work at the same place throughout my life. So I understood this game. So, the only thing that remains in my mind is that when I invest in any company, sir, after that I think that this money is not mine. The money I invested in this company is not mine. I have two coats. Your investment belongs to the market.

Your profit belongs to you. Your demat statement belongs to the market. Your bank statement belongs to you. This means that the company you have invested in is like sowing a seed in a plant in which you have invested but each plant can have different outcomes. The input may be the same but the output may be different.

So this is not in our hands. It is within the control of the market. So Geeta teaches us that the thing which is not in your hands. What will you do by worrying about it? So by saying this I religiously follow the fact that it is not in my hands. Some more dynamics will change tomorrow. Some more metrics will change tomorrow.

Today I am thinking that that thing may become irrelevant tomorrow. His tomorrow has no meaning. Like now you talk about inflation, sometimes you might have heard that gold and precious metals are at all time high and stock market is at all time high, all the metrics change within the world. So I think in my mind that this money which I have invested, until I sell those shares, until that money comes to my bank statement from the demat statement, I do not spend that money.

People must be thinking that I have this and that here. Whatever is kept with me in the bank, brother, I have brought whatever I have with me, I am the owner of the urine. I do n't care how much money is there in my demat. So I also said at one place that it is a simple thing that you should not consider that money as yours and this is your daily business, it is your daily work.

If you keep fluctuating in this every day, then even if you win in the market, you will die of blood pressure. So the purpose of life is to be happy. It is not that you should sleep at night with tension. So that will come with practice. That will come with practice and if you practice this then it will come slowly with practice.

So, how big a role does patience play in the investing market now? No, patience from both sides, when I invest, then how much patience do I need, when a share starts rising, to what extent should I have patience and when it starts falling, how much patience should I have and should I exit or how much role does patience play before buying a share, see sir, understand one thing, I had read in childhood that slowly slowly everything happens, the gardener sows the seeds, the season comes and the fruits appear, this is a simple principle of the whole life that work is not going to be done by your thinking, your work is to do it, how the returns will come, it is not in your hands.

And understand one more thing about the stock market, sir, I have a quote that says, chase the story behind the stock, not money on the table. Money will make you rich but story will make you wealthy. So there is a difference between the two things, sir. There is a difference between earning money and earning wealth.

If you want to earn wealth then you will have to be patient here. Like you gave an example that if one of my shares increased 16,000 times, then it took me 16-17 years to do that. Within 16-17 years, it fell 16-17 times and it fell by 2/3 from its 2/3rd peak. Ok? So once I bought it in 2004, I bought it for Rs 30, 40, 305 and it became Rs 15.

I didn't sell anything until later in 2007. When the crisis of Lim & Brothers came, the share which was ₹15 came back to ₹30. So you can imagine my hard work of 5 years. Whatever I had been waiting for for five years or whatever my aspiration or dream was for five years, it all went down the drain. Because the share came back to ₹00.

I still did not sell any shares. Now after that those shares again came back to Rs. 250 in 2014-13. Then there was another recession in 2013 and by then it had come down to 400-500. Then that recession came and then it came down to ₹150. I didn't do anything there either. After that it again became ₹4200.

The one which was 4200 became 1200. The one which was Rs 1200 became Rs 200 during Covid. Before Covid, after Covid, 1800 came. In between, a bonus came into it. Then it became ₹8200 just last year and after that one to one bonus it became ₹16400 actually because my shares have doubled so you will increase the value and it will become 16400 so if you did not have this patience then what would you have done, that 30 became 5.25, the 5.25 would have been 100 and you asked when to sell it then it would have come to your mind that brother sell it, sell it, the 5.25 has become ₹100 I am about to exit, you would have sold it and you would have been happy that 100.25 of 100 has become 30 but the 30 one again became ₹16000 so chase the story behind the stock not money on the table so you would have missed that big story and this comes to you in [ __ ].

Before buying any shares, you first have to understand how long the story of the underlying product in it is. Does she look 5 years old to you, or 20 years old, or 10 years old? First you have to fix that. Then after that Salman Khan says that once I make a commitment, I don't even listen to myself. Then you don't even listen to yourself.
