on the channel today i want to go ahead and share a live trade that i took yesterday on nvidia these were put options i was looking for downside off the previous day close looking at the technicals on nvidia now in this video i want to focus on one thing there's going to be one thing that i really stress and that is creating cash flow in any position that you take making sure that you are scaling out as you start to gain profits to protect yourself from going from green to red i never like to go from green to red on any position i'm sure you don't as well and creating cash flow scaling out of the position in my opinion is the best way to avoid that and i have a live example of me doing that from yesterday nvidia was a nice move it did go against me later in the trade but because i scaled out and i had a smaller position as it started to go against me i was still able to end up with a nice green trade let me know down below if you want to see more of these live trading videos i do post them on my instagram more often so make sure to follow me on instagram options underscore insider make sure to watch out for these scam accounts i will never message you first i will never ask you for bitcoin none of that nonsense so make sure to be protected on that end but let's go ahead and jump into this press that like button subscribe and make sure to come hang out in the pre-market live streams every single morning starting at 8 a.m all right guys so before we jump into the live trade i just want to give some premise as to what i was looking for on nvidia yesterday as i entered the trade and what i was looking for this is yesterday this is the day prior so this was uh this was friday of last week and what you guys can see is that yellow line that's running across your screen that is the previous day closing price so there was a lot of stocks that were sort of trading around that previous day close and i was looking to see isn't video going to fall off that previous day close or is it going to try to hold above it now as you can see in the morning we did get a push up to that pre-market high and that is where we ultimately rejected and you'll see in the live trade that is where i actually entered my position off that pre-market high looking for the downside under the previous day close so just to give some idea of what i was looking for i was looking for a rejection of pre-market highs and a move under the previous day closed to create some of that weakness so now let's go ahead and jump into the live trade all right guys so first of all i want to apologize for this being a little bit blurry when i go ahead and move this larger the quicktime player just is a little bit blurry so hopefully it's okay on your end if it's too blurry i'm gonna make sure to find a different way to do this but here is my live trade here on nvidia the options chain is on the right the bottom right you're gonna see my current p l this is right as i got in and then on the left side is your chart and you guys can see that 196 where we were looking at that pre-market high is right where nvidia rejected on your left side and you can see on the on the left side you can see we are starting to move under that pre-market or that previous day closing price and when i saw that when i saw those wicks up there and i saw it starting to reject that pre-market i went ahead and entered my puts with a stop above that pre-market high because it's very easy at this point my risk to reward is pretty high if i if i see a move over that pre-market high right around 196 197 i go ahead and get out of my position and if i'm looking for downside i have a nice margin to the downside back to around 191 to play this so risk reward was good i had a clear stop there over pre-market highs that rejection of pre-market highs and i was looking to see if this would start to move lower along with the nasdaq weakness that was starting to come in so if i go ahead and play this you can see i am in the position i got some april 29th 190 puts and you can see that i have five contracts now you're gonna see on the live trade as soon as i start to see this work in my position i am going to start to scale out so you guys can see right here i am in that position and i'm going to go ahead and start to scale out so watch the bottom right where that number says five you're going to see that that's going to quickly decline to i believe three contracts where i am scaling out of two contracts as i start to gain profits to create cash flow the importance here is to create that cash flow to start to take profits off the table so that if the stock moves against me then i am okay if the stock moves against me then i will be okay because i will have a smaller position size less contracts and the loss on the way up will be less so you guys will see here momentarily nvidia will drop below that nine ema drop towards the vwop and if you look on the right side here you are gonna see me scale out of my position so momentarily you're going to see it right there so i sold three contracts at 605 leaving myself with two contracts left up about 239 dollars in the position and now i can relax a little bit i can know that if the stock goes against me on this scalp i only have two contracts i took some profits off the table and if it does bounce against me then i will be okay at worst i could maybe potentially come out break even but i should at no point moving forward from that scale out be read on this position i have basically locked myself in to be green on this position not getting greedy making sure that i am creating cash flow on this position so right around here guys i was talking in the chat saying that i am willing to potentially add to this position if we drop under 193.

193 was a major level of support and you can see we're creating that bear flag we rejected the 9 ema and right there on the bottom right you are going to see that i actually added to my position here basically putting myself back into four contracts and looking to see if i can take a little bit off the table or a little bit more on this scalp under a break of 193.

so i have four contracts now up about four hundred dollars and as soon as i get that quick move you're going to see momentarily here once again i am creating cash flow for myself so if i fast forward this you're going to see that momentarily right there i take a contract off as i get the quick move taking that contract off taking some more profits off the table protecting myself even more now leaving myself with three contracts if i fast forward you're gonna see that on another big move right there i go ahead and take another contract off so there's another nice candle for me to the downside taking one more contract off at 6.95 now locking in majority of my profits once again leaving myself with two contracts you're going to see as i fast forward the stock does reverse on me now if this stock reversed on me with my whole position i would have put probably gone break even on this trade you can see that i did take one more off right there taking one more contract off leaving myself with one now what you'll see momentarily is nvidia spikes back up into my stop loss of 193.

if i didn't take any of these off before i took or if i didn't take any contracts off before the move went against me this probably wouldn't have been as good as a trade as it was so you can see that my last exit which is as nvidia spikes into 193 was six dollars and 12 cents leaving me with a 382 dollar profit now if we go back to where i got into this position my first ad was 560.

so 560 to 612 i believe it was is only about a fifty point uh fifty cent win if i would have held my entire position which would have yielded me just around two hundred and forty dollars at that time so i was able to lock in about 180 more dollars by scaling out as i go down making sure that i am locking profits in along the ride lower so i hope this makes a little bit of sense i hope you get the idea i'm sorry that the screen is a little bit blurry but so showing you guys that as the stock starts to move with me as i start to get the move that i'm looking for scaling out managing that trade and making sure that i am protecting my profits and locking those profits in along the way i never like to hold the entire position to where my stop loss is right i want to be taking profits along the ride and making sure that anything that moves against me is with a smaller size that really can affect my overall p l so guys i hope this video helps i know it's a little bit short i know it's maybe a little bit blurry probably not my best produced video but i thought i'd throw in a live trade for you guys give you this example of scaling out creating cash flow if you did enjoy it make sure t for more videos and i hope to see you guys in the next one peace
