hey guys hope everyone's having a fantastic day today today I'm gonna be starting a new short video series regarding cryptocurrency specifically cryptocurrency in Canada now this is a topic that I'm particularly very interested in when I was researching this topic I didn't think there was enough information out there so I did a lot of research and I can help I think a lot of people out with this I've been getting a lot of requests from friends and I've actually got a few requests from subscribers as well so this these are the major topics I'm gonna cover and then maybe I'll make some additional topics and future videos if people are interested so most important topics here buying cryptocurrency in Canada ie trading your Canadian dollars into various cryptocurrencies out there next one I'm going to cover is trading cryptocurrency in Canada so there are literally thousands of different types of crypto currencies out there that you may want to invest in I'm gonna cover how you can have access to those and trade what you initially buy into those ones and the last topic I'm going to cover is cashing out of crypto currency in Canada which a lot of people are not familiar with that procedure but I'll show you guys the way I use for that okay so first of all to get a better understanding of some of the content in this video when I say crypto currency I refer to any of the coins whether it's but going aetherium like coin or any of the other crypto currencies these are the major topics we're gonna cover so first one like I said trading your Canadian dollars into crypto currency and there's two main exchanges that I use for this I use coin base and I use quadriga and they both have different pros and cons and I use them for a little bit different reasons coin base is nice because it's instant you can make an account and make a purchase literally within minutes the verification process on the website it's instant it's all done by computer and you can buy with your credit card or your debit card so I'm going to walk you guys through how to make an account on that and how to make your first purchase the other exchange I'm going to talk about and I'll walk you through this one as well is quadriga CX the benefits of this is they have cheaper fees than coinbase and they allow you to purchase significantly greater quantities of cryptocurrencies so they have much higher deposit limits that they allow you to do however on quadriga you need to be verified and their verification process is not automated so that will take maybe up to a week for you to get verified and then you need to get your deposit method verified as well so in total for me I was all registered and ready to go on quadriga in about a week and a half so I used coinbase up until then and I still use coinbase when I want to make some instant purchases and I don't want to wait for funds to transfer like I do on my quadriga account but when I want to make bigger purchases I will use my quadriga account because it's a little bit cheaper okay so first let's go through these accounts here so I'm going to take Internet tab here first one is coinbase all right guys feel free to click the first link in description which is the coinbase link and that will take you to the sign up page and you can follow along with me now coin base like I said allows you to make an account right away and get trading so you're just gonna go to sign up here in the top right hand corner and you're gonna put in your information so once you put in your information I'm just gonna skip the one that it's done alright guys so once you enter in your information they're gonna send you a verification email to your email box so you're just gonna click on that verification email and that will verify your account so I just got my verification email off screen here I'm gonna click verify and then it should automatically redirect me here there you go so now you're on that coin base site so you're just gonna put in your phone number now and this is to set up your two-factor authentication punch in the number here that gets sent to your phone and then you can verify all right guys so once you've got your information keyed in there you can press login it's going to take you through a couple more verification steps and the verification steps are to verify your method of payment and also to verify your identity so just follow along with the steps presented to you on-screen so once you've verified your information on coinbase you can see the three coins that they allow you to purchase at this point time which is Bitcoin theorem and litecoin so now you're ready to purchase let's say you're looking to purchase a theorem today so you're gonna go up top into the buy and sell tab once you're in there you're just gonna highlight etherium you're gonna select your method of payment here my credit card and then you're gonna enter the amount that you would like to purchase now your initial limit will be between a hundred dollars and two hundred and fifty dollars and the limits are weekly on coinbase the more pieces of identity that they verify the more confident they feel that the account is actually yours and they will increase your limits accordingly so you can click the amount you want to buy say it's a hundred dollars I want to buy 0.095 etherium and you can see on the right hand side here I'm gonna buy zero point nine five one four ninety six dollars and sixteen cents Canadian and then a fee of three dollars and eighty four cents and their fees on coinbase range between three and a half percent and four percent depending on how much you're purchasing one thing to keep in mind because you can actually use your credit card to purchase on coinbase a lot of credit cards give you a percentage of the funds that you spent back so my credit card I get about one and a half percent cash back so that's some extra savings I'll get by buying through coinbase so then you click buy instantly and then that transaction will process and then you'll be able to see that when you click on your account you're gonna see the etherium show up right here in your aetherium wallet on the account so now to look at the next exchange which is quad riga so guys now is the time to go down to the description click on that second link for the quad riga account sign up and then you'll be able to follow along with me will i go through the next steps and show you how to use quad riga so quadriga as I mentioned earlier it's beneficial in the sense that it allows you to purchase a significantly greater amount of cryptocurrency the deposit limit is much higher and that's because