hey everyone so this video is about the book Learn to Earn a beginner's guide to the basics of investing and business written by Peter Lynch now for those of you who don't know who Peter Lynch is Lynch is he is one of the greatest investors of all time he was a fund manager I believe the name of the fund was the mellin fund and he was able to consistently yearend get at least 29% for uh for some time and he that actually makes him or that particular fund one of the most successful funds out there and so I think he knows a thing or two about investing and business and so for those of you who are looking for a book on investing and uh business uh definitely check out this book uh there's four parts to this book the only real part that is worth looking at is the second chapter where he dives into the technical aspects of investing the first chapter is dedicated to the history of the stock market the history and the origin so if you're interested then check that out the second part is you know what are some technical things of uh the stock market what to look out for and and Etc the third and the fourth chapter are more on uh on business right so if you're interested in learning about the life of a business or learning about how people have made their money uh through business business then yeah definitely check out those parts but if you're looking for just investing the second chapter is what I would just recommend and so in this video I'm going to share with you one of my favorite Parts which is uh the which talks about the people who have become successful in business now in the fourth chapter which is the last chapter it looks at people who have become successful in business and it's one of the things that he talks about is there isn't one specific industry where people all became millionaires or billionaires if you look at the list of the top richest people they actually became rich in a multitude of Industries and so for yourself don't think oh I have to go to Real Estate or I have to buy it in gold or I have to buy in it or whatever right he what he's saying is though is that you for yourself there isn't one particular way for you to make money there's many ways and so that's one of the favorite one of my favorite parts and so that kind of gives me hope and hopefully gives you hope as well that whatever you decide to go into you can make money and there's this one part in the book that he just talks about that I'd like to share with you it's a quote and he says find something you enjoy doing and give it everything you've got and the money will take care of itself eventually you reach the point where you can afford to spend the rest of your life at the side of a swimming pool with a drink in your hand but you probably won't you'll H you'll be having too much fun at the office to stop working so I thought that that was one of my favorite parts of the book this quote it's just saying you know find what you love doing and everything else will kind of take care of itself and this is exactly what Warren Buffett has said himself there was a question or there's a video of someone asking him oh what is the secret to success or how can I become successful like you and Warren Buffett said you know you got to ask yourself uh what is something that you enjoy doing or what is it that makes you tap dance to work you got to find something that makes you tap dance to work what is it that gets you excited and uh that gets you wanting to go go out of out of your bed to go to work and uh you want something you want a job where you're kind of excited to go to and and sometimes you're kind of angry that you have to go to bed because you're too tired to do the things that you like to do so you so he was saying that the best way to become successful is to find a job or do something that you enjoy doing and this is also what Peter Lynch has said he's saying that you know find something that you really like and the rest will take care of itself all right well anyways I hope you enjoyed this video if you did please give it a thumbs up and yeah check out my uh website of www .
