all right hit that QR code below join us here at daytrade the world start your prop firm or improv Journey uh today okay look let's make this real simple real quick man we're gonna hit it we're gonna hit Tesla over and over and over again because why it's moving and we had some big trades the last couple days on it including that 250 short and then yesterday as well some big moves to the downside followed by that Twitter news right so there's lots of stuff Happening Here on Tesla but I just wanted to first talk about it part of part of what being prepared is is just making little notes like this right so I come in every day and I just look at our watch list I try to remember some names I miss Netflix that should be on here and I try to remember some names that are pretty key right so Tesla oxy AMD Amazon they're all right here on the watch list and then are on the sticky note and then I give a little bit of an explanation right so still on watch more selling needed by Elon Musk possibly right we had Webb Bush come out and say that so let's just watch the 240 for a short sell right that's basically all that we were looking at so why 240 well this this is that move down yesterday in Tesla story this is two days ago that's that 240 level right then yesterday we started going to the upside look what happened when we smashed 250 by the way it dropped right there eight dollars almost in a straight line once we broke that this is a three minute chart to show you those two days so here it is that day when we went down to 242 right this is the Monday so we're on Wednesday right now so two days ago Tesla over the weekend released delivery numbers and they weren't great I mean they were still fantastic but they missed by a couple thousand cars so boom to the downside goes Tesla there look where we started at 258 the ending there is 242.
so that's a 16 move basically in the first five minutes so we transfer over to yesterday again look at this respecting this same high right there then the pull down comes why is that pull down well this is when Elon Musk came out and basically agreed to buy Twitter well maybe now he has to liquidate and get some more you know debt financing there's all this talk about how this is possibly going to affect Tesla stock so I honestly just wanted to go short this name today that's why we write on here short sell the first thing to putting something on the list is getting the right names the second part is just to figure out which direction you want so when it hits you can grab it right so boom there's the move back down in and we're just trying to find out this level again we stopped there at 242.
some of those bottoms are like 241. right into there yesterday's 242. but I'm not going to use an odd number like that 41s 42s I'm going to wait for the big move down right and that was this 240 break so it bounced around a little bit it actually broke 240 and then we had to average up we averaged up against ourselves about a dollar fifty so it breaks it doesn't really go down and again this is a three minute chart so I'm not going to dissect it by minute but as it goes back up we then use this 242 as are out right it doesn't breach that 242 and then the collapse happens some of these outs 239 because at this point now the average price that we have is like 240 130 something like that so as it pulls back we start to then get out our first out is actually 240.
we take money then it comes down 239 239 then we wind up getting a 238 which at that point we're well below this 240 line and now we have three or four dollars in the money then it comes down even more and we take another one it bounces around 236. we get some out at 236 and then the flush happens and Neil and I sat there all morning and again you can extend this all the way back you're gonna have to go back pre-split to find levels like this for Tesla so I just threw it out there I put it out on the Twitter machine here and I said hey you know what let's see if we can get 235 so we drew it back if you pick this chart back you'll see some resistance around that level not much it comes back in we have a 235 order there we take it out at that price and then you can see the low of the day about 233 and change so nice move down on uh Tesla today of obviously reacting to Twitter as well but it's just be patient wait for your trade to come to you and when it does you can get rewarded so again we take like a 70 or 80 cent worth of risk our best out there 235 so about five to six dollar winner with a smaller risk that's why it's your trade of the day
