My boyfriend, Tom Lee.
He has a prediction that I have to share with you. And then we will do a little overview of the stock market and prepare for trading. So we'll stop here for a few minutes. But we have to start with Tom Lee and what he says about the end of the market sell-off. Oh my god, I love this. Tom Lee, head of research at Fundstrat, makes an optimistic argument that the sell-off in AI stocks may be coming to an end and could present a good buying opportunity.
And again , friends, this is not financial advice. I am not a financial advisor. I did my own research, watched a video with Tom Lee on CNBC. That's where I got my little comment from. You need to do your own research before making any financial decisions, right? I'm just Tom Lee—this is my boyfriend.
Sale. Here's what Tom Lee says. This is what he says. Here's what he's been saying lately. The sale may be close to selling out. Lee believes that the fear surrounding AI funding and crowded investment has created opportunities for investors willing to see through short-term volatility. That's good.
That's good, because that's what I was telling myself, Richard. Don't get caught up in this drama. Don't let them fill your head with financial scare stories, man. Don't pay any attention to it. Short-term noise . That's what I tell myself, because I'm seriously invested. 75% of my wealth is invested in the stock market.
So I say to myself, "Don't let these people scare you or instill fear in you with this horror story about AI funding, it's all fiction." In my opinion, this is all a cunning trick to buy up assets for next to nothing. That's the whole point. Buy cheap if you can, and then raise the price sky high again.
This is part of the stock market, right? This is part of stock market manipulation. And this is not Tom Lee saying this. This is my personal opinion. Do your homework. But I tell myself the same thing. I said, "This AI funding scare story is just made up." And here's what Tom Lee says. Let me repeat that again .
"The sale may be close to running out." Tom Lee believes that the fear surrounding AI funding and crowded investment has created opportunities for investors willing to see through short-term volatility. He sees buying opportunities in the AI and semiconductor sectors. He particularly singled out chipmakers, AI cloud service companies, software, and the so- called "Magnificent Seven." It's not Richard Feynman, it's Tom Lee.
If you don't believe me, go investigate. Find it yourself, guys. He believes that the foundations of AI remain strong. The fundamentals of AI remain strong. His argument is that AI-related businesses remain an important source of revenue growth, despite concerns about the cost of building AI infrastructure.
If you look at GDP—this is my personal opinion, do your own research—but if you look at GDP, a large part of the GDP jump, in my opinion, was, right? It was growth. Truth? This was growth from these AI-related companies. This is my opinion. Look at "The Magnificent Seven." Do you think this is useless?
Listen, when a company like Meta reports 64 billion in the third quarter, a company like Nvidia reports what? I don't know , 93 with something, 90 with something, 91, 93, 96, I don't know , some huge number for their second quarter. Their third quarter is coming up, coming out in November. When you look at a company like Amazon, whose revenue last quarter exceeded 200 billion, you understand, guys, that adds to GDP.
That's a significant part of GDP, right? So that's all , I think, that's how I interpret what Tom Lee is saying. Again , he believes AI's fundamentals remain strong . His argument is that AI-related businesses remain an important source of revenue growth. Right? I still maintain that they are an important part of GDP.
Now, earnings growth, you know, obviously you have all these companies, the broader stock market. You look at the S&P 500 index. Who is pulling the S&P 500 along now? Who is pulling the Nasdaq? AI-related companies, AI businesses, serious players. They are dragging down the S&P. They are dragging NASDAQ down.
I would even say that they are dragging GDP down. This is my opinion at the moment. You don't have to agree, but this is my opinion. So, let's move on. What does this mean for NVIDIA and the stock market? Mhm. Let's go. Here is my interpretation of what Lee says. Let's go. My interpretation of Lee's position is that he sees the sell-off as a potential buying opportunity, not as evidence of the end of the AI boom.
I believe in that too . I agree with him on this step by step. You see, that's how I look at it. That's why I feel like, yes, is it a big risk on my part to keep 75% of my capital in the stock market when I'm 58 years old? Yes, it's a huge risk, and I'm not asking, I'm not advising anyone else to take that risk.
But I'm betting on artificial intelligence. I'm betting on the fifth industrial revolution . And I'm betting I 'm in the early stages of it. And I think that over the next 10 years—this is just my opinion, nothing more. Please do your own research. But over the next 10 years, I personally believe in doubling, tripling my equity.
