hi there it's Lee here welcome to IM mind blocks in this video I've got something quite cool to share with you so it's actually a hard paper wallet I suppose that is the actual best description for this so This is actually a cool product I'll be showing you in just a moment and it's one that I've been actually really looking forward to receiving um of all the things that I do sort of receive in the parts upware um this is something that is just really quite simple but for some reason I just really like the whole idea of it and and I'm really looking forward to actually sharing it with you guys so this is actually done by a company called bit stashers decom um I discovered them I think I was just browsing uh Facebook or Twitter and these guys had a at first I actually see the actual product and I really liked it I thought that was a cool product and then they had a offer where it was a a promotion where you all she needed to do was to order the product you could just pay for shipping and you get the product free that seemed like a great offer to me so I paid $15 for shipping and I ordered the actual product itself from bites.com so this is the actual product uh just give you a little look here so it just comes in this little paper wallet I've got some other bits I'll go into details in just a moment so here is the actual product itself I'll give you guys a really good close-up look at this in a minute cuz there's a few other bits that I want to talk about so it's actually a thin piece of aluminium and then this part over the top of it is actually uh laser etched on there okay so one other item was that the guys over at bit stashes Mike I think is the chief guy over there he's one that's been sort of a corresponding with me he also sent me a time-lapse video of the actual laser etching process uh of this actual car that I've got right in my hands so what I'm going to do is I'm just going to show you a it's a 30C clip of the actual lasering process I thought it was really quite cool to actually see your card essentially being manufactured I thought that was quite cool um so I'll cut to that now and you can actually see uh this card as it's being made so it's really cool it's really nice finish and I've actually gone for the black card um with it's like um an off-white kind of a writing and it's called the PCB design so what we have on here is my Bitcoin address and there's also a QR code as well for the obviously the corresponding address there so I really like the idea of the product just a nice easy way to sort of share your Bitcoin address uh means you don't have to get your phone out or do anything like that just a cool easy way for it to be shared so I actually ordered this uh product off bites.com like say using that uh promotional code and just paying for the actual shipping uh what I did after that was actually I emailed him and there was a guy who runs a company called Mike um and I explain that I run a small uh YouTube channel the one you're watching right now uh and I asked if there's any chance of any um samples of the products that they do and um he said uh yeah of course they'll be happy to sort of um help out so they've actually sent me over a few other bits and pieces um so I'm looking forward to sharing all of those with you uh as well um so what we'll do now is we'll take a closeup look at the actual products that have been sent over to me and I'll go through them uh piece by piece and just um Shar in the whole range with you or the range that I've received at least um so let's take a close-up look at these products okay so this is the actual card that I had made for me so it's uh black with white uh printing on there hopefully you can see that in the actual light uh we've got my QR code on the left uh the actual design is called the PCB designs you can obviously see those uh circuit sort of effects that are in there and then further down we've got the actual public key of the actual Bitcoin wallet there so that is my actual Bitcoin address which represents this card and obviously the QR code can also be used to send transactions to this card as well on the uh you've also got the actual Bitcoin logo just to kind of you can really have anything you want printed pretty much um on these these are just kind of like sample designs and you can customize them to suit your own needs um but this is actually a live working a Bitcoin wallet and address and I will be using it some point in the future it's just uh the same dimensions as a regular credit or debit card the same sort of uh thickness I don't know what the exact dimensions are on the back it's just uh just a plain black finish so that is the actual main product there and it's just a really nice way of sharing your Bitcoin address uh without you know exposing your phone or uh complications of you know writing your address out or anything like that so just a nice way of uh sharing that really nice simple product um okay so what I'll do now is I'll move on to the actual other range of products that have been sent over to me okay guys so here's the actual full range of products and samples that were sent over to me by bites.com so we've got a nice little selection here I'm really looking forward to sharing it with you so this is the actual original card that I purchased from them um I just paid shipping on that and I got this uh free so this is my original purchase the other parts were actually included and sent over um as samples to me so I'm really appreciative that they sent these extra bits over and so I can share them with you guys so here's another version of the actual same C this is the purple design of the pp PCB so it's the same as the first card just in a different color but it's almost where this is just a plain black finish and this one you can kind of pick up a little bit more of the actual metallic to it so just uh on the actual reverse side just got the plain purple there so there just you like your credit card style wallets both really nice and simple both look great we've also got this Bitcoin bottle opener and it has my QR code and address on there so that's a really nice little feature it's also got a little hole so you can kind of um attach it to a key ring or a pendum something like that and it's the same QR code AS obviously on the actual cards that's going to be the same for everywhere everything what you really notice is the actual uh the aluminium is a lot thicker on the bottle opener versus the cards so it's probably about four times as thick the cards are quite thin but there are exactly the dimensions that they need to be so we've got a cool bottle opener as well there and then we've got some dog tags we've got a green one both of these uh come with chains as well by the way I just left one with a chain on and one without so it's green got a little Bitcoin printed circuit board on the uh back side there obviously got a hole for actually attaching your chain and then on the front side we've got the Bitcoin address and also the QR code same as the other QR codes that's really nice so that's the green one and then we've got the same thing again just in a different color we've got it in Orange so let me just take the chain off the table rattling around a little bit on the actual microphone so again we've got our orange QR code with our bitc dress and on the reverse a cool Bitcoin emblem with the uh printed circuit Bard design on there again so really nice so that's all the parts that were sent over to me like I said I did get a second uh chain as well included for those uh dog tags so bit stashes they do it um these in a couple of different designs you can have it your own way so what some people were doing were getting the Bitcoin Hardware wallets or Bitcoin paper wallets or in this form uh printed with their public key and then what some people would doing getting their private key put on the actual dog tags because um you can have it kind of all on one card but obviously there's um Safety and Security issues there if someone finds your card then they would have access to your Bitcoin Wallet balance so what some people were doing we separating them like I say putting the public key on their card and then their private key on the dog tags keeping things separate so a really nice little collection here provided by bit stashers okay guys so that's just about it for this video hopefully you've enjoyed watching um I've really enjoyed sharing this product with you I've been looking forward to receiving it for quite some time so here's the purple PCB printed version of the Bitcoin wallet there you can see that not too sure how the focusing is on it but yeah hopefully you've enjoyed watching
