Hello friends, I Ankur Upadhyay welcome you all once again to my new video. Friends, here I am going to talk to you all about a well-known investor Peter Lynch. If Peter Lynch is to be believed, friends, then this is expressing fear about AI stocks. They are telling the danger. What are the details?
I would love to read through this video with you all. First of all, let me tell you that due to Peter Lynch's advice, Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI, very sharp rallies and crashes are being seen in the stock market. Volatility that means you have seen the CSPI market is moving 10-10, 15-15% in a day.
And you know, the market is not moving, those two stocks are moving. The weightage of these two stocks, one Samsung Electronics and the other SK Hinx, has become so high in the costly market that these stocks give big moves. The entire market makes a big move. Recently we all saw that there was a big fall of 15-16% and after that there was an equally big rise in CSPI and the region is the same, SK HX and Samsung Electronics.
Now let me talk to you all further. But legendary investor Peter Lynch stayed away from AI stocks because he believes don't invest in a business you don't understand. If we understand the details, there was a lot of hype about AI last year. Companies were spending billions of dollars on AI. This made AI stacks like Nvidia run much faster.
Later, investors doubted whether such expenditure would yield profits in the future and selling of AI stocks started. He said I don't own a single AI stock. Brother, it seems as if you missed the bus and are regretting it, but in a different way. And jokingly said that till 8 months ago I was not even able to pronounce the name of Nvidia correctly.
So no one knew what that means and today the whole world is running after Nvidia. He might have made a sarcastic remark in this manner. I am the weakest person in technology. I don't even know how to use computers properly. The most important lesson is Peter Lynch 's famous rule. Know what you own. Understand the business of the stock you are buying well.
This is what he says. If you do not understand the company's business, earnings and future, and invest only after seeing the hype, then the chances of incurring loss will increase. Friends, look at this, every investor in the stock market says this. But sometimes what happens is that we just have to read the data.
Look, there are two proverbs for everything in the market. It's important to see who you follow. For example, one guy says, "Don't try to catch a falling knife." Never buy a falling stock. There is another saying, buy on dips, buy the falling thing. So here it does not matter that you buy only the person you know.
Sometimes, now look, there are so many companies in the market. We know a little bit about everyone. And on the majority side, Indian investors do not know anyone other than FMCG. You tell me, apart from FMCG business, will we understand metal business? Neither will we understand IT nor will we understand auto.
Brother, we will not come because we poor people who travel regularly only understand tea, sugar and biscuits, so if we invest with this formula then we will never be able to catch the big bus, so we will have to trust the numbers that brother, this is the figure, it happens like this, it happens like that, then we will have to take it, only then we will be able to catch the good thing, otherwise in the market, the large cap, we will only consider HDFC Bank as the one which is not doing well, then we will consider SBI as the one which is not doing well, then according to me, huge wealth is not created by investing in such big and very big stocks.
So this saying is correct to a great extent and also not correct to a great extent. Sometimes you have to look at the quality numbers and then invest. Further, if you do not understand the business earnings and future of the company then do not invest just by looking at the hype. The chances of loss increase.
What was the message for retail investors? Don't invest in stocks just by looking at social media or AI hype. First understand the business of the company. How does it make money and what is its future growth? What is the source? Understand this. If you do not understand the business then skipping that stock can also be a good decision.
It definitely can happen. But if the market experts, analysts and companies are all buying there, then you can also take a decision. Everyone is buying. If everyone's money is being invested then yours should also be invested. There is no harm in this. So everything has its own trend. The rest of Peter Lynch's view is not that AI is bad.
His belief is that I have not missed the bus. I left because I did not understand the business or you can say they did not want to understand it. So according to me, they have printed a lot of money brother. I have made it. But if your journey has just begun, then you will have to focus on different stories and trust yourself and the company and invest.
So this was the updated information from my side to a Peterl sir. I hope you liked the details. Thank you so much for watching this video.