And throughout this entire 10- year period, I will work and earn money. I'm not going to sit back and feel the need to spend this money. I will continue to work to support myself while this money does its job. But this is for the long term. In the short term, the market is volatile, as Tom Lee just said.
However, there is a critical difference. Just because the sell-off is coming to an end doesn't mean the market has bottomed out. But I'm not trying to guess the bottom. I invest a fixed amount every month on the 15th . Rain, sun, snow, you know, anything. It doesn't matter to me. I intend to invest this way for the next 10 years.
So I don't expect anything from this money right now because I have a 10-year plan. I believe that artificial intelligence is profitable. This is what I believe. Why do I believe this? Because I use it every day. He made my workload much more manageable. I work alone. I don't have a group of people in that room working on an iPhone, answering questions on Patreon, running my little Instagram page, making a couple of videos a day for YouTube, or doing hour-long coaching sessions with everyone who wants to get inside my head.
Artificial intelligence, dude. I paid $19.99 for mine. I'm not going to deceive anyone. Even if it cost 29.99, I would pay it because I get so much done and so much faster with AI, it's just crazy. Does it need to be checked? Yes. But, man, he's squeezing the time frame. So I can't even imagine , on my humble level, and you can imagine how big companies use this, having all these res-Oh my god.
Well, man. Why do you think Meta does what it does? 135–145 billion into AI infrastructure this year. Why do you think other companies do something similar? Because they understand that this is the future. Now, in the short term, some would bet against this. They will say all sorts of nonsense. This is normal .
I have no problem with that . I play for the long term, and if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I'm already a grown man. If I'm wrong, you know what? I will keep working until I drop. That's all. Good. I'm not trying to be nervous. But I agree with Tom Lee. This is an opportunity for a guy like me. I do n't know if this is an option for you.
Maybe you don't, I don't know what you do. Maybe you take your money and hide it under your mattress. Maybe you put them in an empty cookie jar somewhere deep in the cupboard. I don't know. Maybe you keep them in a home safe . I don't know what you're doing there. I'm just telling you what I'm going to do and what I'm betting on in the long term.
And I agree with Tom Lee. I was talking about this the other day. And I have to be careful because I don't want my words to be taken as financial advice, because it's not. But I said the other day that I've been doing this for a long time . I've been playing with these little gorilla stocks for the last couple of years.
So I am very familiar with them . I know that most of them are just companies trying to grow and become profitable. Most of them are not profitable. But a handful of them are starting to make small strides. We've now rolled back a bit due to Treasury yields . And why have bond yields increased? Oil prices have risen.
Now bond yields are falling not because the economy is improving or oil is getting cheaper. Treasury yields are falling because people who invested in stocks have stopped. They no longer invest in stocks. They move into Treasury bonds for safety. Yes? So stocks don't go up because the people who invest in them take their money and put it in Treasury bonds.
But this reduces their profitability, because bonds are in greater demand now. The demand for them is growing. So guess what? The government does not need to pay such a high premium on the rate of return. Not when there is huge demand. You don't have to pay a lot for profitability. But stocks are suffering because of it .
However, there comes a point when investors see value. They see the value, and that's what Tom Lee is talking about. We're now approaching a point where, in many of these AI stocks, investors are starting to say to themselves: the value and potential growth are worth the risk. Two, three , four months ago, when everything was at its peak, probably not.
But now that many of these stocks are at 52-week lows, I'm serious , guys. I mean, just do your research. We're at 52-week lows on a lot of these stocks, man. According to many of them. So Tom Lee is just saying that maybe there's an opportunity here for someone. I don't know who, but it's possible.
What does this mean for Nvidia and the stock market? My understanding of Lee's position is that the views of Let's start over . My understanding of Lee's position is that he sees the sell-off as a potential buying opportunity, not as evidence that the AI boom is over. Thursday's market dynamics demonstrate risk.
The Nasdaq fell 2.6%. The S&P 500 lost 1.21%. And the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell 6.7%. Investors are increasingly concerned about the financing and profitability of AI development. In my opinion, Tom Lee is right. I see three things that would support his optimistic forecast. First: Nvidia and other semiconductor stocks stop making new lows.
This is the first thing. Big players need to stop losing ground. You saw what happened to Meta today . You saw what happened to Tesla today. But such is life, there's nothing you can do about it. Isn't that right? When all this happens at the same time, oil prices are crazy. You saw what Brent did today.
