Hey everyone, glad you're back! Here's a video about BlackRock. CEO Larry F is increasingly becoming a major player in blockchain and Bitcoin. He definitely announced this in a recent interview. He sees the future of all finance as decentralized or tokenized, presumably running on blockchain technology and an open ledger, something we've only seen before with Bitcoin, blockchain, and crypto projects.
And today we're taking a look at one of those projects. We'll give you a brief overview. Those of you who have been around for a while know we did n't just become aware of BlackRock and similar players through the Spot ETF. No, we've had BlackRock on our radar since the very beginning of their crypto exposure.
A year ago, we even had the headline "BlackRock launches private trust offering direct Bitcoin exposure." By the way, for those who do n't know, I always share the link to these old videos in the top right corner of the screen. There you can review all the sources and other information. We definitely made a big deal about it a year ago.
BlackRock is now offering Bitcoin, or has added Bitcoin to a $15 trillion global asset location fund. Added, and these are precisely the news items that already served us over a year ago to be bullish on Bitcoin at prices of... what were we in this video? Where were the Bitcoin prices then? At prices exactly at the Bitcoin bottom, we went in.
B stands for bottom, or BlackRock is really buying Bitcoin now. The title was, of course, like, never forget, thanks for all your ratings always under the videos, they were definitely worth their weight in gold, and I also believe that the statements we are simply analyzing and listening to in today's video from the BlackRock CEO will really open your eyes.
Despite this volatile phase, the ETF still rose from $16,000 to $49,000 due to a Selden news event, and you simply aren't taking these facts in at the right time. Because I believe one thing: just as bullish as we were at $1,000 or $16,000, just as optimistic as we were when considering the fundamentals, I am just as optimistic now thanks to the new statements.
Just so we have a rough overview, let's look at the whole topic: BlackRock launches private trust offering direct Bitcoin exposure. Clearly, this was very bullish for us, and... Wow, they're really buying it almost directly at the bottom. I think that was before the FTX crash, it must have been like this.
BlackRock got it for their $15 trillion asset elocation fund, and you can always find the sources directly in my video description. There's a sub-section for sources, so you can definitely always use that. Then, when I was browsing through my channel a bit, I actually found a video that I never uploaded, that I accidentally made private.
So, it got exactly six clicks, and that brings us to BlackRock wanting $25,000 for Bitcoin, the perfect entry point, where we were just talking about this last retest in this bear market and a bit of a recovery phase. I didn't share it publicly for whatever reason. Anyway, the gist of this video was the before-and-after picture that BlackRock has of Bitcoin, this index on money laundering, that Bitcoin has only been used for that purpose, and then Bitcoin is now being applied for by BlackRock for the spot ETF, and the whole thing is simply supposed to reflect this development.
In any case, it has This positive image of BlackRock was further reinforced when they gave extensive media interviews and made significant, positive statements about Bitcoin. The proposal for the Spot ETF was, of course, brilliant. You can find these statements and their sources in the old video linked above.
There, Larry F said it's an international asset, it doesn't belong to anyone, and that's definitely an extremely valuable point. We'll take a quick look at a couple of excerpts. Of course, we also did a bit of chal in the same video, but back then, we were already long Bitcoin. At $22,000, we still had open long positions at $ 29,000 and $28,000.
Page after page, really, we had already established long positions in the $20s thanks to these statements, which can be easily evaluated based on fundamentals and used for speculation. At that time, nobody knew, "Hey, the Spot ETF is coming anyway," and the price was still a bit of a nuisance. Perhaps at $30,000 six months ago, we simply saw another increase in the outlook for cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and Bitcoin when Larry F was BlackRock CEO.
He said in a public interview that they need distributed ledger technology, and that was definitely a starting point for considering, okay, if they now tokenize stocks, and so on and so forth, the whole thing has to run transparently somewhere, be priced, maybe you need an oracle, maybe you need something like Chainlink, maybe you need a Layer Zero solution, in any case, I also became aware of this, and then Larry F topped it again, saying that Bitcoin will outlive every currency, every currency, or rather surpass Transcend, and that this is due to huge global interest.
And what are Larry F's current positions? Has he now thrown in the towel after the ETF, said, okay, it was sold off, we didn't go to 100,000, we're leaving the blockchain/Bitcoin topic now? Then let's just take the latest interview where he talks again about the future of finance, and let's just take a look at that now.
