chain link as a project is one of my personal favorites and so I'm really happy to report that link the token l i NK has been pumping very impressively in the last few weeks it's been moving against most of the rest of the market and it's actually up 36% in the last 30 days and for a project like chain link something likely extraordinary has to be Brewing behind the scenes to lead to this kind of a pump in the current sideways Market at least sideways for every other project in this video we're breaking down the three main variables that are pushing up the price of Link reason number one is actually a pretty common reason for any crypto token to experience a pump and is a variable that we always like to keep an eye on that is whale accumulation and when it comes to chain link there's some mysterious entity that has accumulated a pretty staggering amount of Link tokens um in the last two days for example link tokens worth $42 million have been accumulated by this single entity as reported by look on chain and it's still unclear as of this recording whether this is a single crypto whale or maybe an institution accumulating we just don't know but it is intriguing activity and it suggests a strategic move by an entity with considerable Financial backing and of course confidence in the future of chain link and notably this particular accumulation spree is not an isolate Incident That's because in January crypto Wales accumulated more than 57 million link tokens worth over $855 million but why the sudden surge maybe the whales know something that the rest of us are unaware of well like I said we have three reasons why the price of link is pumping and the next two reasons probably have influenced some of the whale activity that we're observing here listen up if introduced in July of 2023 ccip stands for cross chain interoperability protocol and as is evident from the name it's an interoperability solution that is going to connect blockchains synthetics was one of the first projects to get access to ccip and now when we look at its supported network list you can see that it's expanded to ethereum polygon optimism arbitrum BNB chain as well as coinbase's base to that's b a e and one of the most exciting aspects of ccip is its potential to link up defi with traditional financial institutions and the good news is that Swift the society for worldwide interbank Financial telecommunication they announced a trial collaboration between major Banks and chain links CCI for Capital flow but this happened a little while ago June 2023 which which begs the question if that happened last summer then why are whales suddenly accumulating now well let's consider this chain length CCI main net is still not open for everyone if a network wants access to ccip they actually need to apply for it okay but that's right now however very soon ccip General access on mainnet is going to be rolled out how do we know this we actually went detective mode and checked out chain Link's product update for Q4 for 2023 here it states explicitly and I quote expand access to ccip by transitioning to mainnet General availability or ga making cross-chain messaging and transfers of supported tokens on ccip permissionless available to all developers which we anticipate will launch early next year subject to final testing end quote okay but what does that mean well for context almost 100 projects are running on CCI IP test net currently and as soon as general availability is rolled out all of these are going to go live simultaneously with Maximum Impact and so this scale of adoption could lead to a massive price pump especially when a bull run is just around the corner but then additionally there's also a high possibility that chain link might be coming out with another massive update an update that is even getting the likes of Black Rock CEO Larry thinkink excited just listen to this as I said these are just start stepping stones towards tokenization and I I really do believe this is where we're going to be going we have the technology to tokenized today if you want to talk about think about this if you had a tokenized security and you have a your online US state department account without revealing your account password or birth date or even your name to the Oracle now this kind of privacy in the current web communication is much required and this is Possible only with tokenized identity which is something that Larry fin has emphasized and chain link offers it but is Deco ready well it went from being a concept cept to a proof of concept in 2022 it's been about 18 months since chain link has The Deco code ready and now actually we have a pretty recent update as per this tweet from January 30th and this particular update is with regard to rwas or real world assets and when I took a look at what architecture is supporting the rwas on chain link Deco is a major supporting block of it and even in this tweet here also courtesy of chain link they talk about seven things that important to power tokenized rwas at scale and Deco is one of them it clearly means that Deco is ready or at least very nearly ready to be
