his father howard was a stockbroker who turned into a congressional representative his father was his inspiration and role model in his business career when buffett was just six years old he made his first business deal he bought a six-pack of coca-cola from his grandfather's grocery store later on he earned a five cent profit by reselling the bottles for a nickel at this age when his other friends were busy playing games this great business-minded person was making profit deals their journey didn't stop there buffett bought his first stock shares of city's service at the cost of 38 dollars per share at the age of 11 in 1941.
