Hello everyone welcome back to our channel Engineer Stock and my name is Soni Sharma. Before starting the video I want to ask you all an interesting thing. Can you imagine that a normal person who does not have any special education can perform bypass surgery on a patient or any other normal person can design a building?
Then many of you might be thinking that this is not possible because these fields require knowledge. But there is an industry in the whole world where a normal person can beat a top class expert. And this is called stock market investing because here you do not need much technical knowledge. Here anyone from the most normal person can invest.
So in today's video we are going to learn some such lessons with the help of which you can make your life easier by investing in stock marketing, whether your non-banking financial company or private sector. Financial mixes are all things that don't matter. By using your existing knowledge, you can earn good profits in the stock market and create a significant amount of wealth for yourself.
So, friends, this video is going to be about an important lesson in the history of betting, which inspires investors to earn significant profits from investing. First, I would like to tell you about this book: it is a rich knowledge base that explains how finance and investing work in reality. Peter Link and John Rod Child, the authors of this book, are known worldwide for their extensive experience in investment decisions.
Their books are ideal for people who want to achieve large-scale success in the stock market. This book explains the concept of successful investing in a very easy way. Let's talk about the lessons of this book. In lesson number one, a research was done on seventh standard children. The children's portfolio performed better than the mutual fund professionals.
The most, that is, they performed very well. In fact, not just well, they performed very well. When the children were told that they have to invest in stocks, they invested in the companies whose products they were already investing in or the companies they understood the most. The names of the companies in their stock portfolio were Walmart, Disney, Nickelodeon, Pepsi, IBM, Gap, Coca-Cola and many other companies which these children understood.
The portfolio of these children generated more than 70% profit in the period of 2 years from 1990 to 1991, whereas the average mutual fund generated a return of only 26% in this period. After this, it was found out in the performance of school children that their portfolios It performed three times better than the average mutual fund.
So, they had to understand how this happened. This logic was locked. So, he called all the students for a meeting in the board room of his office Fertility Mutual Fund and talked to them. After that, Peter talked to their teacher about what instructions were given to the children before selecting the stocks.
Then he came to know that the teachers had told the children that whatever stock they select, they will have to tell the whole class about that company's business. Therefore, those children had to choose such companies whose products and services they were already using. Then those teachers also said that whatever company the children select, they will have to rate the news of that company and tell the whole class what events are happening in that company.
Due to this, the children did not choose many companies but only selected 10 companies from the list. Friends, if we talk about mutual fund managers, they have to rate 40 companies. They have to invest in 50 to 50 companies because they have a huge amount to manage. They ca n't easily create a portfolio of 10 companies.
This is why most mutual funds can't outperform any index or other funds. Even if a fund manager has created a very good portfolio, he can earn a maximum extra return of 20%. Therefore, we normal investors have a special advantage in that we can create a good portfolio of 8 to 10 quality companies where we can easily and effectively beat mutual funds.
So friends, this is Peter Inch's role number one. Something that you can't understand. And here we have understood that when it comes to money, the greed within us humans automatically comes out and the logic gets sidelined. That's why they always say that investing is simple, but It's not easy because you have to follow some simple rules, but following those simple rules is very difficult.
Friends, if you know how to control your behavior, have a good amount of money, and have knowledge of other fields like history, psychology, sociology, and business strategy, then you can perform quite well in the stock market. Friends, moving forward to the second lesson, investing is both a science and an art.
This means that you should know the company's financial performance in detail, but along with that, you should also have an idea of its business and where it will go in the future. Because if investing were just a game of mathematical concepts, where you analyze a company by looking at its company's cash members and see at what rate its financial ratios grew, then according to that, all the mathematicians and accountants of the world would be rich.
Therefore, in investing, after looking at the financial performance of your company, you will also have to apply your gut feeling, but only this gut feeling is not enough. No, it will come. Along with that, you should also know about business strategy and the actual performance of the company. People calculate and think little, but normal investors think a lot and do not calculate anything.
So this was lesson number one of the book. Investing is an art and a science. After this, let's talk about the third lesson of the book. The real key to making money is stock. You get scared out of it. This is a very simple line but it is equally important because friends, imagine if you live in Mumbai where the weather is quite comfortable, but suddenly in the winter season the climate becomes very cold and the temperature drops by 5 degrees in a single day and now it comes in the news that something big is going to happen very soon because this has never happened in many years.
So, will you leave your house after hearing this or will you run away to another state? Friends, hardly anyone will do this because you know that all this happens, it is a natural thing. If so, it would be in your best interest to ban the news and follow your safety precautions. Similarly, during the Covid-19 pandemic, when the business crash occurred, and the Sensex fell from ₹40,000 to ₹ 27,000, many news anchors, reporters, and exporters were saying that this is just the beginning, and that Covid- 19 is going to cause significant problems for the Indian economy, and we may see its losses for a long time.
Furthermore, the Sensex could fall from 27,000 to 15,000. Many such things were prevalent in society. But what actually happened was that the Sensex recovered in no time, and now it has gone above 50,000. Therefore, when the stock market crashes, you should understand that market crash is a completely normal thing and it is a sign of economic growth.
The point is, no economy can go in a straight line; there will always be small, big, and small fluctuations. That's why people who see a crash for the first time in their lives tend to panic a lot. If they don't learn from their mistakes, they will keep making mistakes again and again. Due to fear of market prices, they will either not invest at all or sell the stocks they have bought in the midst of a market crash.
Therefore, according to me, everyone can do stock investing and everyone should do it because this is a very good option for middle-class people to create wealth. There are many people who cannot start a business on their own, so they can create a good amount of wealth for themselves by investing in existing businesses.
With this, you just have to control your behavior a little and learn the important concepts of investing. If you are afraid of investing in stocks, then you will have to improve your mindset because if someone is taking insurance If it happens then we only tell him that you should pay attention to your health and get well soon, in this way you should not be afraid of the stock market and keep improving your knowledge and your mind, if you keep doing this then you can make your life easy along with your wealth, if you liked this video then do like and share this video and if you have not yet subscribed to our channel then do that too, we will meet in the next video with some such motivational things, till then bye bye
