01. hey everybody let's do a quick video here on Tesla stock TSLA you know I bought some stock a little while to go and drop down to like 250 260 I got videos on that and I've got a playlist on the TSLA stock I got anyway here it is now today it is 302 a share right now which is great it's been up since that crazy meeting that that Elon Musk at last week to call the earnings call to never be forgotten if you know anything about that it was you know just going crazy and he is obviously getting really I don't have defensive is the word but just not wanted to take anybody's crap anymore and it's tired of healing about hurting about people and he may be right he very well may be right because Tesla does stuff different than everybody else and he is basically setting up this company different and of course most of the people who are dealing with money are reactive Astana's pointed out before and are basing all their stuff on history and he's making history so I want to make quick video here showing how like obviously the short people people are going even more more he'll are going in on shorting Tesla stock and if you know what shorting means it means that you're betting that the stock is going to go down in the near term because if it doesn't go down in the near term and it goes up or if it goes up in the long term you're out a lot of money you're kind of like doubling down that it's gonna go it's gonna drop and anybody who's short right before that meeting in the earnings call last week and sold within a day actually made a lot of money because of the way the stock drop after what Elon said what kind of nervous about that I guess but it was just a daily thing and you've got it's almost like day trading you've gotta you know do this and really know what you're doing and a lot people have held shorts for a long time in the stock it is the most shorted stock out there and the supply is dwindling right now that's kind of what this article here is saying and oh it's also mentioning that today and just nother reason I'm making this video Elon Musk purchased almost ten million dollars worth of stock today okay it's his largest purchase since March 2017 and you know he's putting his own money and I guess to kind of taunt the short sellers even more he says here like the sheer magnitude of the short current will be unreal if you're sure I suggest tiptoeing qualit quietly to the exit so it's gonna we're gonna watch how this plays out over the next I don't know six months or so through the end of the year up to January 1 this is the probably the most critical time in the in the company's history and I am just kind of curious as to where you think stocks gonna be on January 1 2019 because right now it's about $300 a share I'm predicting 400 dollars a share that's my prediction by January 1 what is your prediction let us know in the comments just go ahead and make a comment with a number in it anywhere from zero which is completely bankrupt to 4,000 or whatever between let me know what you think it's gonna be on January 1 2019 so let's see see shares short interest has been unrelenting okay so basically they're running out of supply to when there's this candy thing here about the drive 100 they're also the Stila Warren Buffett but the candy thing and the moat you probably follow that too that's going on today - there's so much drama involved missus unbelievable short selling demand continues to grow at this pace short seller fulfill the ank's at Tesla Model 3 builders are feel our feeling which demand outstripping supply that's what's gonna happen they're gonna run out of supply and it's gonna be nearly impossible to short and then if it enterprising it's gonna just destroy everybody who's got a short position in Tesla that's kind of what Elon Musk is saying is gonna happen what do you think is gonna happen because if it does go to 400 I think it's gonna destroy the short sell it just going up to 400 and that's what I think it's gonna happen so let me know let me know Judy's gonna happen in the comments I look forward to reading any other comic shop - but give me a number just write in the comments where you think the stock is gonna be on January 1 and we'll see who's right in about 7 months