$113 per barrel. It has n't been this high since May. Why is that? Because these people are still active in Iran . Now we can sit here and say whatever we want. If more oil is passing through the Strait of Hormuz, as the leader says, than before the war began, why is Brent oil worth $113 a barrel? All I ask you to do is write in the comments and explain it to me.
Write in the comments and explain to me: if more oil passes through the Strait of Hormuz today than before the war began in March, why is Brent oil worth $113 per barrel? Why is WTI actually worth over $100 a barrel? That's all I'm asking. Please clarify this for a guy who is not very smart. I'm just trying to connect these two things because even though I'm not very smart about these things, it makes sense to me if you use basic logic.
If more oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz , as your leader says every day, wouldn't that be a supply of oil? If you have more supply than demand, prices should fall, right? In my opinion, prices only rise when demand exceeds supply . Then prices go up. So, I'm not sure what this guy is talking about, but in the world I live in, it's pretty simple.
If there is excessive demand and low supply for something, I pay more for it. If I have low demand for something and excess supply, I pay less for it. I do n't know. Help me figure this out. Maybe I'm in some twilight dimension, but help me, because this is exactly what your fabulous leader keeps saying.
That's it . That's it. So, three things that could strengthen Tom Lee's arguments. Three things. His optimistic forecast. Three things. Nvidia and other semiconductor stocks are stopping to refresh lows. This is the first thing. Semiconductors need to come to their senses. Second. AI companies are proving that costs are turning into profits and cash flow.
Third. The market is stabilizing without another significant increase in oil prices or inflationary expectations. If these conditions arise, a powerful rebound is possible . Yes? If not, the sell-off could continue even if Lee's long-term thesis on AI remains true. I believe in the long term . I'm not 100% sure anything will change in the next 24 months unless the Democrats take control of Congress.
At least the House of Representatives to put a stop to these machinations. If Americans who can vote, first of all , if they don't come out and vote, shame on them. If they come and vote, but decide to keep this "fairy tale factory" in power, then get what you have. You deserve everything you get. If you leave on November 3rd and allow these people to remain in full power, controlling the White House, Congress, the Supreme Court, and don't take away Congress from them , leaving them with only the White House, there's not much they can do.
Yes, they can issue a few executive orders, but it won't accomplish anything—no big spending bills or anything like that will be passed. They need to get everything through Congress. And Congress, you know, they won't even want to hear about it . Now, if we don't do this, then we get what we deserve.
That's how I look at it , because on November 3rd, you'll have the opportunity to change some of this. If you don't change this, I don't want to hear from anyone on TikTok. I don't want to hear anyone on Instagram or X, you know, complaining. Don't complain about this guy anymore, man, unless you want to take action and do what it takes to at least limit their power a little.
That's the problem now. There are no limits for these people, man. They just do whatever they want and say whatever they want, regardless of whether it's true or not. They don't care. How can you sit here and say that more oil passes through the Strait of Hormuz today than before the war? How can you say that?
When Brent crude oil is worth $113 per barrel. Well, that's enough for you. But I digress. If these conditions arise, a powerful rebound is possible. If not, the sell-off could continue even if Lee's long-term thesis on AI remains correct. To sum up: Li's latest documented bullish stance on buying AI is on the decline.
Again, this is not financial advice. You can read the article yourself, search for information about Tom Lee yourself, and see that it was he who said it, not me. So you don't have to say, "He told me to buy on the dip." No, I did n't advise you anything. I didn't tell you to do anything. I'm just telling you what Tom Lee said.
And I say I agree with that. That's all I'm saying. So please keep that in mind. The latest documented position of Li is bullish on buying AI in a bear market. I haven't been able to confirm any statements newer than October 19th, guys. October 20. If he said anything after that, you'll have to do your own research.
This is how we feel about Tom Lee. I wanted to give you this before we get a little deeper. What time is it there? Okay, I have about 2 minutes, and we'll quickly, quickly, quickly go over the stock market situation for tomorrow, and then we'll wrap up. So, let's go. Stock market conditions on Friday.
These are possible scenarios, not confirmed predictions. Please understand this. This is just an opinion. Here is my bullish scenario, a kind of optimistic scenario against a backdrop of relief. But these things have to happen, right? Here he is. The market is stabilizing after Thursday's drop . Semiconductor stocks are recovering while oil prices are falling.
