01. All week I've been trying to overcome my pessimism with a more constructive approach, because when almost everything is on sale, incredible bargains can be found— if you know where to look, of course. After today's growth, I think you'll agree with me. But the market is still very oversold, which means that in the absence of news, we may have the potential for further growth .

02. So tonight I want to highlight a few stocks that have been hit the hardest. Recent IPOs that went from being the hottest stocks on the market to downright terrible based on last month's results. Whenever people are gripped by fear, they sell off all sorts of good stocks, including almost everything that has recently gone public.

03. This is exactly where they direct their attention. Of course, we only want the best, so I'm stopping at Cava Group, Reddit, and Viking Holdings . Cava Group, Reddit, and Viking Holdings, because I think you get an incredible chance to buy all three well below their highs. Why don't we consider them one by one?

04. Let's start with Cava Group. This is a chain of Mediterranean restaurants. Entered the public market in June 2023. Cava started very confidently. Then there was a cooling-off period of several months. I started recommending it at around $30 in November 2023, after Cava's chairman, Ron Shake, a former Panera Bread executive, convinced me that the company had the potential to become the next big player in the casual dining segment.

05. After that, the stock rose steadily for most of last year. Up to a peak of $172 last November. This came after Cava reported a stellar quarter, with shares soaring 19% during the day before retreating to close the session up less than 2%. It's always a bad sign when you see this type of rally. This is called a "clean sale." You should stay away from this.

06. Of course, the price has since rebounded, falling to the mid- 70s, although today the stock has rebounded nicely along with the rest of the market. Nevertheless, Cava's value more than halved because it was at the very epicenter of events. This is a restaurant business. This is a recent IPO. Stocks remain expensive even after a sell-off.

07. This is not what you need if you are worried about consumer confidence numbers like everyone else. I have never recommended these stocks because of their cheapness. I like Cava because I think it has a great long-term story of transitioning from regional to national. At the end of last year, they had 367 establishments.

08. Their stores are very successful and have huge potential to expand from regional to national. That's right, they can cover the entire country. And by the way, Chipotle stock has never been cheap. I don't see any signs that this business is losing momentum. When Cava reported a 21% increase in same-store sales last quarter — for goodness sake, now that the stock is down 55% from its highs, you have my blessing to start buying on Monday.

09. And if they continue to fall, you know what you should do? Buy. Buy even more. What about others? Okay, Reddit . This is the online forum site that I have loved so much since it went public. A major player in the online advertising industry. Stocks that went from hot to icy almost overnight. I started recommending them last May for about $50 each.

10. By December, they had soared to 153. That's why I advised you to start taking profits. While Reddit continued to grow to 230, where it finally peaked a little over a month ago. Since then, the stock has been going straight down. They have fallen more than 50% in a month, hitting a low of around 105 on Monday, before rebounding to more than 120 today.

11. Remember, today's rally included a lot of these " hot" stocks, as well as some stocks I don't really like. Quantum stocks, electric companies, nuclear power plants, you know what I mean? Just like with Cava, Reddit did nothing wrong. They reported a great quarter last month. Revenue growth accelerated to as much as 71%.

12. The problem here is that these are exactly the type of stocks that people get rid of when we face a market-wide collapse. It's almost programmed. The only scenario where I would become more pessimistic about Reddit's fundamentals is if the current period of macroeconomic uncertainty turns into a real recession, as a recession would really hurt their advertising business.

13. During a recession, anything that depends on advertising suffers greatly. But I don't think we're headed for a recession, which means Reddit is pretty attractive now that the stock has effectively halved. Right now they're selling for... no. Okay, those numbers might scare you a little , but don't be sold: They trade for about 58 times forward earnings and 39 times next year's earnings.

14. Okay, this is not crazy for a great regional- national story . I've seen it over and over again . Plus, given how Reddit is beating forecasts, I wouldn't be surprised if the stock ends up being much cheaper than it seems right now, if only because future earnings are likely to be higher than expected.

15. Again , as long as there's no recession, as long as this thing continues to spread and grow not only in this country but, I would say, around the world, right? It's a winner and I think it's going to be very big internationally. Finally, one more short topic. Viking Holdings, the parent company of Viking Cruises, is a cruise line best known for its European river cruise itineraries and upscale, sophisticated market positioning.

16. By the way, remember when Royal Caribbean was here talking about river cruises? These guys now completely control this market. However, they target a specific type of customer. That's why one of their slogans is: "no children, no casinos ." You know exactly what you 're getting here. So, I recommended Viking Holdings the day after they went public on May 1st, when the stock was worth 27.

