01. not moved off that. That's our bullcase, 1 and a.5 million in 2030. Everyone is worried about inflation destroying their retirement savings. But what if the real threat isn't prices going up, but the entire global financial system collapsing down? Kathy Wood, the CEO of Arc Invest, just made a shocking prediction.

02. She sees Bitcoin hitting $1.5 million by 2030. But the reason isn't what you think. She warns that AI and technological disruption are about to trigger a massive deflationary crisis causing bankruptcies for countries and individuals alike. Today we break down why she believes the old world order is ending and why this asset might be your only hedge against the coming chaos.

03. I get a lot is wait a minute you're you're expecting not inflation but deflation. Doesn't that take away an important role that Bitcoin that you think Bitcoin's going to play? And uh our answer there is yes, Bitcoin is a hedge against inflation. It's mathematically metered to top out at 21 million. It's going up8% per year right now, which will drop to 4%.

04. It is going its supply is is now rising more slowly than gold's uh supply because miners gold miners can just go out and you know uh uh they can respond to this price signal. So their mining has picked up. Um but what about the deflation side? Well, if you think about 089, which was the catastrophic catastrophic deflation, uh threatened a financial a global financial bust uh introducing all kinds of counterparty risk.

05. Bitcoin is a hedge against that. If you self-custody uh if you self custody Bitcoin, uh you're not subject to any counterparty risk. it's yours and it's in your wallet. Uh and uh so we think it's got a very plays in a very important role in both and especially if we're right on how disruptive the world is going to be disrupted by these five tech uh innovation platforms, 15 different technologies that are converging.

06. uh then you know there's going to be a lot of chaos in the traditional world order and there's probably going to be a lot more bankruptcies out there than many people expect. You know, speaking of chaos, Kathy, we're getting a great case study right now in Iran, you know, where I spent my childhood.

07. And we had a an intern funds, Farah, uh, and she said her her parents are still in Iran. She's Iranian, and her her parents are still in Iran. And all the transactions for years now at the bizaar where we used to buy rice and stuff when I was a kid, they're all done with Bitcoin. Everybody has to have a phone.

08. The only way you can actually buy things is with Bitcoin. And, you know, that that's been going on for years. I think it's probably illegal. nobody cares and now you've got a revolution. You obviously the currency is completely unusable at this stage. It's, you know, the the country is teetering on the brink.

09. So, and I noticed in the blockchain ledger reports, you know, this is a couple years ago, a hugely disproportionate fraction of transactions come from Iran. So this will be a good bell weather because you know that kind of disruption you know Venezuela and all around the world you look at just massive fraction of the of the population of the world lives in unstable places.

10. So if all of Iran moves to Bitcoin because people are going to be fleeing the country imminently as quickly as they can get out then that's a bellweather and a case study for what could happen to probably you know over half the population of the world with all the disruption that's coming. I I have I have an I have an Arc Invest worthy tracking system.

11. Um okay, which is um the market cap of gold is almost 20 times that of Bitcoin, but the daily trading volume of Bitcoin is only a quarter of what gold is. Is already a guest asked Kathy Wood a very sharp question. He said, "Kathy, your views seem a bit contradictory. Honestly, people say this all the time in the comments, too.

12. On one hand, you argue that inflation will push Bitcoin higher because people use it to hedge against currency debasement. But on the other hand, in many interviews and even in your reports, you also say that accelerating technological innovation will push the US into deflationary pressure in the coming years.

13. So which is it really? If the future is deflation, where does Bitcoin's upside logic come from? This was actually a great question. No one had really asked it this directly before. It hits right at the core confusion a lot of people have. And Kathy Wood's answer is where her world disorder theory really comes into focus.

14. She barely hesitated. She said, "Bitcoin is not only a hedge against inflation, it's also a hedge against deflation." Now, that sounds counterintuitive. Deflation means falling prices. In theory, the purchasing power of money should rise. From a traditional economics perspective, people should just hold cash.