What to watch out for? Back to Nvidia and the recovery of other major chipmakers. Yes ? Second: Nasdaq regains momentum. So, Nvidia and other chipmakers need to recover. Nasdaq needs to gain or regain momentum. The S&P 500 is holding onto its early gains. The breadth of the market is improving beyond a handful of large companies.
They are essentially talking about broader participation, not just companies like the Magnificent Seven. This should be broader participation. Trading indicator: A rebound would be more convincing if tech stocks and the broader market were rising together. This is your “bullish” scenario. Here is your neutral scenario .
Volatile sideways trading. Investors are buying up some undervalued stocks but remain cautious about AI valuations and geopolitical events. So, they buy a little, but without fanaticism. What to watch out for? The Dow outperforms the Nasdaq. Mixed results among technology stocks. Some feel good, some feel bad.
This is mixed dynamics. Markets move in both directions after the release of economic data. Trading conclusion: Don't assume that the morning move will determine the rest of the session. For me, it's the 10:00 AM rule. The 10:00 AM rule, period. In my opinion, the first 30 minutes of the market are the most volatile.
For me, it's the 30-minute rule . And now your " bear" scenario. We have a "bull", a neutral scenario and a "bear". And here is the " bear". Another stage of decline. The situation may worsen. The sell-off in technology stocks continues. Oil remains expensive, or economic data increases inflation fears.
What to watch out for? Nasdaq sets new lows. Continued weakness in semiconductor stocks . Rising Treasury yields amid persistent inflation fears. The sale is spreading to other market sectors. Trading conclusion: If the technology sector weakens and the S&P 500 fails to stabilize, traders should be wary of further downside risks.
Again , this is not financial advice, just my personal opinion, guys. Please do your own research. Check every fact. Key indicators to watch on Friday. S&P 500: why is it worth following? Will buyers defend Thursday's closing zone? Here's what you need to find out. Will buyers enter the game tomorrow?
I don't know. We'll see. Nasdaq: Will tech stocks stabilize after a sharp drop? Will buyers come? I personally believe that there are some opportunities in the market. Key indicators: Nvidia and semiconductors, whether the AI sector will start to recover or continue to weaken. 10-Year Treasury Bonds: Are Rising Yields Pressuring Growth Stock Valuations?
WTI and Brent oil. Are inflationary and geopolitical fears driving up oil prices? And then—the breadth of the market. Is the growth extending beyond individual non-tech stocks? That's it, man. That's all I have for you. Oh, let me give you one last thing. This is the last thing I have for you. My forecast for Friday, October 23.
I would approach Friday cautiously, paying particular attention to technology and semiconductor stocks. A rebound after Thursday's drop is possible, but I would like to see signs of stabilization before talking about reaching a market bottom. The key question is whether Thursday was a temporary pullback or the beginning of a deeper revaluation of the value of AI.
The three things I will be watching most closely are whether Nvidia stock and Treasury yields stabilize , and whether Nvidia and semiconductor stocks recover . This is the first thing. The second thing I will watch is whether oil prices and Treasury yields will remain high. And third, will the S&P 500 and Nasdaq indices be able to hold their closing levels and begin a recovery.
Remember what Tom Lee said. The sale may already be coming to an end. Lee believes that the fear surrounding AI funding and overheated investments has created an opportunity for investors willing to see through short-term volatility. You see, this is the main thing. Are you ready to see through short-term volatility?
Trophies go to the brave. Tom Lee sees buying opportunities in the AI and semiconductor sectors. He particularly singled out chipmakers, AI cloud companies , software companies, and the so- called "Magnificent Seven." He singled them out. Tom Lee believes that AI fundamentals remain strong. His argument is that AI-related businesses continue to be an important source of revenue growth, despite concerns about the cost of building AI infrastructure.
Let me know in the comments, guys, what you think about Tom Lee's words. Is this true? I think so, but personally I have to play the long game. All this short-term fuss—it's a bit like playing thimble. Why? Because we have a " fairy dust machine" at work here, creating all sorts of chaos. I've told you and I'll keep telling you: their entire method of governance is to maintain chaos in the news cycle 24 hours a day.
That's why the leader of " fairy dust" stays up at night one, two, three, and fasts all the time, because for him it never stops. This is how ... This is how you go from, you know, maybe a billion dollars to... I don't know what the net worth is right now. And again , I'm just expressing my opinion.