17. Regular viewers know that I'm a big fan of cruise lines, and I'm going on one of them in May. They were a great investment, and Viking is a unique player with an impressive focus on affluent American baby boomers. We have been excited to watch Viking shares climb higher and higher over the past year and even into the first few weeks of 2025.

18. Eventually, in early February, just before the market-wide sell-off, they peaked at just over $53. Since then, shares have fallen to 40, about 25% below their highs a little over a month ago. Again, as I explained when I advised buying Royal Caribbean on Wednesday, cruise lines are different from other travel companies.

19. They are an incredible value compared to traditional vacation alternatives, especially if you want to drink a lot , and that's still true for Viking's upscale cruises. But for Viking in particular, we have a fresher, company-specific catalyst . On Tuesday morning, the company reported a great quarter with matching revenue and an impressive 9 cents profit beat on underlying 36 cents.

20. No one paid attention to this because of the general market sell-off. There were also very positive comments on the annual outlook, with CEO Thors Hagen noting that the company is increasing its core product capacity by 12% this year through the delivery of 11 new ships. They are already 88 % booked for the 2025 season.

21. So, it looks like things are going smoothly at Viking for now . And we received this update after the tariff terror began. Since the stock has fallen significantly and is now trading at about 17 times this year's earnings estimates, I think it's worth buying right now. So, the main conclusion. Even after today's rebound, many stocks are still far from their highs, and I think we've reached a point where we can look for opportunities among the most affected companies if we pick the best performers like Cava Group, Reddit, and Viking Holdings .

22. They fell the hardest , and if we get through it, they will probably bounce back the hardest as well. Moving on to Austin, Massachusetts. Austin. Oh yes. Jim, I love you, brother. Thank you for accepting. Thank you, boss. Thank you. What's going on, Jim? So, Jim, I bought Palantir below $10 and I think this stock, like Palantir at the time, is grossly undervalued and misunderstood.

23. They have true American innovation in manufacturing, significant capacity expansion, recent $6.5 billion in government funding for a plant in Georgia. They just hit gross profit per car sold. They have a low price- to-sales multiple, 2.2 . Okay, you've intrigued me. Intrigued. They're releasing four-engine engines in 2025, Jim.

24. which accelerate from 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds with a power of 1000 horsepower. They develop FSD. Er, they also develop FSD. And their founder, RJ, is a strong leader with an impressive... RJ. This is the hint you wanted. If we played Jeopardy with David Faber, we would be completely crushed . Okay . Um, I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I don't like their balance sheet.

25. If they had better balance, I would say it would be fine. And I know they got money from others, but it takes a long time to go public. People don't understand how long it took Tesla to get to this level. And Tesla had, you know, a musician at the head of the company. And these guys—Cringe—are good, but I'm worried about the funding.

26. But I'm not done with the questions yet. I want to go to Bill from Massachusetts. Just in my own way . Billy. Jimbo, I am a proud CRA American and a proud member of the club. Can I take a minute and say a few words? I love being in the club. This is the best club I've ever been to. Thank you. And what about yesterday, when we took a chance right in the middle, in the midst of a sale.

27. Thank you. OK. I don't even know. Words are not enough. It was nice meeting you, Jeff, Regina, and your staff is so kind to the uninitiated. This is simply incredible. Well, that's about me, when you say so. I'll tell you that I love this club and am thrilled that we have a meeting soon, it will be interesting.

28. I look at Regina Gilgen. She does so much to make the meeting wonderful. All the little details, and she cares so much about them. It was nice to meet her. She is an amazing person. She really is . Like her mom and dad. Her parents are also just explosive. Good. I'll tell you, Jim, I was so happy this week that I was able to open a position in Costco and Netflix in the 800s.

29. I was like this . Oh, I'm delighted. Delighted. Um, I just wanted to ask your opinion on GE Aerospace. Will it be able to take more of a stake from Boeing or others? How do you think they will cope? Oh, man. OK. OK. OK. I think the answer is—they can take a lot. And you have to, you have to buy it, buy it like crazy, because this is what's going to happen: there's going to be so much maintenance on these planes, and that's where they make the most money.

30. And don't forget, you're getting Larry Culp, one of the greatest executives in America. Okay, at this point in the sale, I think we should start buying some of the hardest hit titles. Many of these new IPOs have fallen sharply, which means they could rebound just as strongly. But we made money before.

31. Jeff Marks and I tried to answer all your pressing questions at our monthly meeting yesterday, but we didn't have time to answer them all, so I'm coming back to them. Then my exclusive interview with a privately held beer company that is bucking the trend of rising prices. And of course, all your calls are at a fast pace in today' to K.