this is a Canadian company and they can deal with Canadian banks so it allows them to save a lot in terms of fees and they also allow you to deposit more money so you're just gonna go to register now and you can follow the referral link that I put in the description for this and it take you right to the signup page so you're gonna enter your account type you're gonna enter your email first name last name date of birth country of residence and once you enter in all that information you're just going to continue on to the site once you get your account verified on quadriga you can actually deposit funds that you have on here into your Canadian bank account as well which is really nice most other exchange don't offer for Canadian customers the last exchange and frankly the exchange that I use by far the most is finance all right you guys can take this opportunity to click on the finance referral signup link in the description and that will take you to the sign up and registration page so you can follow along with my tutorial now for finance finance is an awesome exchange for many different reasons first of all they don't actually require any ID verification when you sign up which is nice because you can keep that anonymity when you sign up for their exchange they offer tons of different coins to buy and sell on their exchange look at this huge list so finance really has one of the best options they always have different kind of promotions going on where you can win prizes based on trading also the fees on finance are extremely low for trading it's 0.1% to trade which is lower than most other exchanges out there another thing finance adds new tokens faster than most other exchanges so it allows you to get in a little bit quicker on some of those and Finance has a withdrawal limit of up to two bitcoins for unverified accounts which there's no other exchanges that have any work comparable to that high withdraw limit without actually being verified which is nice so you can click on the link in the description to my link to sign up with finance and it's gonna take you to this register page here so you're just gonna put in your email your password I swear it again and then the referral idea and I'll annotate mine on the screen or you could just click the link in the description like I said you're gonna agree to the finance Terms of Service and then you're gonna register once you're registered on Finance then you're gonna go over to the top and you're gonna to funds deposits and withdraws then you can see all the different tokens that they have here to offer on finance so whatever you chose to purchase on coin base whether it's etherium or light coin you're gonna find the respective tokens so say you purchased aetherium on either coin base or quadriga then you're gonna click deposit so once you've found your aetherium deposit address you're gonna copy this one here and then you're gonna go on to coin base now and you're gonna go to send funds right here so I don't have any a theorem so it won't let me show you that but I can show you with Bitcoin so once you press send you just paste that wallet from finance on here and then you're gonna enter the amount that you want to send so once you click the space you can click the send max button and that will fill all the quantity you have in the send field it will let me do that because the address I have is not valid because it's a Bitcoin address and not an aetherium address like I'm trying to transfer it into then you're just gonna press continue at the bottom so then what's gonna happen then is it's going to send your funds from coinbase or from quadriga it's the same process on quadriga to your finance account and then you're going to click funds and you can click history and it will show up as a pending transaction so give it about 10 to 15 minutes before the funds are totally transferred from your coin base or your quadriga account to your finance and once those funds are deposited you are off to the races and start trading for other cryptocurrencies so then you're gonna click on the theory a marketplace because you have a theorem deposited in your account right now and these are all the other cryptocurrencies that you can purchase with your aetherium so say you want to buy some power ledger with your aetherium you can click on that right there you can go buy power ledger you can enter the price that you're willing to buy at so right now if I want to wait for this dip maybe I'm gonna enter in this digit here on the right hand side then you're gonna set the amount here that you want to purchase based on how much aetherium you have to pause it into this account so you can press 100% so right now I only have three power Ledyard tokens worth of aetherium in this account so then you can go ahead and press buy and that's gonna put your buy order on the order book and when it hits your desired price it's gonna execute that order and you will own that amount of power later tokens if you want to buy instantly you can go to a market order and it will automatically give you the best price that's available right now and then you can click 100% of your aetherium tokens you want to transfer into Power ledger and you can click buy and it will fulfill that order for you at the exact market price so Finance is my favorite exchange it's a lot of fun to play around and trade some of these different tokens on here it's been an incredibly bull market as of lately and you can see some of the changes just in the last 24 hours for a lot of these tokens on here most stuff is pretty well in the green so like I said finance is my favorite exchange this is what I do most of my trading and the link is in the description to sign up for finance and start trading on this platform and the last step guys let's say you bought in some crypto currency either through a coin base or quadriga you traded it on Finance and now you're at a million dollars then you want to cash out then you're just gonna go back into your quadriga account and you're gonna use the withdraw feature on quadriga and they will get the funds deposited to your account you can even select to get the funds sent to your front door in cash in a package it sounds a little bit sketchy so I don't know I don't trust the postman with a big package of cash at least not in my area but that's definitely an option you guys can take on quadriga in addition to just regular bank deposits so I hope this video was helpful for you guys I tried to cover all the major points that I wasn't able to easily find information on when I first started looking into this if you