That doesn't mean it's true, right? What really worries me is the long-term perspective. Just do n't get me wrong. I would be happy to play for a short period of time, but I just know these guys can't be here forever . We will not be in this situation with Iran forever . We will not lift sanctions on Russia forever.
The maximum is two more years. But if Democrats step in and take control of Congress, they will begin to slow down this process. And what will happen to the market? More confidence, because now you, we have a system of checks and balances. You see, right now you have no checks and balances, and the market knows it.
The market could maneuver around him in 2025 because he was too fixated on these tariffs. Remember, he said that these tariffs would reduce the national debt. Do you remember him saying that? Last time I checked, and I'm not very good at math, at least last fiscal year, they collected $175 billion in tariff revenue.
That's the problem. National...That's the problem. Our national debt is 40 trillion dollars. I'm not very good at math, so please help me figure it out. You collect 175 billion . Your national debt is 40 trillion. Am I missing something? I'm not sure how 175 with the letter "M" ( billions) will cover 40 with the letter "T" ( trillions).
Can someone help me with this math? I'm not very good at math, but it seems like 40 trillion is a long way from 175 billion. And on top of that, you might have to give some of it back, because the Supreme Court has already ruled that most of it was illegal. So you will have to give a significant portion back to the big corporations.
You and I will get nothing, but large corporations will get some of the money back. So this whole idea of "oh, we're going to," "oh, we have $20 trillion in investments." But still, last fiscal year, if you don't believe me, go to the Ministry of Finance website. You need to go to the Ministry of Finance website, look at the results of the last fiscal year and the budget.
Look what they collected. They collected about $5.4 trillion in revenue from federal income taxes , Social Security, Medicare taxes, and that tiny 2% or 3% they collected from tariffs. Are we going to pay off the national debt with this? Go and look at this. It's on the website. They raised 5.4 trillion.
The problem is that our budget involves spending over 7 trillion. Where are they going to get the other 2 trillion? Treasury bonds. The problem now is that a third of that 40 trillion has to be paid out. Almost a third. It's time for payments. Maybe a little less than a third, but the time for payment has come.
And now you'll have to refinance it at a higher interest rate. Isn't that right ? And all other new debt will have to be taken out at a higher rate. So now, if you look at the latest budget, not a budget, but a financial report of the United States government for the last fiscal year. Look at the income, look at the expenses.
When you look at the expenses and analyze them, guess how much we paid last fiscal year in interest. Over 1 trillion dollars. Guess how much we paid in 2020. About 350 billion. Yes. So this 2 trillion that we are missing, we have to borrow through Treasury bonds, bills, and notes. The problem is that you will pay a higher rate.
You're probably going to be very close to $2 trillion in interest costs over the next few years because these people are going to continue to build up this national debt. Over the past 22 months, they have added at least 3 trillion to it . Because remember, at the end of the '24th, it was about 3. It was about 36 trillion.
That's about 36 trillion, perhaps with a small tail at the end of 2024. Now, by the end of 2026, it will be at least 41.41 and a half trillion. So, we are in trouble. And here's what they will try to do to get out of this situation. They will trigger inflation, right? Because you see what the point is, when you promote inflation , how do they do it?
They are going to pour trillions and trillions of dollars into the economy. At some point they will, guys. They're going to pour trillions and trillions of dollars into our economy, which will then lead to what? This will lead to an increase in asset prices. Just like it was after the pandemic. You know that's exactly what they did after the pandemic.
That's why housing prices have doubled. You see, the thing is, when you pour trillions and trillions of dollars into our economy, guys, someone is going to take that money and start buying everything like crazy. The problem is that demand will exceed supply. Remember, we just talked about this. You have more demand than supply, so it drives up asset prices: real estate, stocks, gold, and silver.
Anything that has value becomes more expensive. The only people who don't benefit from this or participate in it are people who don't have assets. If you own assets like I do, this is my personal opinion, if you own assets like I do: real estate, stocks, gold and silver, even crypto, once they start pouring in these trillions, prices are going to skyrocket, guys.
The only ones who won't benefit are people who don't have assets. That's why I'm here every day and I'm asking you to think about assets. Because it's coming. You see, this is what they want us to think is supposed to happen. They're going to fill all of this with money, these trillions and trillions.
And so they will try to write off the national debt. It won't work, but at least it will push assets up. And people who own assets now will potentially be winners. Of course, it wo n't happen tomorrow, but it will happen someday. This has to happen. And I will be ready for that . I don't know about you.
