It belongs to him. He'd been around for so long, in fact, that a phone call from Larry Fink would immediately overturn any decision he might make as Chancellor that didn't suit him . Dr. In a recent interview, Markus Krall has uncovered a brand new BlackRock affair involving Friedrich Merz and BlackRock CEO Larry Fink that is simply shocking .
Welcome to News in Brief. Let's take a look at this right away, because it's truly incredible. he maintained this connection to BlackRock for many years. He was chairman of the supervisory board of BlackRock Europe. BlackRock and Larry Fink, the boss and part-owner of BlackRock, made him rich beyond his wildest imagination.
Yes, because the idea that he could have somehow amassed the wealth he possesses as a lawyer or consultant is completely out of the question. Yes, of course, it is true that he ultimately lacks the economic competence to justify this job . He can't even read a bank balance sheet. If he could read a bank balance sheet, he would know that all the...
Yes, he claims that the savings accounts of Germans are money lying around that needs to be activated for investments. Yes, if he could read a bank balance sheet, he would know that the savings accounts of Germans are loans that the Germans have given to the banks, and which the banks have then passed out on the other side of their balance sheet as loans to home builders, companies, the state, and whoever else .
So the money has already been invested. I ca n't recycle that again. Yes? This means that the money is not lying around uselessly, but has simply flowed from savings accounts into the capital market to be used for investments . Mr. Merz obviously doesn't know that, otherwise he would n't be talking such nonsense.
And that means that, economically speaking, it ca n't be economic know-how and knowledge that got him the job. So what got him the job? Of course, that's exactly what Blackrock wanted. BlackRock has essentially created its own chancellor, hasn't it? This is purely a lobbying story, isn't it? It belongs to them.
It belongs to them. He'd been around for so long , in fact, that a phone call from Larry Fink would immediately overturn any decision he might make as Chancellor that didn't suit him. And it probably happens regularly. Yes? And that also explains his behavior. And of course, one might think that BlackRock, as a business enterprise, would have an interest in the economy growing and flourishing, and that one can only do good business in a growing economy , at least if one has a decent business model .
But that's not how BlackRock largely works, and that's not how the locusts largely work either. Rather, what happens when a country is run down as Germany is currently being run down is a crisis along the lines of the Greek crisis. So, what the Greeks experienced between 2010 and 2015. And what happens if a crisis occurs along the lines of the Greek crisis?
Then, of course, savings are made at all costs, because there's no other way, and privatization is carried out at all costs . And Germany probably has some of the largest state-owned assets on the planet. I estimate that it should be around 3000 billion euros, considering everything that's there in terms of roads, infrastructure, investments, savings banks, state banks, airports, ports, energy suppliers, municipal utilities, waste disposal, and so on.
If you privatize that, you could easily get 3000 billion, maybe even more billion . And that is what they intend to do with Germany. To run Germany into the ground to such an extent that Germany is forced to sell off all its assets at rock-bottom prices and make a select few ultra-rich , even richer than they already are.
And BlackRock is a key player in the oligarchic financial system, and then we know what interests our Chancellor represents, if, and I personally assume he does, because I ca n't explain it any other way, he is in fact representing the interests of BlackRock. And following Markus Krall's remarks, I would like to take another look at the following accusation against Friedrich Merz, and this is truly outrageous and is being deliberately concealed from you here , because Blackrock is exploiting loopholes in the tax system and Merz is allegedly pulling the strings again as a Blackrock agent.
It's incredible, let's take a look at this . According to a scientific analysis, the US financial group Blackrock is exploiting loopholes in the European system to legally avoid millions in tax payments, and what the consequences of this are. This is because the company achieves tax rates that are estimated to be about half as high as the statutory rates in Germany, which they would actually have to pay, according to the report by Turkish economist Seyhun Elgin.
He investigated the case on behalf of the left-wing MEP Martin Schirdewahn. And one simply has to add, as Mr. Krall has already said, that Merz was not chairman of the supervisory board of Blackrock because of his economic expertise. He even had to be briefed before his presentations, you all heard about that, meaning he was paid for his lobbying, for his political influence.
