01. Uh Prime Minister, uh the Wall Street Journal says Canada is going to become an associate member of the European Union. What do you have to say about that? The European Union is a collapsing society. Doesn't matter. They're opening up a location in Canada if we like it or not. If we voted for this or we didn't, Mark Carney's busted after yesterday's leak joining the European Union.

02. He didn't even deny it. He's just repackaging it. Mark Carney's European gamble will be the biggest failure for Canada yet. Let's get into this report. Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal broke the explosive news that Canada is looking to join the EU as an associate member. Mark Carney has broken his silence.

03. Did he deny this claim? Not exactly. Uh Prime Minister, uh the Wall Street Journal says Canada is going to become an associate member of the European Union. What do you have to say about that? Look, uh we're we're we're not looking to become a member of the European Union. What we are looking and beginning to will begin discussions for unique alliance with uh the European Union between Canada and European Union.

04. We share the same values. We have the same priorities. Uh and we have very complementary strengths. Uh we're stronger together and this is at a time when the world's more dangerous and divided and friends need to stick together these times. Don't you love it when he says the world is more dangerous and divided?

05. Before he says anything, he always reminds us of how dangerous and divided the world is. We didn't hear that the world was dangerous or divided until he showed up into our lives. Justin Trudeau never said the world's dangerous or divided. Wouldn't it be nice if a leader provide hope as opposed to fear?

06. I don't know about you, but I don't share the same values as Europe does. I share North American values. So, what values exactly is he talking about? Is it Muslim values or radical woke values? Which values is he talking about? Love to hear from you in the comment section. The values that he says we are so aligned with.

07. What are those? There's one thing he didn't mention, which is the most important thing, is geography. 90% of the Canadian population is 150 km away from the US border. No matter how much we want to align with somebody else, you can't change geography. Mark Carney corrected the record. He's We're not going to be an associate member of the EU.

08. We're going to have a unique alliance. I have a question for everybody out there. What's the difference? Did he even define what the difference is? I asked all of you out there what you felt the difference was. Let's take a look at some of your responses. Here's my question. What's the difference between associate member and unique alliance?

09. Brian Matthews, branded t-shirts. The amount of money that you have to bribe von der Leyen with. Just one step at a time until we're officially part of the EU without having to say it. Might be on to something. Verbiage, no difference. It's all the wording. Manipulate into believing it's a nothing burger when it's something but put all Canadians in jeopardy and should not be going forwards.

10. A con man going around addressing other governments begging to be a ruler while he refuses to stand accountable here in Canada. Michelle, very well said. Oh, look. We got a elbows up avocado bro in the comment section. What is it about you that you are against? Why is every move that he makes a bad one for you?

11. And I just responded to this wonderful comment, "My standard of living hasn't improved whatsoever since Mark Carney showed up into my life." Has your standard of living improved or is everything more expensive and nothing has improved? Let's see what this elbows up person says. Sure, just give the guy a chance, you know.

12. He needs a chance. He deserves some runway. No one is changing everything overnight. What do you think about his comment? Nothing is going to change ever with him except for continued national decline. We shouldn't be giving this guy a blank check and runway at all. It's been 18 months. What does he have to show for 18 months in power?

13. I can't name one thing. A new poll came out, the majority of Canadians see the US as an enemy and Trump is the reason. They have 41% of Canadians now describe the US as an enemy country. An enemy country. We still sell 80 uh nearly 80% of all our goods goes down to the US. Imagine they stopped trade overnight because of a poll like this.

14. So, that's why I said, if the United States stopped all trade to Canada, would it be well deserved? Let me know in the comments section. Mark Carney's middle power speech he did in Davos just got obliterated by Jamie Dimon at JP Morgan and he did not mince words. He says it's a fantasy. Europe's GDP relative to the Americans fell roughly from 90% to 70% and Dimon says high taxes and bad policy will continue to drag it lower.

15. I love it when Mark Carney gets called out. And this is just 24 hours before this entire EU thing has exploded. We're trying to close in ties with a collapsing society. Check this out. I don't think it's all going to work at all. Like when Mark Carney said, you know, the middle power should get together, it's a fantasy.

