesting to me was this apps and so uh it was it was gapping down so it was looking at it as a rising devil trade so it's just a continuation move lower after the market opened and uh yeah so i just uh i just got it short on it right at the open and it dropped like a stone i was shocked how fast it dropped um so i just kept covering it on the way down and uh yeah that was it that was my best trade and then crm you already mentioned i traded it a few times as i should have just bought it and held it but traded it through some whole numbers 180 and then 183 on that last move so uh yeah so i got uh got some nice scalps on crm as well and that was pretty much uh pretty much it i did try to short square but it kind of stopped me out and then it eventually failed but um that was uh for the most part that was it and then megan had a really good short on uh on the cues you might want to just jump in on that yeah yeah yeah no i have it uh so i actually put that megan go ahead yeah so i was looking at cues at the standard level around 3 11 62 and this morning it paired really well with r3 we definitely got into a bit of a chop fest there was a lot of buying and selling happening um it got stuck for a little while but i used 10 of the atr for the stop so luckily i didn't get stopped out on it and then finally we broke that compression area and just got a great look at the downside covered um most of my position at previous days closed and now i've got a little bit left in it just to kind of see this overall for the rest of the day yeah that's that's really nice so you put a stop to us at uh at the 300 to 1276 it really didn't get that and you know that's a really nice you know three to one risk to reward i'm just surprised that you didn't partial out you go exit completely or you actually partial out below that i no i haven't part filled yet um i want to see if the market actually turns around um i'm playing the higher time frames so i'm usually looking for these higher time frame levels to partial that because the spy overall had like market overall has lost some pretty significant range levels i'm waiting to see if it'll lose the next one and take the cues with it for another like down on the higher time frames um but we might just stay here for a little while and if it holds for a while i'll just um get out of it awesome well thank you so much that was awesome trading and uh yeah so let's see q's are really bouncing back to flat um yeah q's are bouncing back and spy is uh you know kind of staying in the red iwm is the