15. So, why would anyone buy Bitcoin in a deflationary world? Kathy Wood then explained her core logic. The deflation she's talking about is not the good kind of deflation where productivity improves and prices fall gradually. What she's predicting is a destructive deflation, one caused by massive technological gaps that break down the global economic order.

16. In that kind of deflation, many countries lose competitiveness, their economies stagnate, social systems collapse, and their fiat currencies become effectively worthless. And that's what Bitcoin is really hedging against. Systemic collapse risk. How does technological disruption actually trigger global unrest and a total collapse of the financial system?

17. We have to look at ArchInvest's big ideas 2026. Even though they didn't address it directly in this interview, the logic is there. Take artificial intelligence as an example. Right now, the vast majority of the world's top AI companies are concentrated in the US and China. When AI achieves a major breakthrough, the resulting productivity boost won't just be significant.

18. It will be exponential and overwhelming. The nations that own this technology will become incredibly powerful and unimaginably wealthy. Meanwhile, countries that fail to master core AI will get crushed across three fronts: services, manufacturing, and innovation. Their entire societies will effectively lose all vitality.

19. This kind of conquest through a technological gap has happened many times in history. Just look at the age of discovery. Before the Spanish fleet reached the Americas, the Mayan and Incan civilizations had built massive complex empires. They had their own social structures, cultures, and even primitive monetary systems, even if those civilizations were eventually outmatched.

20. But when the Spaniards arrived, these civilizations vanished almost instantly. Currencies that had been used for centuries or even millennia became worthless overnight, completely replaced by the Spanish silver dollar. The age of discovery was a dimensionality reduction strike powered by maritime technology.

21. But the AI era we're living through now, the disruption could be far greater than anything we saw back then. When a country falls completely behind in AI, its social fabric and the hopes of its young people face a real risk of collapse. This is where the global chaos theory comes from. It envisions a winner takes all future where the gap between nations is blown wide open by technology.

22. Look at Iran's fiat currency, the real. Years of sanctions and hyperinflation have turned it into little more than scrap paper. Gold can preserve value, sure, but it's a nightmare to carry and nearly impossible to divide for daily transactions. As a result, Bitcoin has become the only hard currency there.

23. Some might say it's legally questionable, but at that point, who cares? It's a matter of survival. And this isn't just a news headline or a data point. This is a living, breathing personal experience. In extreme environments where state credit is bankrupt, people will naturally choose the best solution just to stay alive.

24. In places like Iran, Bitcoin isn't some high-risk investment anymore. It's money for rice. It's the money that keeps you alive. Iran is just a microcosm, a small early preview of the global disorder to come. Millions of people in places like Venezuela and Palestine are living through this same instability.

25. With their currencies in a constant state of devaluation, Bitcoin represents hope to them. It's the right to protect the fruits of their own hard work. Next, the program mentions another data point that provides powerful support for the future of Bitcoin. Currently, the total market cap of gold is about 20 times that of Bitcoin, a massive gap.

26. However, Bitcoin's average daily trading volume has already reached 1/4 of gold's. This means that even though Bitcoin's market pi is much smaller, its turnover rate and liquidity are incredibly high. It proves that more and more people are using Bitcoin for highfrequency transactions and value transfers.

27. It's not just a static asset for storage or a tool for speculation. While gold is mostly locked away in vaults, Bitcoin is in constant motion, flowing globally 24/7. This high level of liquidity is exactly where Bitcoin's potential as a global currency lies. Kathy Wood's logic is crystal clear. She sees how technologies like AI will tear the world apart.

28. And she sees the fragility of most national fiat currencies. She sees how in places like Iran, Bitcoin has already become a literal lifeline for the people. She believes that as technological disruption intensifies, this Iran model will be replicated all over the globe. During the age of discovery, with the rise of Spain and Portugal, at least 30 indigenous currencies and exchange systems in the Americas vanished completely.

29. During the industrial revolution, as nation states were established and the gold standard was finalized, hundreds of local currencies from European principalities and city states were phased out. The disruption led by the AI era far exceeds the age of discovery or any other period in history. This time, how many of the fiat currencies we take for granted today will eventually disappear into the long river of history.