16. They did that. It's called Europe. You know, and It is hard to go to a CFR event these days where Europe doesn't get dumped on, I'm afraid. No, no, but Europe But this this is a serious problem. The GDP of Europe has gone up from 90% of America to 70%. And at the current and and our view is it will probably continue to erode over time because high taxes, I'm not against social safety nets and we should probably talk about that a little bit, too, but they're too high and ineffective a lot of countries.

17. Uh they're they have 100% debt to GDP, also, but you know, growing slow is much worse with 100% debt to GDP than growing fast. And and um and they're you know, kind of kind of anti-business, you know, poor tax structures that stop investment. Capital formation generally drives growth. A lot of that capital is moving here.

18. Like here here are some big numbers for you. Our stock exchange is worth, I think, 60, maybe 70 trillion today. Uh you know, Deutsche Börse, three. You know, the FTSE and the UK, four. The French one, three. You know, and and that is serious stuff and and and there's not a deep recognition. So, Mario Draghi wrote this great report.

19. That is what they need to do. Have a real European Union, open you know, trade services to everyone in there, have a big common market, have a growth strategy and policies that can can drive growth and um uh and we should help them. Are you optimistic or pessimistic about their capacity to actually do those things?

20. Yeah, unfortunately, I'm I'm always an optimist, but unfortunately, I'm pessimistic. I'm pessimistic that we're going to solve our debt problem until there's a crisis. You know, I hope it's a mild crisis, but uh but the it will happen one day. You know, have the bond vigilantes will be back and everyone will act surprised and we'll have to do something.

21. Mark Carney continues to get humiliated. Maybe this EU thing is actually what's going to wake up Canadians. The EU thing is the most catastrophic worst plan and decision Mark Carney has ever made. This could be it, guys, where we see his popularity fall. We just got some breaking news. Roberta Metsola, which is the president of the European Parliament, has just made an announcement.

22. She has close to 500,000 subscribers on her account. A new chapter for the EU-Canada partnership. Ahead of the Canadian and Mark Carney's address to the Euro Parliament this Thursday. I'm delighted that tonight, the European Parliament Bureau has endorsed the establishment of an EP antenna office in Ottawa.

23. A stronger presence that facilitates parliamentary exchanges across the Atlantic with a regional remit reaching as far as the Arctic. Europe and Canada, old friends still writing a new page together. How do you feel about the European Union opening up an office in sovereign Canada? You know, a sovereign country called Canada?

24. I don't want the European Union to have an office and dictating what's going to happen in our parliament or voicing their opinion and and influencing policies in Canada. How do you feel about this? This is some breaking news. I feel it's a good time for a meme. My investments are in the United States.

25. I ask my supporters to keep their investments in Canada. Don't ask me why. We just got some breaking news. A The single largest private sector capital investment in history of Canada through Bell AI Saskatchewan expansion. This thing is going to be $52 billion expansion for guess what? Data AI centers.

26. How do you feel about Canada being a hub of this data AI centers? What I've heard is it uses a ton of power, lots of water, and if you're close to these things, I wouldn't want to live too close to these things. I have to do more analysis, but how do you feel about them collecting all this data on us?

27. What are they going to do with all this data? Exposed. J.D. Vance came out and said the reason that the Canada-US trade blew up is because of China. J.D. Vance explicitly says that Chinese products make their way into Canada and then find its way into the United States. If this is true, this changes everything.

28. This is not about Donald Trump. It's about Ottawa refusing to align against China. Check this out. Like that we all love candidates, obviously a friendly country in a lot of ways, their government has imposed extraordinary trade restrictions on American workers all across our country for many years.

29. Now, you see this in some cases in the agricultural space where, you know, if if you buy a pound of butter from Canada, we're not applying any tariffs on it, or at least we weren't. But if we actually send agricultural products into Canada, sometimes our farmers are paying 200%, 300%. The same basic principles applying to a lot of manufactured goods.

30. And at the same exact time, while Canada is imposing a whole host of tariffs on our workers and a whole host of export and import controls on American workers, they're letting products come in from the People's Republic of China with nothing like that level of restriction. So, what the president is doing here, it's not in an effort to hurt anybody, certainly not in the United States, not even in Canada.