And what many don't know, Friedrich Merz, who is always demanding more work , I have to mention this again briefly , only worked one or two days a week at BlackRock himself and received millions of euros for it, hundreds of thousands of euros every month. This was even proven in Der Spiegel according to an employee statement, and as I said, that was the source of his wealth.
And all that with just one or two days of work a week. The same Friedrich Merz who demands that we citizens work more again, nothing to do with a four-day week, but he himself hasn't even adhered to a four-day week. That's just a side note, but back to the topic. The BlackRock tactic has resulted in significant losses in public revenue.
According to an analysis, Germany alone will lose around 50 million euros in tax revenue annually from 2017 to 2023. The EU as a whole loses 140 million euros annually. And that's just the tax money that's lost because of BlackRock. There are other companies that do the same thing, i.e., save on taxes.
And now I'll show you how the companies do it. And then you'll think to yourself, this is disgusting. Okay. It is legal, and Friedrich Merz is making sure that it will remain legal . According to the report, the investment company used intra-group transactions. This allows them to charge subsidiaries in high-tax countries, such as Germany, high license fees for the use of internal software, thereby reducing taxable profits.
At the same time, the fees flow as income, i.e., profits, to subsidiaries in countries with lower taxes. To summarize briefly again, the profits are simply shifted around, and that's legal. You can't do that as an employee. That's something even the small café next door or the middle class can't do.
But that's something multinational companies like Starbucks can do, as they operate in hundreds of countries. And then they simply take the profit from Germany , let's say Starbucks makes one million euros in Germany, then they charge license fees of one million euros. Then there will be no more profit in Germany.
The profit then flows abroad in the form of one million euros in license fees, for example to Ireland or the Netherlands, where taxes are more favorable for companies, and is then taxed there normally. So, if you ask me, it's simply insane that this is allowed, because Starbucks, or that giant corporation, which of course had the opportunity to shift funds to other countries because it also has locations there, has enormous competitive advantages over a regional German company, and there you can see once again that Merz and the CDU, who are currently in government, are not making policy for German businesses, for German citizens who work hard, the bakeries that work their butts off, but rather they are making policy for the Starbucks, for the BlackRock of our time.
Blackrock informed ARD in writing that the study contains false and misleading claims. So, it's now trying to disprove the whole thing. According to the statement, Blackrock pays taxes in accordance with the tax rates set by the respective tax authorities . They act conservatively in tax matters to ensure, of course, that Blackrock pays all legally required taxes.
And I have to say, Blackrock is right for once. They actually pay the tax rates set by each tax authority at any given time . The only difference is that they reduce their profit, meaning they hardly have to pay any taxes because they hardly make any profit in Germany, and then they also pay the fixed tax rates in the low-tax countries .
That's true, but not in Germany. So, that's the crucial point. So, everything written here is basically true, but like a good politician, they have very, very well talked their way out of it and simply mentioned the facts that benefit them, naturally omitting the really dirty things, namely that they are shifting the profits.
That's disgusting . And the left-wing politician, who for once said something good, emphasized that it is worrying that governments allow such aggressive tax strategies by multinational corporations. This is a cross-border problem that requires a bold EU policy. However, with Friedrich Merz as Chancellor, we have the wrong person in office, namely a Blackrock agent who represents interests other than those of Germans.
Schilderwan warns the CDU politician against being a financial lobbyist. Merz was chairman of the supervisory board of a BlackRock Germany subsidiary from 2016 to 2021. He resigned from this position when he returned to politics in 2021 . But the question I ask myself is, has he really resigned from office, or does he still retain some of it within him, if you understand what I mean?
And the question remains, who ultimately benefits from reconstruction in Ukraine, where Friedrich Merz has repeatedly sought talks with Blackrock CEO Larry Fink, who in turn is already holding talks with Zelenskyy. This means that a reconstruction is already being prepared here, in which Blackrock is of course the one providing the money for the reconstruction and massively co-financing and profiting from it.
And then, of course, the question arises: do politicians like Friedrich Merz receive a kickback commission, meaning do they perhaps even profit from it? Feel free to write your opinion in the comments. Click on the left to watch the following video about the Merz-Blackrock affair. Several things become clear there, especially regarding the reconstruction in Ukraine; you might find it very interesting. Thank you for watching, see you next time and bye. Take care.
