so this morning uh so the reason that market was gapping up a little bit market was had some sort of a bottoming action and you know there were a couple of good uh you know news for the market that you know investors going back into some positions one of them was that the congressional budget office cbo they said that the gdp would go by 3.9 3.1 percent all right guys good morning everybody good morning bear with trader sorry i missed trading yesterday carlos was here and uh there was a monolith concert that we went to the concert and uh you know just uh we knew that we're not gonna make it anymore at the open and what a day was open actually yesterday it was really really strong and really really good trading opportunities but unfortunately i missed uh trading and that so this morning uh so the reason that market was gapping up a little bit market was had some sort of a bottoming action and you know there were a couple of good uh you know news for the market that you know made investors going back into some positions one of them was that the congressional budget office cbo they said that the gdp would grow by 3.
3.1 percent and the inflation is gonna be back to two percent uh very soon have you already passed the inflation and then there was some comments from the pre atlanta president uh first president that uh they said that we might have stopped you know raising rates in september if needed so that was those two things was a good news the market has started going back up so financial tightening becomes a little bit less aggressive and uh yeah inflation is the mind of everyone right now so we have those big gap hops on the qqq and the strong and the spy so as you see we're bouncing back um amd today was a strong and i traded amd for a one minute opening range breakup actually i should have really jumped in a little bit earlier but i waited a little bit at 101.2 popped up all the way up to one or two above so that was a really one one minute opening range rate that we did the same as tq i again i chased the tq a little bit for some reason i was waiting for a little bit of a better pullback but market really opened very very strong so you know a much better entry would have been around here for one minute opening range break up and i did pull back past my breakeven point i waited and that came back up and i got out of it but i really should have you know waited to uh this one to continue going higher uh so that was my uh yeah so that was my trade tesla had a really nice run these two was the only trades that i had uh so yeah that was two those those two were the only trades that i had was uh you know amd and tq eventually four thousand dollar day uh you know that i had here on the other account i also had a couple of trades on tq which was a little bit profitable over there too so that was a fairly good trade and uh you know happy to uh have this uh day and brian what about you uh yeah i had a i had a nice uh nice opening range breakout i was watching dell at the open so uh dell uh was looking uh wow let's see let me bring that up here yeah that dell dell was interesting it was gapping up at the open kind of flagged it right away said it was uh it was looking strong as we got into those last couple minutes and uh yeah took it long as it as it broke right out there so um i tried to try to play it um you know i i'd taken most of my position off by the time i went through 52 but when it pulled back to the view app tried to go long again it uh it failed to to go back up to the high of day so i just i had to get stopped out on the on that second entry so as soon as it lost the view out there um so that uh kind of uh second trade didn't work out on it and uh the other one that worked out pretty well was big i think it was a nice move too nice opening range breakout as well this was kind of what i call a phoenix trade which is the gap down the trading above the view app which one yeah big big big yeah phoenix trade um gapping down but trading above the v wap going and then strength going into the last couple minutes into the open had a nice pop-up there as well so yeah yeah overall it was a pretty good day yeah i know some i know it flagged uh there were just so that's a lot of opportunities this morning i'd flagged swtx as a rising devil trade i know i didn't take it but some of the other uh traders in the room i know at least one or two took a took this as a short which worked out really well very nice make sure that the making notes on all of these because we want to have a presentation on your uh trade yes make sure you just write down these dates and uh stickers we can go back and play around with them um so yeah that was a pretty good day it's uh so remember guys mondays uh is uh holiday and uh markets are closed uh so yeah the next trading day would be on tuesday morning um today at 12 at 3 p.m uh we've got adi and i and carlos are going to go to the space twitter space join us if you have any questions let's have a discussion of the state of the market plus uh you know day trading in this market uh and at 6 00 p.m tonight in vancouver office we have a small meet up if any one of you are in vancouver uh just uh guys you'll come to the office for for have a little bit of a beer together uh brian you coming at 6 p.m to get the beer together yeah yeah perfect yeah what free period yes add this here so we can have you know one hour drinking together for one beer and you know welcome to the office and there's a forum post uh in the chat room that we're gonna post uh thank you so much guys and uh uh yeah so see you all monday morning you