31. We're trying to make things more fair. And what we're saying to the Canadian government is if you want access to American markets, you have to be fair to American workers. This is going to lead to a place that's much better for American workers. I think, frankly, much better for Canadian workers, too, but they've got to be more fair.

32. And if they're going to mistreat American workers, then it's incumbent upon the President of the United States to fight back, which is is what he's doing right now. What do you guys think? I think there's some truth to it. If there's stuff that's coming into Canada cheap, manufactured from China, and making their way into the United States, I I don't blame them for being upset.

33. We need to align ourselves with a North American strategy. Hopefully, that's not why we don't have a trade deal with the United States. You know what the most frustrating thing is? The liberals never tell the truth. Thanks to Richard Diaz on X, he's provided this chart. The only thing that the liberals show is the foreign direct investments into Canada is at record high, which is the gray line.

34. But, check out the red line with direct investments abroad. That's Canadians investing outside of Canada. And the blue line is an indication of the net foreign direct investments, meaning we are negative. And we've been negative ever since the liberals have shown up into our lives. And look, it's heading downwards, meaning there is a mass exit of capital out of this country, as opposed to what the liberals are saying, record investment.

35. And of which, the investments that are coming into Canada, they're purchasing our firms to So, that means foreigners are buying our companies up, and we're losing ownership of our companies. Is that what you want, Canada? The chart provided by Table Salt on X shows the price at the consumer price index of beef in Canada.

36. Since 2015, the price of beef has increased four times over, 424%. If you still vote liberal after this, because the housing chart is exactly the same. And if you took a look at the M2 money supply, it looks exactly like this. The more money that they print, the higher the prices get. I got a clip of David Suzuki, which is estimated to be worth over $25 million.

37. He made a fortune on his climate nonsense. He goes on national news, claims that we need to rip up all investment prospects coming into Canada for this investment forum because it's bad for the planet. He's allowed to make millions of dollars, but you you're not allowed to make any money. The funniest part is that the end he claims that he is crazy.

38. You think? If we are not going to deal with the fact that the economy with its commitment to growth and then economic system that doesn't value the natural world or the the fundamental things that we need to live, the rupture should be we you must rupture our commitment or our involvement in that crazy system.

39. And yet it's the driving force in whatever mark is going to get out of this meeting today and tomorrow. Let's Let's focus on the real problem. We are a species who have created economic, political, and legal systems and it's all about us and the natural world that keeps us alive isn't built into these systems.

40. So I don't care what's going to happen in the with this may be the right thing in the short run, but it hasn't dealt with the real problem. David Suzuki very early there in British Columbia. I sound crazy. I know I sound crazy. Sometimes crazy has been very good in our world. I think you know that. Yeah.

41. Thank you so much. David Suzuki, appreciate it. My next question becomes why does CBC give people like this airtime? Here's Donald Trump on Air Force One this morning talking about Canada. You've talked a lot about Canada just in the recent weeks or so. You you keep saying also that Russia and China that Canada is more dangerous to the US than Russia and China.

42. I said they're more difficult to deal with. I find Canada to be the worst country to deal with. Really? difficult country. With that being said they're dying to make a deal. I find Canada to be very very difficult to deal with. Their leaders not the people the people are fantastic. But I find them to be very very difficult.

43. And they've ripped off our country for years but they don't rip them off. Yeah we have a lot of tariffs a lot more tariffs are coming in. Don't forget on January 1st car the big one is cars. Does that look like a man that's going to be backing down to Mark Carney and the liberals? He's going full steam ahead.

44. He does say that we're getting close to a deal but how are we going to get close to a deal if we're continuing this elbows up rhetoric and forming unique alliances with the EU and China. There's a current poll that's happening. Are you happier today or 10 years ago? In the news Canada's national happiness score rose to 70.5 out of 100 the ledger happiness index.

45. Let's see where the poll is right now. 96% are less happy today based on 2267 votes. Only these ones are happy. That's it for today's report. What was the best part of this report? Was it Mark Carney getting called out with his Davos middle power speech? I absolutely love that. But I'm a little bit concerned that the EU is opening up an office in Ottawa.

46. What exactly does this mean? And what's the difference between this unique alliance and associate member? To me it's all the same is it not? I can't wait to read my comment section. I absolutely love all of you out there. I hope you're having a wonderful Monday. I'll see you on the next report.