ETF Bitcoin, we believe ETFs are technology, no Bitcoin was a technology for asset storage, we believe the next step going forward will be the tokenization of financial assets and that means Stock every Bond will have its own basically it will be on general Invest and you will own numbers, they themselves, all of which are bond stocks, tokenization, but most importantly, we customize strategies through tokenization.
Individually, we would have instantaneous. Just think about all the cost of Sling bonds and stocks, but if you had a tokenization, it would be mediated because of the technological transformation for financial assets. You talk about voting and choice and all things. If we know who owns that vote, then we have ownership.
Here again, he talks about investing being about perhaps predicting the next step. For BlackRock, this is relatively easy because what they will do next will be the next big step in the financial market, and they know exactly what their next step is. He explains this, but if you 're not in crypto, if you don't know what a token is, then you ask, " How does he want to tokenize my stock?
What do I do? Do I have a coin, a token, or what am I doing?" But we as crypto people know exactly what is meant. Or, if he says, "Okay, we want to have this on a distributed ledger," we want to know exactly which market participant holds which shares. Whoever votes, we want everything in transparent perfection.
Because we have a bit of technical understanding of his words, we can say, "Hey, maybe the whole thing will be launched on Ethereum. Maybe chainling will be needed. Maybe, maybe, maybe." And we've already seen that with the first transaction from BlackRock using a tokenized security. They've actually already carried out transfers on the Onix chain, which is a private blockchain with the EAC20 standard from Ethereum.
It's quite an exciting thing. Of course, one can speculate on it. Naturally, there's another statement where it really goes more into speculation. Basically, we're in favor of it. We don't give investment advice and we don't interpret what Larry F says. It doesn't always have to be spot on, but we just look at what he says directly.
"Frighten people, fearful geolal RIS, they fearful of their own R, different than what gold and Bitcoin" has also roughly reflected how global interest in this blockchain technology could grow or has grown. And now, of course, one thing is important: we started quite early. We had a hunch about it, but even so, it didn't protect us from a 20% correction.
We also had a correction of almost 22-23% in between, and now that this big bull run factor ETF was perhaps sold off a bit for various reasons, due to different toconomic conditions, by market participants like Grace Gellon Co., we've had a 15% correction. And we know that during bull runs, even more severe 30-38% corrections can occur.
That's about the maximum I can estimate. That can happen, even if Larryf is convinced, even if the big asset managers are pushing and promoting their Bitcoin ETF. And now I'll show you the factors that I personally assess the situation with, or rather, how I'm currently monitoring it so that I always have an up-to-date overview of how the Bitcoin ETF is performing.
First, social media, Twitter. This hot topic is constantly being shared there, and we also see, for example, various Twitter accounts posting very good results or very good real-time information. For example, we had a weekly crypto asset flow of a positive 1200% Bitcoin move upwards, which of course Very good, but this needs to be sustainable in the long run.
What's missing from this statistic—and I've also translated it into German and shared it here on Twitter and elsewhere—is that GBT, with 600,000 Bitcoins, is almost 20 times larger and isn't included in the statistics. Yes, January 10th, 11th, and 12th are only three days, and we naturally want to see continuous growth.
But a factor, a bar, a market participant that's 30 times larger than this bar in the chart isn't even included. Presumably, or as you can see, many Bitcoins are being moved out of the Greyscale Bitcoin ETF and invested in another ETF. Until these capital amounts are shifted, this can be somewhat misleading in the price.
It can certainly dampen hope, whatever it may be. But imagine this: Bitcoin has risen so incredibly, and yet the market still manages to make people wonder at $2700 if that's it for the Bitcoin price. People are skeptical; they're afraid. Of course, it's a damper. The higher we rise, the higher it will get.
The probability of a correction is high, but no matter where we're headed, our price target is at least the all-time high. And as long as I'm still considering buying Bitcoin below the all-time high, if I've already seen this maximum price increase without the Spot ETF app, without the BlackRock Global Asset Trillion Dollar Allocation Fund, etc., which I just showed, and if it's already risen this far without that, then I feel perfectly justified in buying a little bit of Satoshis even at $4,000.
